Phishing is a deceptive process on the internet which involves forming of fake web pages to trick people into sending confidential information to the phisher. these websites are made to appear real in order to trick people. the goal of this research is to enhance the detection of phishing websites by classifying our websites using a variety of methods. Phishing uses email fraud as the foundation for misleading emails, then uses fake sites to get the necessary information from the target audience. Education is essential in combating cybercrimes related to phishing attacks. Various research has reported on the prevention, detection, and understanding of phishing harms;however, a comprehensive and effective method to mitigate them is currently lacking. To combat this, the suggested solution involves based a dataset with phishing URLs that was received from a reliable Kaggle source, collected from 11,000 websites in vectorized form. Well-known machine learning algorithms include logistic regressions (LR), support vector machines (SVM), decision trees (DT), and an ensemble hybrid model that combines grid search, soft voting, and canopy feature selection is used for improving the phishing detection in the system. Additionally, to evaluate the approach different parameters like precision, accuracy, recall, F1-score to illustrate the efficiency of the model. the accuracy yielded as 97.9 percentage and demonstrates that the proposed approach is more efficient than other existing models. © 2024 IEEE.

Smart farming has become increasingly reliant on the integration of internet of things (IoT) devices and data analytics to optimize production processes and reduce resource waste. However, secure access to sensitive data and the efficient sharing of information among stakeholders in this context remain a challenge. To address this, we propose a semantically enriched access control architecture for smart farms, which enriches access requests with semantic smart farm information derived from smart farm-specific ontologies before evaluation. Additionally, we explore the feasibility of deploying the proposed ABAC architecture on the edge area, which makes it suitable for distributed environments like smart farms. Our proposed approach improves the accuracy of access control decisions and reduces the complexity of policy management tasks while taking into account the smart farm's nature limitations. To validate our approach, we evaluate it through a case study that simulates access control scenarios in a smart farm. Our results show that the proposed approach significantly enhances access control decision-making in smart farming environments.

Mining 4.0 signifies a paradigm shift within the mining sector and is defined as an all-encompassing strategy for industry revolution by optimizing mining processes through the utilization of digital technologies, automation, and data analytics to streamline processes. Mining 4.0 aims to develop intelligent and networked mining systems that enhance resource utilization, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate environmental harm, all while prioritizing the safety and welfare of workers. the process of mining digitization encompasses the methodical collection, management, and monitoring of data derived from diverse sources, including sensors, equipment, vehicles, and more. It permits remote, realtime monitoring of environmental and operational conditions, as well as the integration of control systems designed to optimize and automate processes. With digital transformation, the mining sector aspires to overcome conventional obstacles and adjust to changing market requirements, therefore facilitating a more sustainable and efficient future. A critical challenge in the process of digitizing the mining sector is the need to provide reliable routes for transmitting and communicating data between physical and digital components within mining environments. this paper examines the convergence of Mining 4.0 and mining digitization, with a specific emphasis on the pivotal role that remote sensing, edge computing, and decentralized communication systems play in data transmission and real-time monitoring in light of enhancing mining operations' safety and efficiency. the study performed puts forward a European solution based on open standards and tools, revolving around an Industrial internet of things (IIoT) Gateway that is a core component of the proposed communication system. this gateway will function as an intermediary between the edge and cloud-based platforms and will facilitate real-time monitoring through the establishment of resilient wireless communi

the widespread adoption of Artificial Intelligence applications to analyze data generated by internet of things sensors leads to the development of the edge computing paradigm. Deploying applications at the periphery of the network effectively addresses cost and latency concerns associated with cloud computing. However, it generates a highly distributed environment with heterogeneous devices, opening the challenges of how to select resources and place application components. Starting from a state-of-the-art design-time tool, we present in this paper a novel framework based on Reinforcement Learning, named FIGARO (reinForcement learnInG mAnagement acRoss the computing cOntinuum). It handles the runtime adaptation of a computing continuum environment, dealing with the variability of the incoming load and service times. To reduce the training time, we exploit the design-time knowledge, achieving a significant reduction in the violations of the response time constraint.

