In China's warship design, the phase compound excitation generator occupies a large proportion as its power source. the fluctuation of power factor has a great influence on the power quality and efficiency of the generator, and also affects the accuracy of the instruments on board. An effective solution is put forward to eliminate the fault quickly to ensure the normal use of equipment and ship sailing rate. therefore, the mathematical model of the phase compound generator is first established in this paper. In the process of generator use, aiming at the power factor fluctuation problem of a certain type of phase compound excitation generator, a systematic and comprehensive analysis idea is put forward by introducing the magnetic system of this type of phase compound excitation system, and the idea is tested and verified by a real ship, which solves the fluctuation problem.

Edge computing and the Internet of things (IoT) have created a growing demand for low-cost and low-power fieldprogrammable gate arrays (FPGAs) to facilitate rapid and efficient processing. At the same time, spiking neural networks (SNNs) have gained popularity for their capacity to replicate biological processes and efficiently handle temporal data, making them a favorable choice in various IoT applications. However, designers must possess a comprehensive knowledge of FPGA architecture and programming methodologies to fully exploit the potential of FPGAs for SNN implementations. In this work, we propose SpiComp framework aiming to automate the implementation of SNNs on FPGAs, leveraging their reconfigurable nature and high efficiency without requiring domain expertise. Results show that the SNN implementations produced by the framework achieve high throughput and have a small energy footprint compared to other implementations in the literature while providing design automation.

the voltage source converter (VSC) has been widely used in the new power system. Its electromagnetic transient simulation has the characteristics of low simulation speed and high resource consumption. In this paper, the small-step real-time simulator for VSC based on fieldprogrammable gate array (FPGA) is established. Firstly, the fixed-admittance model for VSC is established to improve the calculation speed of the primary system. At the same time, the parallel computing process of the primary system is designed to achieve small-step real-time computing of the primary system for VSC based on the parallel computing architecture of FPGA. Secondly, according to the logic of the control system for VSC, the serial-parallel computing process of the control system is designed, and the controller for VSC is implemented based on FPGA. Finally, the performance of the established FPGA simulator is verified based on the control experiments on PSCAD/EMTDC.
