Today, there is a growing acceptance of the internet of things (IoT). In addition, for Technology devices to better serve the expanding need for network devices or the services provided, a few major obstacles still require special attention. this new technology has enormous promise in the most varied technical fields and may considerably aid in realizing the IoT technologies vision in several ways, including by boosting the capacity for decentralization, simplifying interaction, enabling transaction models, or promoting autonomous device coordination. In order to help the issues related to cyberstalking technology plays important role like blockchain, big data. the objective of this article is to explain the fundamentals of big data & blockchain technology, as well as how they may be utilized to protect stalkers security and safety. then, introduce the stalker, as selfish miner variation whose goal is to stop a node from publishing any blocks mostly on main chain. © 2022 IEEE.

this paper proposes a distributed Software Architecture (DSA) for Smart Building (SB) based on the Reactive Manifesto (RM) principles. To follow the RM principles, we analyze the usage of different deployment approaches, particularly the impact of using a container orchestrator on the application layer. After running performance tests on the different configurations, the container orchestrator usage led to enhanced distributed processing, lowering the latency, increasing flexibility, enhancing security, and providing cost-effectiveness and scalability. We introduce the implementation of a modern DSA, developed following state-of-the-art cloud patterns and compliant with the RM for the SB context. Furthermore, we have ensured the reproducibility of this implementation by making the initial tests and overall architecture code available in public repositories. the research follows the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology for elaborating each phase until we get the artifact (DSA) and, with this, contribute to the Knowledge Base. the architecture was properly tested, considering the performance as the principal test layer. this solution is tailored for application in domains of the internet of things (IoT), focusing on the SB and a case study involving the Laboratory of distributed Systems and Concurrent Programming (LaSDPC) at Sao Paulo University. Moreover, its applicability extends to IoT domains like smart home, smart campus, smart city, and health-related applications. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

internet-of-things is one of the prominent communication technologies in the 21st century. We can connect everyday objects, like baby monitors, thermostats, e-health, etc., Connecting IoT with Software-defined networking is the best approach to security provisioning during network communication. Because the enormous features of SDN are programmable and centralized management, attackers can create multiple security vulnerabilities in SDN that redeem the distributed denial-of-service attack. this security breach causes bandwidth depletion and server resource impoverishment and perplexes benign users. this study proposes and builds a DDoS attack detection and mitigation defense system for SDN to address this issue. Two different defense modules are deployed in the SDN controller: suspicious identification, and mitigation of the malicious traffic flow. the first module of the SDN defense system used for detecting malignant traffic from DDoS attacks which works under a CNN-ELM is an integrated deep learning approach that combines a convolutional neural network with an extreme learning machine. the suspicious flows are identified, whether benign or malignant, by using a hybrid CCN-ELM model, and this process improves the accuracy of the attack detection. the second module of the mitigation strategy identifies the attacker's location by using IP traceback and removes that malicious traffic by transmitting the flow rule from the controller. these two SDN defense modules are evaluated by simulation processes. Finally, the experimental results of the SDN defense system, precisely detect the DDoS attack with an accuracy of 99.85% and efficiently mitigate the malicious traffic flow in real-time. © 2024 ACM.

A network's traffic can be monitored by an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), which then sends out warnings if any malicious behavior is detected. It's a program that checks if a website link leads to malicious content or if there was a policy violation on the network. As a case study for IDS, identifying phishing websites has been performed. One of the most effective tools for hackers to carry out a variety of security attacks is the widespread distribution of fake website Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) via messages, email, etc., with the goal of fooling unaware consumers into providing over sensitive information or worse. Traditional methods for detecting phishing websites, such as employing blacklists, are used to make predictions about phishing URLs. Traditional solutions based on blacklists are not effective at predicting many phishing websites, because so many new ones are created and released on the internet every day. three distinct Artificial Intelligence (AI) models-Random Forest (RF), Naive Bayes (NB), and XGBoost-are used to accurately detect dangerous URLs. Both the authentic and the fraudulent URLs were obtained from various sources. the AI model is trained with the retrieved relevant features. Following this, performance indicators are used to assess the quality of the AI models. According to the outcome of the testing data, the XGBoost model achieved a maximum accuracy of 96.98%, which is higher than the accuracy of the remaining models tested. then the XGBoost model has been finalized and deployed as a website, anyone can immediately recognize the phishing URL. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid advancement of space communication technology, the integrated space-air-ground-sea network demonstrates tremendous potential applications in various fields. Particularly in remote areas where traditional base station is almost unable to be established, satellite communication provides an optimal solution to address communication difficulties. Meanwhile, the continuous expansion of data scale makes the traditional end-to-end transmission mode of TCP/IP unsuitable to satellite communication. To address this issue, this paper proposes a multi-layer Satellite internet of things (SIoT) architecture based on Information-Centric Networking (ICN) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technologies, namely Information-Defined Satellite Network (IDSN). In the designs of satellite routing networks and ground-to-ground networks, the controller primarily integrates with ICN at the application layer, developing ICN-related services such as name resolution, name routing, and content caching to achieve intelligent data management. To enhance the compatibility of network infrastructure, IP protocol is reused, enabling effective differentiation between ICN request and IP request in the OpenFlow protocol. Layered and distributed controller deployment, and layered naming make the architecture more intelligent. Experimental results illustrate that the proposed framework can efficiently realize ICN caching features while simultaneously reducing latency. © 2024 IEEE.

