With the increasing installed capacity of distributed photovoltaic (PV) in distribution grids, the stable operation of distribution grids is challenged. this paper proposes a PV siting and capacity-setting method that takes dynamic carbon emissions into account, in order to fully exploit the distribution network to achieve low-carbon optimal operation of regional distribution networks through distributed PV under ensuring power quality. From the perspective of carbon emission, the carbon emission flow theory is applied to achieve the carbon emission analysis of each node, and the distributed PV siting and capacity model in the distribution network is constructed with the objective of the carbon emission minimised by the contribution of branch network loss as well as the voltage offset minimised. the modified multi-objective whale algorithm (NWOA) is used to solve the set objectives and realise the siting and capacity of PV. the modified ieee33 node system is used as an example for simulation, and the results verify the validity of the proposed model.

Talking loudly is an infuriating habit in an office environment as well as in industry the machine noise is quiet annoying. the office environment with loud co-workers can distract the work and reduce the work efficiency. the machine noise in an industry environment above 85dBA affects the hearing capacity. To help and solve this issue, a noise detector with instinctive recording device is proposed. this device informs the user about the noise level and whenever the noise level exceeds the limit, it automatically records the sound and its duration. this system finds wide advantage for labors in industry, which provides frequent warning information to the user if the noise limit exceeds. © 2021 ieee.

In industrial systems, sensors are used as key data acquisition devices. Optimizing their performance and functionality is essential for ensuring stable operation and improving system productivity. In order to realize function expansion, performance optimization and security guarantee, parameter updates, and firmware upgrades are indispensable operations. However, traditional methods for parameter updates and firmware upgrades typically rely on manual operations, which has many drawbacks such as low efficiency, high maintenance cost, and a significant risk of errors. these limitations make it difficult to meet the demands for high efficiency and intelligent equipment management in modern industrial systems. We propose a solution for parameter updating and firmware upgrading based on Modbus protocol, designing and realizing related hardware and Supervisory Control Software systems. the system communicates with the Supervisory Control Software through the LoRa module, utilizing the reliability and standardization characteristics of the Modbus protocol to improve the efficiency of parameter updates and firmware upgrades effectively. the research in this paper provides an efficient and reliable realization path for the intelligent management of sensors in industrial systems and provides an important reference for research and application in related fields.

this paper studies the feasibility of reaching consensus in an anonymous dynamic network. In our model, n anonymous nodes proceed in synchronous rounds. We adopt a hybrid fault model in which up to $f$ nodes may suffer crash or Byzantine faults, and the dynamic message adversary chooses a communication graph for each round. We introduce a stability property of the dynamic network - (T, D)-dynaDegree for $T$ ≥ 1 and $n$ - 1 ≥ $D$ ≥1 - which requires that for every $T$ consecutive rounds, any fault-free node must have incoming directed links from at least $D$ distinct neighbors. these links might occur in different rounds during a $T$ - round interval. (1, $n$ -1) -dynaDegree means that the graph is a complete graph in every round. (1, 1) -dynaDegree means that each node has at least one incoming neighbor in every round, but the set of incoming neighbor(s) at each node may change arbitrarily between rounds. We show that exact consensus is impossible even with (1, $n$ - 2) -dynaDegree. For an arbitrary T, we show that for crash-tolerant approximate consensus, (T, ⌊ n/2 ⌋)-dynaDegree and $n$ > 2 $f$ are together necessary and sufficient, whereas for Byzantine approximate consensus, (T, ⌊(n + 3f)/2⌋)-dynaDegree and $n$ > 5f are together necessary and sufficient.

Due to important advancements in hardware manufacturing technology and the creation of effective software algorithms, a wireless sensor network is a system made up of a lot of small, inexpensive sensors that interact wirelessly. this system is now technically and financially practical. the employment of sensor networks in mission-critical environments like combat zones as well as in more commonplace security and business applications like building and traffic surveillance, habitat monitoring, and smart homes, among others, has a lot of promise. Wireless sensor networks, however, provide unique security challenges. Because WSNs are used for so many security-sensitive applications, security is now the top issue for protocol designers who are working on WSNs. We have made an attempt to create a complete list of all known security weaknesses in wireless sensor networks in this study, which also explores a broad range of WSN attacks and their categorization techniques. both the difficulties encountered and the many security methods that may be used to solve them. We tackled the problem in this study and put up a complete, integrated security that would provide security services for all sensor network tasks. It is anticipated to be utilised extensively in the future because of the wireless connectivity, processing power, and sensor technologies it incorporates. A number of security vulnerabilities are present with wireless communication systems.

