Cloud computing has created a new concept to deal with software services and hardware infrastructure. Some benefits are immediate;for instance, it allows students to share their information easily and to discover new experiences in the education system. However, despite the comprehensive literature, there are still limited studies related to the applied factors that influence the adoption of cloud technology at pre-tertiary education institutions. this paper attempts to enhance the understanding of related factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing in the educational context of developing nations. Also, an interpretive paradigm with a quantitative research method to investigate the main enablers of and barriers to cloud computing adoption at Malaysian Institutions. Six factors are studied in this study namely, Awareness, Network Connectivity, Scalability, Data Security, Staff Training and Budget. A questionnaire survey was conducted with a select group of educators from pretertiary educational private and public institutions in Malaysia. the educators gauge their opinions on the level of significance of each factor affecting cloud computing in their institution using a 5-point scale. Out of 100 questionnaire sets distributed using Google Forms, 70 valid responses were extracted as the collected data. this data was analyzed descriptively. the results of the analysis found that most of the public schools do not have reliable and stable internet connections and private school internet connections are somewhat reliable which affects most schools that do not adopt cloud computing as well. Limited finance resources and concerns about data privacy and infrastructure stability are other considerable factors that have made the institution not adopt cloud computing till now. the impact of this research will be felt simultaneously to guide institutions in developing strategies and policies that promote successful cloud computing adoption.

In the era of Big Data, cultivation is undergoing radical change due to the arrival of cutting-edge technology such as internet of things (IoT) detectors, drones, and farm monitoring. IoT systems create massive amounts of valuable extracted data and cutting-edge application technologies make it possible to actually gather and analyze this data. this technological synergy, known as 'smart cultivation,' allows many participants in the agricultural sector to increase farm and business revenue with real-time plant analysis and effectiveness with minimal effort. Although several academic and commercial precision agricultural technologies have been developed, it is unfortunately impossible to implement these tactics on all farms at once. Most of these programmes are built on top of a semi-public, proprietary big data processing infrastructure. the CBSC (Cloud Based Smart Cultivation) system is recommended throughout this paper. the framework provides a comprehensive structure for dealing with the challenges of factual and batch-based data collection, analysis, storage, and visualization of extremely huge datasets. In fact, a preliminary version has been created and tested extensively across several disciplines with encouraging outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

this research presents a comprehensive system for web scraping from open internet sources, offering an efficient means of acquiring data from online. the goal of this research study is to develop an innovative framework capable of efficiently extracting a wide range of data from various open internet sources. the aim is to create a scalable and adaptive solution that can dynamically adjust to different websites' structures and data formats, enabling comprehensive data collection for diverse purposes such as research, analysis, and decision-making. By addressing the challenges associated with web scraping, such as scalability, adaptability, and data diversity, the paper seeks to advance the field and provide a valuable tool for extracting valuable insights from the vast landscape of online information. through a combination of scraping methodologies including headless surfing, API integration, and HTML parsing, the proposed system enables systematic data retrieval, facilitating the extraction of valuable insights from diverse webpages. Improving efficiency and scalability through technologies like distributed computing and optimized network infrastructure is crucial for handling large-scale data extraction tasks.

Using internet of things (IoT) devices has become more efficient and convenient, but it has also increased the potential of security breaches, particularly from ransomware and distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) assaults. this study looks into the ever-changing threats posed by ransomware on the internet of things, emphasizing human-centered detection and mitigation techniques. It highlights attack methods like supply chain breaches and device exploitation that jeopardize privacy and service continuity. To enhance IoT security, a deep neural network-based approach is proposed for automated reaction and real-time monitoring. the superior precision and efficacy of the suggested approach in mitigating ransomware and DDoS assaults in contrast to existing techniques underscores the significance of robust security protocols and active stakeholder engagement. this paper's goal is to provide a thorough study of these dangers along with a novel solution that will improve security protocols in IoT ecosystems. this study seeks to close the gap between sophisticated technological protections and workable, user-oriented tactics by highlighting the need of human-centered approaches, guaranteeing that IoT devices continue to be dependable and safe in an increasingly interconnected world. this study emphasizes the vital need for an integrated strategy to IoT security that incorporates both cutting-edge technology and proactive human engagement through thorough evaluation and suggested solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

