Intelligent question answering technology is one of the most concerned and widely used research directions in the field of Artificial Intelligence. With the accumulation of massive data, traditional search and query methods cannot meet the military needs for rapid acquisition of high-value information and knowledge. the application of intelligent question answering technology in the current military field lack the real-time accuracy, context understanding, and adaptability needed for dynamic combat situations. For the duty professional work, this paper conducts research on intelligent question answering technology based on duty data. We propose a method for knowledge graph construction and answer retrieval matching technology. Our method integrates and extracts the entities, relationships, and attributes information from the multi-source heterogeneous duty data, which builds the knowledge graph. Based on the knowledge graph, the intelligent question answering for duty achieves more accurate answers by making use of the question analysis and intelligent matching technology. By integrating artificial intelligence technology into the command information system, the intelligence level can be effectively improved to support the competition for the core intellectual power in military field. © 2024 ieee.

this study explores partial discharge (PD) phenomena observed during Near-Power-Frequency (NPF) voltage source tests conducted on 35 kV medium voltage (MV) cable circuits. the research aims to understand how test voltage impacts the occurrence of PDs in the presence of defects on the semiconductor layer of MV terminals. Furthermore, the study utilizes simulations to evaluate the distribution of the electric field across the semiconducting layer and its relationship with the initiation of partial discharge phenomena. © 2024 ieee.

this paper introduces a modified simulated annealing algorithm to study the solar helioscope field optimization problem. the algorithm combines adaptive adjustment, multi-start, and local search techniques to maximize system energy efficiency. through flexible tuning of parameters and multiple runs, the optimal solution is found to maximize the output power. Research not only guides the development of solar collection technology, but also provides methods for evaluating the performance evaluation of solar systems in different environments. In addition, methods and models can be extended to renewable energy and photovoltaic technologies, to support broader sustainable energy research.

In this article, we report fabrication and characterization of tungsten diselenide (WSe2) nano-flowers for Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gas sensing. In this process, Tungsten diselenide (WSe2) nano-flowers were directly synthesized using solvothermal route on FTO coated glass substrate. the nanoflower structure of the directly synthesized film is depicted in FESEM image. the synthesized sample was characterized for its crystallinity and phase purity through X-ray Diffraction (XRD). Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) determined its elemental composition, and field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscopy (FE-SEM) clearly confirmed its nanostructure and surface morphology. these directly synthesized WSe2 nanoflower structures are responsible for enhanced NO2 gas sensing. the fabricated device has shown 45.12% sensing response with 2 ppm gas exposure at -1 V bias (at 120 °C). the selectivity of the fabricated device has also been analyzed with ammonia, acetone, methanol and ethanol. © 2024 ieee.

Over the last decade, field-programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology has made significant strides, notably with Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) pioneering Multi-processor Systems-on-Chip (MPSoC). the addition of RF-class analog technology has further advanced MPSoCs, resulting in Radio Frequency System-on-a-Chip (RFSoC). RFSoCs combine data converters with programmable logic, dedicated processors, and high-speed transceivers, making them ideal for large-N applications in radio astronomy/cosmology experiments. the Raman Research Institute has embarked upon building next-generation digital correlation spectrometers using RFSoC evaluation boards like AMD's ZCU111 and ZCU216, advancing towards a compact, custom-designed third generation RFSoC-based platform named "Cosmology and radio astronomy experiments with RFSoC Integrated Signal Processing" (CRISP). these technological advancements are pivotal for high precision cosmology experiments, detecting subtle signals from recombination and reionization epochs. the paper describes the digital correlation receivers based on evaluation platforms, signal processing firmware, and the architecture of CRISP leveraging Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) attributes.

the holistic and non-destructive insulation reliability assessment of high-voltage (HV) cable assets is continuously paid more attention to supporting the resilience, safety, reliability, and availability of power systems. Clear dynamic physical mechanisms of HV cable assets will be visualized using broadband dielectric spectroscopy (BDS). therefore, this paper aims to present some crucial observations from the high-field BDS of HV polymeric cable assets with composite structures. the influence of two types of voltage excitations (continuous and cyclic) on high-field BDS is analyzed for HV polymeric cable assets with various aging states. It can be found that the BDS memory effect and saturation effect induced by high field are prominent, with a focus on fresh and aged HV cable assets. Finally, the condition-based maintenance strategy and reliability assessment approach based on high-field dynamic mechanisms are provided as an engineering reference for HV polymeric cable assets. the relevant crucial findings can provide a theoretical basis and guidance for the reliability assessment of HV polymeric cable assets. © 2024 ieee.

