Point cloud semantic segmentation is widely used in scene analysis. We propose a point cloud semantic segmentation network based on adaptive random sampling and self-attention. the network extracts local centroids using random sampling, enriches feature information of the centroids using the proposed adaptive optimization module, and then learns correlations and differences between feature vectors using a feature aggregation module based on the self-attentiveness mechanism to make feature cross-fertilization more adequate, which effectively improves the performance of semantic segmentation. Experimental results on S3DIS show that the network consumes less computing time, but improves the Mean Intersection over Union (mIou) by 14.4% and overall accuracy (oAcc) by 6.4% over the baseline network PointNet++. © 2023 IEEE.

Free space optics (FSO) is viewed as a promising contender to enhance and combine with next-generation technologies like 5 G networks. FSO uses light signals to travel through free space. Light signals are modulated by the data signal. Although FSO have numerous benefits but it is adversely affected by weather conditions. this paper presents a brief review on FSO system and the attenuation in response to wavelength and range fluctuations. Effectiveness of FSO has been evaluated under different weather situations like fog, clouds, and rain. © 2023 IEEE.

In this work, the design and simulation of inverter based OTA have been performed using FinFET and CNTFET. Four different combinations of FinFET and CNTFET are used for simulation and comparison: (i) fully FinFET based OTA (ii) OTA using PFinFET as load and NCNTFET as driver (iii) OTA using NFinFET as driver and PCNTFET as load (iv) fully CNTFET based OTA. the proposed design structures are simulated using HSPICE software and key characteristics, like voltage gain, bandwidth has been computed. the gain is highest in the case of fully CNTFET based OTA (46.3 dB) and lowest in PCNTFET-NFinFET based OTA (18.6 dB). the bandwidth is highest in case of fully NCNTFET-PFinFET based OTA (1.61 GHz) and lowest in fully FinFET based OTA (0.23 GHz). Further, the simulation analysis has shown that the performance of the fully CNTFET based OTA can be optimized by changing the pitch value of CNT(S). © 2024 the Author(s).

Making supportive decisions for crop production, such as crop name recommendations and forecasts for crop production, requires machine learning implementation. Numerous machine learning classifiers and algorithms are employed in this. Climatic factors (temperature, rainfall, precipitation, sun radiation, and humidity), edaphic factors (pH, kind, and proportions of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in the soil), and physiographic factors (altitude, steepness of slope, exposure to light, and wind) are some of the variables or factors that influence crop production. However, the most common variables are temperature, soil pH, precipitation, and humidity, and the most common algorithms are Examples of artificial neural networks and deep learning algorithms include Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, Linear Regression, Long Short-Term Memory, Convolution Neural Network, and Deep Neural Network. As part of this study, we reviewed the literature to ascertain the techniques and influencing factors that have been used in agricultural output prediction. © 2024 the Author(s).

this paper explores the feasibility of detecting acts of violence in videos using advanced deep learning and AI techniques. the goal is to provide a straightforward implementation leveraging continuous advancements in technology. the paper emphasizes the importance of violence detection for safeguarding children from inappropriate content and helping guardians make informed viewing choices. the complexity lies in the abstract nature of violence, posing both technical and theoretical challenges. the study focuses on the application of pre-trained convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for a more accessible representation of violence. Transfer learning, a rapid and simplified approach, is employed with pre-trained networks designed for image categorization. the investigation explores various deep learning techniques to identify the most accurate model for violence recognition in video content. © 2024 the Author(s).

Free space optics (FSO) is an advanced technology capable of providing highspeed services in various geographic locations, including mountainous terrain and inter-building networks. However, it is very susceptible to atmospheric conditions, such as rain, which can cause signal degradation. In the proposed study, a hybrid Raman-EDFA optical amplifier and MIMO technology are used to design a WDM-FSO system. this entire communication system is tested in light rain climatic conditions with an attenuation of 7.3 dB/km. Furthermore, the model’s performance is compared to data that has already been presented in the literature, including the Q-factor (8.06428) and BER (2.65704e-016). It is evident that the presented model produces better results when examining parameters such as bit error rate (BER) and the quality factor at the receiver-end, in addition to demonstrating a longer transmission distance. © 2024 the Author(s).

Cardiovascular diseases are becoming more common in today’s times due to unwanted trends in lifestyle. According to research made by the World Health Organization, many short-term deaths globally, accounting for one-third of all deaths four years ago, were caused due to heart strokes, CVD, and respiratory diseases. Early diagnosis of cardiovascular problems is essential to start convenient administration and remedy. An electrocardiogram or ECG is a broadly involved indicative test for evaluating heart conditions. this review paper proposes a pre-evaluation strategy that integrates ECG, internal heat level, and pulse investigation for a person’s well-being. the framework is linked with the patient’s Aadhar card, enabling consistent patient interviews, and improving accuracy and proficiency in determining cardiovascular problems. © 2024 the Author(s).

the Internet based social media platforms being an open community facilitates users to publish anything, anytime anonymously sometimes;resulting rampant use of abusive language in general. Identification of abusive language online is an extremely complex task due to the lack of resources and appropriate approaches. For the past few years, the rate of increase of cyber-bullying and cyber-abuse has increased rumor mongering. this paper aims to target those issues using an ML-based model, which helps to clean and simplify the comments on social media and identify the account and username by which comments are made public. this work identifies hate speech or abusive content in two languages which are- Hindi and English. Further, the developed tool is used to identify offensive language in different fields resulting in an increase in accuracy. We achieved an accuracy of 82.4%, by applying Naïve Bayes along with BoW (Bag of Words). © 2024 the Author(s).

Dental Cavities are most common persistent disorders across the lifespan and are mainly avoidable. Untreated tooth decay can develop in an abscess behind the gums, it's a type of infection that may be spread in to other regions of the mouth or between tooth and cause catastrophic, occasionally fatal consequences. Now days, dental caries is a common tooth decay issue and the people of all generations may be affected from this problem especially children. Because of its increasing incidence, successful intervention measures are required. To provide best care and early detection of cavities, wireless sensor technology has gained popularity in the dental industry. In an effort to avoid and diagnose dental caries in the first stage of cavity, this article suggests innovative and creative approach based on wireless sensors technology, cloud storage for patient data storage, telemedicine. this paper explain different types of sensors used in detection process of dental cavity. through this article, we suggest a sensor technology based dental cavity detection model and explain how we detect dental caries based on collected data by sensors. © 2023 IEEE.