Infrared imaging is the main method for detecting power equipment and a key means to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid. Traditional infrared imaging devices are bulky, inconvenient to carry, and unfriendly to operate, which affects their practical application effectiveness. In recent years, infrared imaging online detection and portable infrared imaging technology have been continuously developed, and advanced technologies such as 'big cloud moving intelligence' have been rapidly applied, providing new ideas for infrared imaging detection. this article proposes mobile phone infrared imaging detection and perforated infrared imaging online detection technology solutions based on the characteristics of overhead lines and distribution station buildings in the distribution network, and designs an infrared imaging detection architecture based on cloud edge collaborative distribution equipment. Based on the cloud/edge collaboration mechanism, the inference calculation is moved forward to edge devices such as edge gateways or mobile phones. the model is trained in the cloud, and the model algorithm is updated before being distributed and deployed to the edge, reducing network transmission and cloud computing pressure. the cloud/edge updates independently. Finally, experiments have shown that the infrared imaging detection architecture for power distribution equipment based on cloud/edge collaboration effectively reduces network transmission load and cloud computing pressure, is easy to operate, and has good implementation effects. It provides a new solution to solve the series of problems existing in existing infrared imaging detection. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper gives a distributed deep getting-to-know (DDL) architecture for 5G community cutting. DDL is an allotted method which has been a success in schooling massive-scale deep mastering fashions. It applies the ideas of disbursed computing to reduce the dimensions of the statistics being trained at the same time as education samples in parallel on different computing assets. the proposed solution in this paper exploits the improvements in 5G networks' virtualization skills, which include community cutting, to provide a green architecture which allows DDL fashions to be taught with dispensed resources to limit the training time. the proposed structure consists of three predominant modules: a useful resource-cutting manager, a dispensed training cluster, and a dispensed inference cluster. the resource-reducing manager allows dynamic aid cutting throughout numerous assets (e.g. GPU, CPU). the distributed schooling cluster includes workers distributing the training duties across the sources. the allotted inference cluster is used to perform inference on the trained fashions throughout more than one allotted computing source. the advantages of the proposed structure are that it allows green disbursed schooling, green disbursed inference, and value-green education of complex deep gaining knowledge of models. As such, it may be used to educate huge and complex models with decreased prices and also boost the schooling throughput. Additionally, 5G community cutting presents flexibility in useful resource provision. ©2024 IEEE.

the internet of things (IoT) plays a significant role in shaping different aspects of our lives. IoT devices have become increasingly important due to their ability to connect, collect, and analyze data, automate processes, improve safety and efficiency, and deliver personalized experiences. However, the advancement in quantum computer development poses a significant threat to resource-constrained IoT devices. this new generation of computers can break the classic public-key cryptographic schemes and digital signatures implemented in these IoT devices. While protecting IoT devices from quantum computer attacks poses many challenges, researchers are continuously making significant progress in developing lightweight post-quantum cryptographic algorithms for efficient key exchange mechanisms and digital signature algorithms tailored to IoT devices to overcome this issue. this paper proposes Q-SECURE, a post-Quantum resistant Security Enhancing Cryptography for Unified Resource-constrained device Encryption. A novel scheme that enables any IoT system to leverage the assistance of other devices in the network to gain the capability to generate any proposed post-quantum cryptographic key of a given size using distributed and parallel computing.

the integration of the internet of things (IoT) into vehicular networks has paved the way for the exciting development of the internet of Vehicles (IoV) within Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). these breakthroughs bring about enhancements in urban transportation services, including improved quality and interaction, reduced costs, more efficient resource utilization, and enhanced traffic management capabilities. the incorporation of IoV into transportation has the potential to address various traffic-related challenges in smart cities. Nevertheless, optimizing routing and monitoring network traffic presents significant challenges, primarily due to limited node-to-node communication capabilities. To tackle these problems, this study proposes the BiLSTM-GreedyNet, which combines the Improved Greedy Perimeter Stateless Routing Algorithm with the Bi-LSTM neural network technology in a 5G network environment. the system delivers impressive results, as evidenced by simulations in MATLAB, boasting a remarkable 98.22% accuracy rate, a low 34.2 MJ energy consumption, and a high Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) of 91%, all tested with a network of 100 nodes. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Digital Twins and the internet of things (IoT) are two of the most prominent recent concepts and technologies. the IoT supports many applications that merge the physical with the cyber world. this highlights the need for improved security. Here, we argue that digital twins can help in securing and strengthening the IoT by using them for interacting with the actual IoT devices. While most digital twins implementations are centralized, we propose to integrate distributed Ledger technologies (DLTs) and digital twins into the IoT to realize decentralized, secure, available, flexible, and auditable blockchain-based IoT services for IoT devices that follow the W3C Web of things (WoT) standards. In this work, we present the design of SmartTwin, a blockchain-based digital twin framework for which we provide two different implementations using two different blockchains, we present the design trade-offs, and we discuss future research and development directions.
