Software defined Networking (SDN) is an ongoing emerging network model that simplifies network management tasks. this review deals with the idea of distributed controllers in large scale software defined networking (LSSDN). Numerous studies have been available considering single controller based classical network. A single controller is insufficient to control the entire network, so a distributed controller or multi-controller is needed for easy flow processing. the details about single controller based SDN are published in the previous literature. So here, author's only focuses on multi controller based software defined network which provides several advantages over classical network in form of features, configuration, performance and innovation. Furthermore, 6 recent distributed controllers are considered and compared on the basis of 26 different criteria's. Also the placement problem in distributed SDN controller is explored. this paper investigates that how to choose the best possible SDN controller which in result will support scalability, less software and hardware needs, centralized visibility and high availability of network and less technical resources requirements. © 2021 ieee.

this paper studies the application of information sharing technology in distributed photovoltaic aggregation optimization control, and proposes an optimization control strategy based on distributed gradient descent algorithm. this strategy realizes collaborative control between each substation through information sharing technology to reduce power fluctuations and improve the overall efficiency of photovoltaic power generation. this paper constructs a mathematical model of distributed photovoltaic system and designs a corresponding distributed gradient descent algorithm, which can realize global optimization control under the premise of exchanging only a small amount of information between each substation. the effectiveness of the optimization control strategy is verified by modeling and testing the photovoltaic system data of a certain actual substation. the simulation results show that after applying the distributed gradient descent algorithm, the information sharing between each substation improves the overall power generation efficiency of the system and reduces power fluctuations. Specific data show that without increasing additional hardware costs, the power generation efficiency of the system is increased by about 8% and the power fluctuation is reduced by about 12%. these results fully demonstrate that the proposed distributed photovoltaic optimization control strategy based on information sharing has significant advantages in practical applications.

In recent years, advancements and applications of computer vision techniques such as neural radiance fields (NeRF) and Gaussian splatting have set new expectations of mapping and 3D reconstruction tasks. Achieving high-accuracy outdoor mapping using radiance field methods requires the integration of robust localization method and carefully designed multi-sensor perception systems. In this paper, we introduce a multimodal dataset tailored for high-precision mapping of large-scale outdoor scenes. To achieve this, we developed an aerial data acquisition platform equipped with a GPS-synchronized solid-state LiDAR, industrial cameras, and inertial measurement units. After comprehensive intrinsic and extrinsic calibration, we collected 3D reconstruction datasets focusing on building exteriors across scenes within a university campus. the raw data, along with documentation on synchronization, calibration procedures, and platform design, will be progressively released on the project's Github repository: https://***/lilrookie76/radiance-dataset.

In the distributed file sharing system, a large number of users share bandwidth, upload resources and store them in a decentralized manner, thus offering both an abundant supply of high-quality resources and high-speed download. However, some users only enjoy the convenient service without uploading or sharing, which is called free riding. Free-riding may discourage other honest users. When free-riding users mount to a certain number, the platform may fail to work. the current available incentive mechanisms, such as reciprocal incentive mechanisms and reputation-based incentive mechanisms, which suffer simple incentive models, inability to achieve incentive circulation and dependence on a third-party trusted agency, are unable to completely solve the free-riding problem. In this paper we build a blockchain-based distributed file sharing platform and design a nested incentive scheme for this platform. the proposed nested incentive mechanism achieves the circulation of incentives in the platform and does not rely on any trusted third parties for incentive distribution, thus providing a better solution to free-riding. Our distributed file sharing platform prototype is built on the current mainstream blockchain. Nested incentive scheme experiments on this platform verify the effectiveness and superiority of our incentive scheme in solving the free-riding problem compared to other schemes. © 2021 ieee.

the quality of transmission in underwater sensors are more challenging due to unidirectional transfer across depth to the surface. In this scenario, the energy remains in some nodes wherein some consists of drained energy in close proximity driven by transmission. Hence, confining transmissions by appropriately selecting nodes in particular area via compressive sensing improves the quality of transmission. In this work, quality of transmission underwater wireless sensor nodes compressive sensing (QTUWSN-CS) model is proposed by considering the topology and data flow nature. the reconstruction accuracy along the deployed terrain is bisected in such a way that the demands of traffic and its quality of transmission are preserved. © 2021 ieee.

Condition monitoring is playing a vital role in providing the information on health status of system. One of the approaches is to use sensors embedded in the system, and the measured data will be utilized for estimation of remaining life using end-of-life based diagnostic algorithms. Currently these sensors are selected based on the detectability of features for diagnostics algorithms, without attention to the diagnostic algorithms outcomes at the system level. Relating the diagnostic algorithm critical-to-quality (CTQ) metrics to system level outcomes for maintenance activities is addressed in this paper with a capacitor bank case study. Comparison of the diagnostic algorithm outcome with the actual scenario is carried out by using a confusion matrix and related with system measures such as no fault found and operational interruption rate. Normal probability density functions (pdf) are plotted for healthy capacitor bank and algorithm estimations for degraded capacitor bank at derived mean and standard deviation. Intersecting area of the actual capacitance pdf with the estimated pdf is calculated based on % degradation at various tolerance levels of capacitance estimation. Finding of this method is that the sensor must measure capacitance with 1 to 2% error tolerance for minimum impact on system level outcomes at all levels of capacitor degradation.

this paper proposes a framework for the wireless sensor data collection using multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Wireless sensors can be used in a wide range of applications to detect information about their environment. Typically limited in power, they have a short transmission range. this paper proposes the use of UAVs as mobile sink nodes to visit the wireless sensors and download their data. the proposed framework calculates location of download points (DP) using an iterative k-means clustering algorithm, computes optimal paths between DPs using a single-source-shortest-path (SSSP) algorithm parallelized on a GPU and use a genetic algorithm to allocate the DPs to the UAVs and finds the order in which the DPs are visited in order to minimize the overall time of the mission. the proposed framework is tested on two maps using 70 and 100 sensors and the parallel implementation on GPU of the SSSP allows for a speedup of 39.4x compared to a sequential execution on CPU. © 2021 ieee.

Underwater Wireless sensor Networks (UWSNs) consist of sensor nodes deployed underwater to monitor and collect data on aquatic environments, essential for applications like military surveillance, environmental monitoring, and oil & gas exploration. this research tackles the challenge of energy-efficient communication in UWSNs, which face issues such as limited bandwidth, high signal attenuation and propagation delays due to water currents and temperature variations. the existing Neighboring-Based Energy-Efficient Routing (NBEER) protocol, while useful, overlooks these environmental factors, resulted to inefficient energy use and reduced network performance. To address this, a Dynamic Neighbor Adaptation (DNA) scheme was developed and integrated into NBEER, allowing the protocol to dynamically select Neighbor Head Nodes (NHNs) based on real-time network conditions and environmental factors. this adaptation improves load balancing and network stability. Simulated using MATLAB R2023b, the improved DNA-EERP protocol achieved a reduced end-to-end delay of 47.55s, lower total energy consumption of 9.16J, a higher packet delivery ratio of 83.95%, increased the number of alive nodes to 232, and improved the number of packets received to 26,050. these results demonstrate significant improvements in network stability, energy efficiency, and overall performance.