Interest and research in the field of Wireless sensor Network (WSN) has been on the rise since the last two decades owing to its applications in day-to-day life. Wireless sensor Network consists of a large number of inexpensive and tiny devices called sensor nodes, which help to monitor many remote environments such as forest, habitat, vehicle tracking, etc. these sensor nodes have the capability of communicating with each other using wireless techniques i.e., controlled by routing protocols. Based on the network category, WSN is divided into two types, i.e., "flat network and hierarchical or cluster-based network"[1]. Cluster-based network has many advantages like energy efficiency, good network communication, and better topology system. Clustering algorithm plays a vital role it selecting an optimal cluster head to have effective transmission of data. this cluster head act as a unique node for each cluster in the network which helps to transmit data using less energy consumption. this paper has focused on clustering and cluster head (CH) selection techniques and its parameters which help to reduce energy consumption and to prolong the network lifetime. © 2021 ieee.

this paper proposes a method for estimating the harmonic content of the current demanded by the loads present in a microgrid (MG) through the use of the current injected by an active power filter (APF). the main goal of this approach is to complement the benefits of adding IoT measurements in an MG by speeding up the estimation of the amplitudes of the harmonic distortion caused by the loads. For this purpose, a fast method for the online calculation of the APF reference current is proposed as well as a procedure for monitoring its spectral content. With the aim of demonstrating the validity of the proposed approach, simulation results obtained from a model developed in MATLAB Simulink are shown. As a result, the estimation of the harmonic content is achieved in less than one cycle and its use as an early detection system is demonstrated.

In this paper, we present OVERTAKE, an opportunistic routing protocol for Time-Slotted Channel Hopping (TSCH). OVERTAKE combines (1) opportunistic routing, (2) concurrent transmissions and (3) TSCH. We show that this novel combination enables low-latency, central scheduling withstanding node failures. Our initial results show its ability to withstand node failures of up to 40% of nodes of a flow while keeping minimal latency.

distributed machine learning is essential for applying deep learning models with many data and parameters. Current researches on distributed machine learning focus on using more hardware devices powerful computing units for fast training. Consequently, the model training prefers a larger batch size to accelerate the training speed. However, the large batch training often suffers from poor accuracy due to poor generalization ability. Researchers have come up with many sophisticated methods to address this accuracy issue due to large batch sizes. these methods usually have complex mechanisms, thus making training more difficult. In addition, powerful training hardware for large batch sizes is expensive, and not all researchers can afford it. We propose a dual batch size learning scheme to address the batch size issue. We use the maximum batch size of our hardware for maximum training efficiency we can afford. In addition, we introduce a smaller batch size during the training to improve the model generalization ability. Using two different batch sizes in the same training simultaneously will reduce the testing loss and obtain a good generalization ability, with only a slight increase in the training time. We implement our dual batch size learning scheme and conduct experiments. By increasing 5% of the training time, we can reduce the loss from 1.429 to 1.246 in some cases. In addition, by appropriately adjusting the percentage of large and small batch sizes, we can increase the accuracy by 2.8% in some cases. With the additional 10% increase in training time, we can reduce the loss from 1.429 to 1.193. And after moderately adjusting the number of large batches and small batches used by GPUs, the accuracy can increase by 2.9%. Using two different batch sizes in the same training introduces two complications. First, the data processing speeds for two different batch sizes are different, so we must assign the data proportionally to maximize the overall processing speed. I

Managing the postharvest period for fresh fruits and vegetables is essential for preserving their quality, safety, and shelf-life. Traditional methods often fall short, being inefficient, time-consuming, and susceptible to human error, which leads to significant losses and waste. However, the rise of Internet of things (IoT) technology presents a promising solution. IoT allows for the creation of advanced monitoring and control systems that can manage postharvest processes in real-time. through IoT, various sensors, communication devices, and data analytics tools work together to track important postharvest parameters like temperature, humidity, gas levels, and fruit maturity. this real-time data can help identify potential quality issues promptly and enable corrective actions. the newly developed system uses DHT11 sensors to measure temperature and humidity, transmitting this data to the thingSpeak cloud. It can also adjust the environment to maintain the optimal conditions for fruits like mangoes, tomatoes, and oranges. this system aims to reduce postharvest losses, enhance product quality, and boost the efficiency and sustainability of postharvest operations. this paper outlines the development and benefits of IoT-based postharvest monitoring and control systems for fresh produce. the paper will cover the development of this this system, in addition to the review of developed system.
