this research explores the potential of advanced technologies such as pose detection (PD), augmented reality (AR), object detection (OD), and voice recognition (VR) in creating a game-centric e-learning application for preschoolers. the proposed application, Kidstac, integrates cognitive and physical development through interactive activities with real world interaction, addressing gaps in traditional e-learning methods that often neglect physical engagement. the app features real-time feedback mechanisms and structured modules like virtual zoo explorations, exercise games, treasure hunts, and pronunciation activities. Testing results indicate significant improvements in motor skills, knowledge retention, problem-solving abilities, and language proficiency. these findings demonstrate the effectiveness of blending physical and digital learning experiences to enhance early childhood education. the study establishes a foundation for scalable, activity-based learning tools, emphasizing the holistic development of young learners. © 2025 IEEE.

Sign language recognition is the process of converting hand signals used in the sign format into spoken or written language. It involves analysing and deciphering hand and finger gestures using computer vision and machine learning algorithms, then mapping those actions to corresponding words or phrases. there are various uses for sign language recognition, including facilitating communication between hearing and deaf persons, increasing accessibility for those with hearing loss, and improving sign language interpreting education and training programmes. Training data is diverse, covering different signers, lighting conditions, and backgrounds. Collect data with a variety of signing styles and gestures to improve the model's generalization and generate the sign values as vector format. the way we engage with people who primarily communicate through sign language may change significantly if this technology is used. Sign language can be recognized using a variety of techniques, such as sensor-based techniques, computer vision techniques, and hybrid techniques that combine both. Computer vision algorithms use visual data from cameras to identify hand movements and gestures. Sensorbased methods capture motion and record data by attaching sensors to the hands or fingers. Consequently, it may be possible to investigate various approaches to sign language recognition and predict a better method with a greater accuracy rate. © 2024 IEEE.

In modern education, learning Science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) has become an essential requirement. Physical computing, embedded systems, and Internet of things (IoT) have been widely used in STEM education and the Arduino platform has emerged as a de facto standard for teaching and learning them. However, with the recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), students are tempted to over-relay on Large Language Models (LLMs). As a result, the auto-generation of software source codes by students using LLMs has become a significant threat to achieving the Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) of their course of study. Unlike standard software source code developed for general-purpose computing, firmware developed for the Arduino platform directly interacts with hardware components and consists of specific syntaxes. As a result, existing AI-based Auto Code Detectors underperform in detecting auto-generated source code for the Arduino platform. this paper presents an approach for detecting LLM-generated firmware source code for the Arduino platform using code stylometry features. the proposed approach evaluates lexical and syntactic features to differentiate LLM-generated and human-written firmware source codes for the Arduino platform. the results demonstrate a significant mean accuracy of 0.91, indicating that the proposed approach can accurately classify whether code is written by a human or generated by an LLM. © 2025 IEEE.

Non-orthogonal multiple access networks inspired by cognitive radio technology can enhance energy efficiency and address the issue of spectrum resource scarcity. However, resource allocation strategies are still needed for optimization. this paper applies deep reinforcement learning (DRL) algorithms to optimize transmission strategies. We propose a DDPG algorithm integrated with elastic experience replay, which helps the agent strike a better balance between exploring new strategies and utilizing existing experiences. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves a higher transmission rate compared to the standard DDPG algorithm, random algorithm and greedy algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.

As urbanization and globalization increase, air quality in many parts of the world is deteriorating and need quick action. Many cities have unacceptable levels of particulate matter and gaseous pollution, exceeding government and WHO guidelines. Continuous air pollution exposure increases the prevalence and mortality of respiratory disorders like asthma and COPD. Data preparation, feature extraction, and model training are the study's three steps. A neighbor-based feature scaling method prepares data for processing. Feature selection removes superfluous data before model training. the sophisticated architecture of the CTransNet model speeds up training. this strategy outperforms others, notably for attention-based models and CNNs. the model's 93.56% accuracy beats stateof-the-art alternatives. these findings demonstrate that the proposed technique can accurately predict air quality, which could enhance health by warning of imminent pollution. © 2025 IEEE.

Recently, spectrum sensing algorithms based on convolutional neural networks have achieved excellent performance. However, most existing algorithms rely only on features from the highest convolutional layer, potentially limiting further performance improvements. To address this, this paper proposes an attention cross-layer fusion network for enhanced spectrum sensing. the designed fusion module adaptively combines multilayer features via attention mechanisms, effectively preserving critical details while leveraging high-level semantic information. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms classical spectrum sensing algorithms. Notably, the proposed algorithm achieves a detection probability of 98.2% with a false alarm probability of 10% at SNR = -18dB. © 2025 IEEE.

this research explores the design of smart washing machine interfaces, aiming to improve universality and user experience. the study involved 32 participants from different age groups who tested a prototype interface developed using Axure and Figma software. Eye tracking technology and subjective preference questionnaires were used to analyze user differences and preferences. Results showed that both age groups performed better with a list-based interface layout. Younger users preferred single-color interfaces and flat icons, while older users preferred interfaces with adjacent colors, realistic icons, and sound feedback. Designers and engineers should consider these findings to improve product universality and optimize user experience. © 2024 IEEE.

Technological advancements can have powerful impact on the economic growth of agriculture in India. Areca nut farming is one such terrain of agriculture where investment in technology and automation can elevate the profit from farming by bringing down production cost. Areca nut is the major crop of Karnataka having roots in fifteen different districts. the grading and sorting of areca nuts is an important step in the production of areca nuts and is traditionally done by man power. People are trained to identify good and bad areca nuts, but the time taken for sorting areca nuts is more and it is not feasible for a large quantity of areca nuts. In order to minimize the time consumed, this method is introduced which classify the areca nuts into four different grades based on their quality. © 2024 IEEE.

this paper proposes a tri-wideband reflective linear-to-circular polarization metasurface. the top layer is composed of bi-directional arrow patches containing gaps of unequal lengths and widths of unequal lines symmetric about the u and v axes. Both the top patch and the bottom metal floor are copper-coated, while the dielectric substrate is made of F4B. By modifying the short arrow lines to create gaps, a wider variety of resonant modes are excited, which is advantageous for designing a tri-wideband metasurface. the dimensions of the reflective metasurface cell are 7 mm × 7 mm × 1.524 mm. the metasurface achieves 3 dB axial ratio bandwidths are 8.4-11.22 GHz (28.75%), 14.2-19.36 GHz (30.75%), and 22.52-30.1 GHz (28.81%), achieved tri-wideband linear-to-circular polarization conversion function. Simulation results also show that the metasurface has good angular stability within 20°. © 2025 IEEE.