the 6G era is expected to bring a new level of advancement to communication networks with the development of technologies such as mobile-edge-computing, AI-at-the-edge, CML, MCL, and distributed and federated AI. these technologies aim to provide high-speed, low-latency, and reliable connectivity to meet the growing demand for advanced communication solutions. Mobile-edge computing and AI at the edge will play a key role in reducing latency and improving the efficiency of 6G networks by enabling data processing at the network's edge. CML and MCL will integrate ML into communication networks, improving their performance and reliability. distributed and federated AI will revolutionize how data is processed and shared, allowing organizations to pool their resources and expertise to develop more accurate and efficient ML models. However, these exciting opportunities also come with challenges, such as ensuring the reliability and security of AI algorithms, developing new standards and protocols to support the complex networks and use cases of 6G, and making the technology accessible and affordable for all users. Despite these challenges, the growth of the digital economy and the increasing demand for advanced communication technologies will continue to drive the development of 6G technologies, leading to the creation of more efficient, secure, and reliable communication networks. this paper presents a comprehensive review of emerging technologies in V2X communication and Vehicular Edge computing (VEC) for sustainable internet of Vehicles (IoV) in the 6G era. the paper employs the PRISMA method to systematically identify, screen, select, synthesize, and report relevant literature. the objective is to identify and discuss key technologies, assess challenges and opportunities, analyze potential impacts on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, and provide recommendations for future research directions. Challenges analysed include both technical and non-technical challenges and oppportunities include both societal benefits as well as industry opportunities. Finally and based on these findings, future research directions are proposed for striving towards sustainable IoV. © 2023 IEEE.

thanks to the IoT, our everyday lives are now more accessible, connected, and convenient than ever before. Because it facilitates the effortless transfer of massive amounts of data between interconnected devices, it leaves the network vulnerable to various forms of intrusion and attack. As the number of interconnected devices grows, the need for reliable attack detection systems to forestall malicious actions becomes paramount. this paper introduces a strategy for detecting attacks on the internet of things (IoT) that integrates Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) models. this paper introduces a model for an artificial neural network that uses genetic algorithms to detect attacks on the internet of things. While the GA adjusts the hyperparameters of the ANN model, the ANN model is responsible for determining whether network traffic is malicious or not. To evaluate the proposed system, an internet of things network traffic dataset was utilized. As demonstrated by the outcomes, the system has a commendable rate of detection. the system can spot DoS attacks. the results show that our method is great at finding attacks on the internet of things. we achieved a 99.3 percent accuracy rate with our suggested ANN with GA. © 2024 IEEE.

the fast-paced growth in the population has contributed to the generation of more solid waste. the increased waste generation and incorrect waste disposal harm the environment and transmit infectious diseases. the conventional garbage management system lacks information on the status of installed bins, leading to overflowing bins and improper management of collection trucks. Moreover, the traditional system spends enormous resources on labor management to monitor and manage garbage collection. this research work proposes a Smart Garbage Management System (SGMS) to automate the real-time monitoring of garbage bins and the garbage collection process. the proposed system is based on the internet of things (IoT) and related communication technologies. the proposed system is enabled with sensors to provide real-time monitoring of the garbage bins. this information is then shared with a central console by avoiding bin overloading. the proposed system reduces labor-related overheads and helps to maintain the environment clean and pollution free. © 2023 IEEE.

Transportation is one of the main sectors responsible for negative environmental impacts. Integrating emerging technologies can help provide real-time, resilient, and intelligent solutions that are necessary for decarbonizing road transport. this paper presents a novel framework that combines the internet of things (IoT), Edge computing, and Cloud computing to deliver sustainable and efficient transportation solutions. the proposed framework facilitates the development of smart transportation applications that envision an efficient way of reducing emissions, optimizing traffic flow, and improving overall transportation efficiency by leveraging the huge storage and computational power of Cloud computing and the real-time data processing capabilities of Edge computing. In addition, the virtual sensor is employed by the framework in order to reduce the adaptability, interoperability, and heterogeneity constraints in the IoT environment. this paper examines the shortcomings of current systems, highlights the essential elements of the framework, and assesses the framework’s effectiveness in providing effective and efficient smart transportation services. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.
