A coprime array (CA) consisting of two subarrays is of considerable interest in the low redundancy linear array design. As known, discontinuous sensors lead to blurred angle measurements in the difference co-array. this paper proposes an efficient aperture extension method and a matrix completability discriminator based on the undirected adjacency graph of the matrix. First, we construct a zero-filled Hankel matrix with single snapshot signals received from a non-uniform CA. then, we take the low-rank feature as a heuristic and complete the zero-dilled Hankel matrix. At last, the subarrays of the CA are traversed to design the minimum complementable coprime array (MCCA) via the discriminator. By simulation, we verify that the difference co-array of the MCCA can be completed to the maximum virtual aperture of the CA and reduce the noise.

this article describes the challenges of modeling switch fabric traffic that is part of NoC routers. Simulation is often used to validate a NoC design and identify potential performance bottlenecks before implementing hardware. Due to the distributed and complex network topology of routers, arbitration and routing algorithms, etc., timing, buffer queuing, and hence infrastructure performance are difficult to predict. Network traffic also generates application traffic in data processing nodes. When processing NoC traffic, the activity of IP cores is unstable and does not have stationarity, so it is very important to find traffic control mechanisms. Often, well-known models built on the basis of queuing theory do not always correctly reflect the connection request processing logic, do not take into account deadlocks and other features of the system functioning. An approach that can more accurately take into account the nuances of the switch is to build an agent-based model. To create it, we used the Mesa framework implemented in the Python programming language. the switch has small built-in buffers - one for each input. the model used a switch with 5 inputs and 5 outputs. the idea behind switch traffic management is to count how often there are transacts in the internal buffers that are directed to one exit. If they occur frequently enough, then the information flow is split and two or more outputs are given the same identifier to service such transacts in parallel.

the pervasiveness of information and communications technologies, such as 5 G and edge AI, has led to the booming growth of video applications, particularly in the realm of virtual reality (VR). However, due to the random distribution of the video traffic and the fluctuation of the computing power in Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) networks, traditional load balancing strategies lead to high video service response delay and low resource utilization. To this end, this paper designs and implements an adaptive dynamic load-balancing strategy for VR. Based on the performance monitoring function of the Kubernetes (k8s) system, we first utilize the reinforcement learning algorithm TD3 to find the optimal video service allocation at different edge nodes. then, considering the real-time GPU utilization of each edge computing node, the queue length, and the average transmission delay, we jointly optimize the average response delay of users and the work efficiency of nodes. Finally, we evaluate the proposed scheme on a real k8s system. Compared with traditional load balancing strategies, the proposed scheme reduces the latency by $16 \%$ to $52 \%$ and improves the work efficiency by $5 \%$ to $8 \%$.

Small objects detection is a major challenge in computer vision and one well-known example of this is helmet detection. Helmets have a small size, which limits typical YOLO (You Only Look Once) object detection models from efficiently detecting them. Recent studies have focused on modifying several YOLO architectures to propose a solution to this problem. this study provides a comprehensive evaluation of novel solutions that address the helmet detection problem which include modifying multiple YOLO versions. A comprehensive examination of 53 research publications, which were published the period between 2019 to 2023, out of which 30 were included investigates the contributions in terms of model modifications, datasets used for evaluation, loss function optimization, and resulting performance measures. Several YOLO versions are addressed including YOLOv3, YOLOv4, YOLOv5, YOLOv7, and YOLOX. the studies discuss various modifications to YOLO including architecture modifications, integration of attention mechanisms, addition of detection scales, optimization and regularization techniques, loss function Improvements and anchor box optimization. the findings provide insight into the evolution of helmet detection algorithms within the YOLO architecture and how these modifications helped in addressing the problem of small objects detection. this review aims to provide academics and practitioners with significant insights into cutting-edge techniques for overcoming the challenges of identifying small objects as helmets.

Hash is one of the most important algorithms of cryptography, it is widely used in cryptographic primitives, such as digital signature, key exchange and so on. Further, hash cryptography is also the core operation of blockchain technology. With the explosive growth of the number of IoT devices and the rapid development of blockchain technology, the computing performance of hash has received widespread attention. the GPU high-performance computing platforms with a number of arithmetic cores are widely used in cryptographic optimization and acceleration. In this paper, we propose an efficient parallel accelerated framework of SM3 cryptography hash function based on GPU parallel computing devices, short for GPU-based SM3 (G-SM3). Our G-SM3 optimizes the implementation of the hash cryptographic algorithm from three aspects: parallelism, memory access and instructions. On the desktop GPU NVIDIA Titan V, the peak performance of G-SM3 reaches 23 GB/s, which is more than 7.5 times the performance of OpenSSL on a top-level server CPU (E5-2699V3) with 16 cores. On the embedded GPU which consumes less than 40 W, the SM3 throughput reaches 3.8 GB/s, which is even better than the performance of the serverlevel CPU. Based on the same GTX 1080, our performance is 1.12 times that of the fastest known GPU implementation, and the latency is reduced by more than 95%. Compared to other platforms, our G-SM3 has a huge advantage.

the paper aims to solve the problem of surface movement radar (SMR) objects detection in heavy precipitation. From the perspective of enhancing the robustness against rain and snow clutter (RSC), we attribute the resist RSC problem to the edge detection, and added weather switch compared to traditional processing chains. Besides, a modified plot-forming method, termed the Nearest Search DBSCAN (NS-DBSCAN) is proposed. Not only NS-DBSCAN can filter non-object points, but automatic output the radius parameter. It is solved the problem of parameter selection in high-dimensional radar data. Simulation results verify that the proposed approach exhibits higher efficiency in multi objects scenarios, and is highly robust to RSC. Our scheme has significant performance improvement and application prospects of air traffic control (ATC). © 2021 ACM.

this paper considers the possibility of massively parallel solution to the Lambert problem on graphics processing units. Several of the most popular solution algorithms were used for this problem. Software implementation of algorithms under consideration has been developed using Compute Unified Device Architecture technology that allows performing calculations on graphics processing units. A distinctive feature of this project is an attempt to use parallel programming within an iterative scheme. the developed algorithms have been tested on a number of typical tasks: contouring of Earth - Mars direct flight isolines and solution of the problem of a flight to a group of asteroids for the given start date and flight duration. For such tasks we give estimates of execution time and paralleling efficiency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