Multi-pattern string matching is broadly used in many fields of computer science, such as URL filtering, antivirus scanning, intrusion detection in network applications, and DNA searching in biological applications. As business requirements become increasingly demanding, the set of string patterns becomes larger, necessitating efficient multi-pattern string matching techniques to address this issue. this paper proposes a high-speed multi-pattern string matching method based on the combination of Bloom filters and TCAM, which uses a multi-hash Bloom filter for the first stage filtering, then execute precise matching for the second stage utilizing the high-speed parallel search capability of TCAM, and performs general matching algorithm in the last stage for patterns exceeding the TCAM matching width. this matching method was implemented using Arria 10 FPGA and NLA12K TCAM, which can achieve a matching performance of 100Gbps under a scale of 128K string patterns in the application of network packet filtering. © 2024 ieee.

the primary objective of flow field super-resolution technology is to enhance the resolution of flow field data while simultaneously reducing computational resource requirements through computational simulations and data processing methods. Building upon prior research, this study introduces a novel flow field super-resolution method composed of three essential components: an interpolation module, graph data preprocessing, and a graph neural network, referred to as RGHF. Within the interpolation module, the radial basis function interpolation method is employed. Furthermore, a pioneering graph convolution operation named GConv is introduced in the graph neural network and prediction modules. this approach effectively leverages low-resolution data to predict high-resolution data, resulting in reduced computational time while maintaining an acceptable level of precision. Experimental results on the RAE2822 airfoil dataset demonstrate an 81% reduction in computational time, along with robustness across varying flight conditions.

Bipolar charge transport (BCT) models have been used for the past few decades to simulate and analyze charge transport and its associated phenomena in polymeric insulation materials. Whilst in this method primarily, electronic charge carriers are used, recent studies show that there has been a high interest in the addition of ionic charge carriers and their physical processes in the model. Among the byproducts in the crosslinked XLPE, acetophenone is speculated to have deep electron traps and therefore can contribute to the electrical conduction processes in XLPE insulation, leading to charge and field dynamics in XLPE insulation. In this paper, a new model is attempted considering acetophenone for modelling the ions originating from acetophenone molecules, which demonstrates the charge and field dynamics in the insulation. Using the BCT model, combining with the electronic species, the impact of the presence of the ions is discussed. the ionic charge carrier and the neutral molecule are modelled based on Marcus theory. the results reported in this paper draw attention to the charge and field distribution for different ionic concentrations, the effect of thermal gradient and mobilities of the ions. A comparison between the experimental conductivity values from various literature and the proposed model has been done. © 2024 ieee.

this paper designs a sweep signal source based on direct digital frequency synthesis (DDS) technology, realizing arbitrary waveform generation and sweep signal generator circuit. the design integrates the DDS circuit, the control and display circuit of the sweep signal into the FPGA, improving the accuracy, signal-to-noise ratio performance and conversion speed. Compared with the traditional crystal oscillator sweep signal source, this design has the advantages of on-chip integration, small circuit size, strong anti-interference ability, high reliability, etc. In addition, this sweep signal source has two frequency output modes: sweep frequency and point frequency, as well as functions such as frequency measurement and sweep speed control, overcoming the shortcomings of traditional sweep signal sources. the experimental results show that the compression ratio of the ROM table reaches 4: 1. In that ROM only stores 1/4 of the sample value of the sinusoidal periodic signal waveform, and then the FPGA control DAC can be used to output the whole period of the sinusoidal signal, so as to synthesize signals of various waveforms, such as square wave, triangle wave and sine wave. To sum up, this designed sweep signal source has excellent performance and practicability. © 2024 ieee.
