Regular replenishment mode is often used in a supply chain. Corresponding logistics must take into account conditions prevailing in a wide range of practical problems. this primarily relates to a technique for analyzing stochastic processes that determine the movement of inventory in stock. Today, researchers are addressing these logistical problems in varying degrees. However, largely used approaches have heuristic character. the researchers concentrated their attention more on the economic aspects of the problem, rather than on the probability of trouble-free operation of the repository. In the report, the problems associated with the movement and storage of stocks at the terminal with regular completion are considered. As an illustrative example, the movement of petroleum feedstock across the sea port terminal is considered. Stochastic processes in conditions of minimal organizational boundaries are analyzed using the theory of Poisson processes. this allowed obtain quantitative relations for the probabilistic description of surplus and required insurance reserves of oil in storage. this paper presents the dynamic model identification of axial force during the robotic Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process. Due to the large external force exerted on the robot, the natural stiffness of the industrial robot is not, sufficient and the deformation is nonnegligible. thus, two dynamic models of axial force are proposed by using the positioning error along the spindle axis and its changing rate. By means of a nonlinear observer and data, filtering, experimental studies have been carried out on a robot-based FSW system in order to identify the proposed models based on the least, squares (LS) method. the results especially for errors of identified models have been systematically analyzed, showing good performance of the identification. Refurbishing end of life electromechanical products is a value-added operation that provides both economic and environmental benefits. To maximize the benefits from refurbishing, decision making is critical, where the optimized time and the right component for manufacturing are determined. However. there has not been any satisfactory refurbishing decision-making strategy developed. In this paper. a prognostics and health management based method is developed for refurbishment decision making First, components are selected for in-situ monitoring using failure modes. mechanisms and effects analysis. then the remaining useful life for the system is estimated by analyzing the in-situ monitoring data so that the optimized refurbishing time can be determined. Finally, near the end of the system life, certain degraded components are selected via diagnosis, and refurbishment is carried out. the procedure of the method is evaluated by an analysis of the refurbishment of instruments in industrial process control. Using this method, the remaining useful life of electromechanical products can be optimally used, and the cost of refurbishment can be minimized. this paper develops an effective joint production, setup and maintenance control policies in an unreliable one-machine two-products manufacturing system. the main objective is to reach a higher synchronization level of the preventive maintenance (PM) interventions in the planning of production activities. the proposed joint control policy integrates the concept of the opportunistic maintenance by taking advantage of the machine stoppage during setup operations in order to conduct preventive actions. this aims to increase the machine availability and to reduce the risk of shortages. Performance evaluation of the proposed control policy is carried out using a combined continuous/discrete event simulation model. It is subsequently analyzed by statistical techniques of optimization such as design of experiments, analysis of variance and response surface methodology. An illustrative numerical example followed by an in-depth comparison study for a wide range of the system configurations are performed in order to demonstrate the usefulness and the robustness of the results. Automated peg-in-hole assembling approach using Force/Torque sensor and vision system is presented in this research. the complicity of the assembling task due to parts' geometries or position uncertainty in work area are the main factors for the lack of fully automated assembling approaches now in industry and specially in the automotive sector. Based on human operator handling for the assembling of peg-in-hole, an algorithm consists of six phases is developed. In one of the phases a model is created to determine the location of the hole's center during the insertion by using Force/Torque sensor data. the contact forces and torques in each step of the proposed assembling algorithms that was carried by a six degree-of-freedom (DOF) industrial robot is presented. Monitoring of biological and chemical pollutants in large bodies of water requires the acquisition of a large number of in-situ measurement by a mobile sensor platform. Critical to this problem is an efficient path planning method, easily adaptable to different control strategies that ensure the collection of data of the greatest value. this paper proposes a hybrid Genetic Algorithm (GA) based deliberative path planning algorithm using waypoints for a ship navigation trajectory. the algorithm combines many sampling strategies for navigation and collection of samples from different water pollutant classes to fit a suitable objective function. Multi point crossover is employed to produce a global path consisting of good samples segments from many strategies paths. the system has been developed and tested for inland water monitoring and planning the ship trajectory using moderate resolution satellite data. Today's production companies face a variety of challenges arising from increasingly complex and dynamic environments. the advent of pervasive computing has enabled companies to continuously adapt to these changing manufacturing situations. In factories of the future the worker and his or her well-being is seen as a crucial part of manufacturing;situations. these human factors have to be considered in order to achieve sustainable organizational success. Due to advances in the area of wearable sensors, sensing human properties within a manufacturing setting is technically feasible. Sensing human properties, such as the level of comfort or stress, provides additional information. this allows for continuous adaptation of the manufacturing system behavior based on human needs. In this paper, human-aware modeling and the execution of production processes incorporating human properties are illustrated. this is done by applying;the Subject-Oriented Process Management approach in an application scenario. Furthermore, the architecture and the application of the designed system are described with respect to human stress level and dynamic system adaptation. the process of steel-making and continuous casting (SCC) is the bottleneck in the iron and steel production, how to take a quick response and make a good scheduling in a computationally efficient manner are the key factors for iron and steel production manufacturing productivity. In this paper, based on the time-index variables, we established a mixed integer-programming model for the scheduling problem considering the four performance indexes. then, the charge splitting policy based on the relaxation of the no confliction and no break cast are proposed. the polynomial dynamic programming algorithm is presented to solve the corresponding relaxed problems. Based on the above approaches, an approximate optimization method with surrogate subgradient algorithm is proposed to solve the relaxed problem. the method has been tested by using practical data from the Shanghai Baoshan steel plant in China. Computational experiments demonstrate that the model and the algorithms developed can generate the satisfactory solutions and realizes rapidly response for the dynamic change. A major concern in process industry is to improve the quality of final products. this is highly dependent on the raw materials composition and on the industrial processes settings. the main issue in operating these systems is to identify a correlation between the process settings and the quality of the final product. the aim of this work is to first build a model of the industrial process. then we search for a set of parameters in order to minimize an objective function based on the quality of the final product. Since the number of parameters of these processes may be important (several hundred in some instances), we perform a Support Vector machines Regression (SVR) method as multiple regression to model the manufacturing process, based on the input (various settings) and output (product quality) data. the settings optimization using the regression function is done by a heuristic. It is based on an iterative descent method applied iteratively on each parameter. the proposed approach is used on a fluidized bed combustion boiler in the context of paper industry. the experiment confirms the efficiency of the approach. In this contribution, original service-oriented form of structure dynamics control (SDC) and a model for dynamic scheduling of services for Industry 4.0 supply networks is developed. Problem of design and dynamic scheduliiv, of services in cyber-physical systems is stated and solved with the help of SDC, approach. the proposed service-oriented description makes it possible simultaneously to (i) determine the volume of information services needed for physical supply processes, (ii) determine this volume in monetary form, and (iii) interconnect each service with information systems needed for its realization. the results provide a base for performing service scheduling according to actual physical process performance and their adaptation (re-configuration) as well as for monetary estimation of investments into information systems and return on investments.