this research survey presents a comprehensive analysis of IoT architectures that incorporate edge computing, examining their classifications, applications, and the challenges and limitations associated with their implementation. the survey also explores future directions and trends in IoT architectures that leverage edge computing, including 5G integration, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) advancements, edge virtualization, edge security, and improved interoperability. the research study highlights the potential of IoT architectures that utilize edge computing to address the challenges posed by traditional cloud-centric architectures while also acknowledging the key challenges and limitations that need to be overcome. By examining the current state of the field and emerging trends and technologies, this survey aims to provide a valuable reference for researchers, practitioners, and industry stakeholders working on the development and implementation of IoT solutions incorporating edge computing. © 2023 IEEE.

Health information needs are also changing the information-fetching behavior, and that is observed around the globe. In this paper author has suggested the possibility of combining edge computing and machine learning algorithms into an internet of medical things architecture focused on distributed computing. the paper is divided in two parts, First, the author proposed a model for collecting data usually produced by the front-end sensor frameworks on internet of medical things devices using Edge computing and protocols such as Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT). Secondly, the author attempted to predict a disease correctly by looking at the patient's symptoms. Four diverse Machine learning algorithms K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Naïve Bayes, Decision tree, Random forest tree, were tested. the data set was collected from 2537 patients from the Apollo hospitals of India. To measure the performance, various performances metric is involved, and random forest gives the accuracy of 91%. © 2022 IEEE.

Since the beginning of the pandemic 2020, educational system in every country has offered and introduced new technologies and instruments for distance education. Each school independently chose an internet platform through which distance learning was organized. Parents and children are worried about internet connection and their speed because there are problems with it everywhere, in urban and rural areas, also regarding technology. the results of distance learning in Kazakhstan during the pandemic indicate the insufficient effectiveness of national telecommunications networks. the author of the article has experience in teaching distance learning technologies at universities and outlines the problems and basic requirements for the organization of the educational process with the use of distance educational technologies in the Republic of Kazakhstan, namely, the practical questions based on what standards and rules, whereby and how to execute them in the organization of education including a primary school. the author provides a comparative study of learning management systems used in Kazakhstan education and suggests that a future task is the identification of the student in distance learning, which can be performed using facial recognition of students during authorization. Furthermore, the author plans to conduct a questionnaire survey among teachers, which will demonstrate the situation during distance learning in computer science lessons at primary schools. these practical issues will help to avoid the main distance learning problems of schoolchildren. the present paper is useful for teachers and school management in the implementation and control of educational activities. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

A million qubit-scale quantum computer is essential to realize the quantum supremacy. Modern large-scale quantum computers integrate multiple quantum computers located in dilution refrigerators (DR) to overcome each DR's unscaling cooling budget. However, a large-scale multi-DR quantum computer introduces its unique challenges (i.e., slow and erroneous inter-DR entanglement, increased qubit scale), and they make the baseline error handling mechanism ineffective by increasing the number of gate operations and the interDR communication latency to decode and correct errors. Without resolving these challenges, it is impossible to realize a fault-tolerant large-scale multi-DR quantum computer. In this paper, we propose a million qubit-scale distributed quantum computer which uses a novel error handling mechanism enabling fault-tolerant multi-DR quantum computing. First, we apply a low-overhead multi-DR error syndrome measurement (ESM) sequence to reduce both the number of gate operations and the error rate. Second, we apply a scalable multi-DR error decoding unit (EDU) architecture to maximize both the decoding speed and accuracy. Our multiDR error handling SW-HW co-design improves the ESM latency, ESM errors, EDU latency, and EDU accuracy by 3.7 times, 2.4 times, 685 times, and 6.1 center dot 10(10) times, respectively. With our scheme applied to assumed voltage-scaled CMOS and mature ERSFQ technologies, we successfully build a fault-tolerant million qubit-scale quantum computer.
