Due to the limited monitoring coverage, the low-voltage distribution network has been in the monitoring blind spot. In the low-voltage distribution system, as a large number of distributed power sources and flexible loads are connected to the grid, the operation and control of the distribution substations are facing severe challenges. In internet of things (IoT) perception environment, by the low-voltage distribution substations with the functions of panoramic perception, edge computing, communication and data center platform, it proposes an initiative solution to the problem of monitoring blind spots and isolated islands of information. Faced with a large number of devices connected to the power IoT, the device model of the power IoT is established, which supported the efficient operation of the rule engine. In the cloud, the devices in the physical space are digitized and standardized, the data communicated between the device and the cloud is formatted, and the data storage is structured. In the cloud, the data model of the device is built, which facilitates the analysis of data collected by the terminal device and cooperates with the rule engine to achieve device linkage.

Blockchain technology can be used to track billions of interconnected devices, enabling secure data exchange and data processing. the decentralized and autonomous ability of the blockchain makes it an ideal solution for internet of things(IoT) applications. In this paper, we explore a basic IoT-Blockchain fusion model with four layers which contains different types of IoT devices. distributed file system is considered in the model to store huge amount of IoT data. then, a case study for blockchain-based IoT application, a Machine-to-Machine(M2M) autonomous trading system, is proposed on the Ethereum blockchain. We build smart contracts for device registration, data storage, service provision and fair payment, and the proof-of-concept is implemented using two Raspberry Pis to interact with smart contracts. the proposed system verifies that blockchain could improve IoT applications in transparency, traceability and security.

In today's world the number of consumers of cloud computing is increasing day by day. So, security is a big concern for cloud computing environment to keep user's data safe and secure. Among different types of attacks in cloud one of the harmful and frequently occurred attack is distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. DDoS is one type of flooding attack which is initiated by sending a large number of invalid packets to limit the services of the victim server. As a result, server can not serve the legitimate requests. DDoS attack can be done by a lot of strategies like malformed packets, IP spoofing, smurf attack, teardrop attack, syn flood attack, local area network denial (LAND) attack etc. this paper focuses on IP spoofing and LAND based DDoS attack. the objective of this paper is to propose an algorithm to detect and prevent IP spoofing and LAND attack. To achieve this objective a new approach is proposed combining two existing solutions of DDoS attack caused by IP spoofing and ill-formed packets. the proposed approach will provide a transparent solution, filter out the spoofed packets and minimize memory exhaustion through minimizing the number of insertions and updates required in the datatable. Finally, the approach is implemented and simulated using CloudSim 3.0 toolkit (a virtual cloud environment) followed by result analysis and comparison with existing algorithms. © 2019 IEEE.

Vertex graph coloring (VGC) is a well known problem in graph theory and has a large number of applications in various domains such as telecommunications, bioinformatics, and internet. It is one of the 21 NP-complete problems of Karp. Several large graph treatment frameworks have emerged and are effective options to deal with the VGC problem. Examples of those frameworks include Pregel, Graphx and Giraph. the latter is one of the most popular large graph processing frameworks both in industry and academia. In this paper, we present a novel graph coloring algorithm designed for utilizing the simple parallelization technique provided by the Giraph framework or any other vertex-centric paradigm. We have compared our algorithm to existing Giraph graph coloring algorithms with regard to solution quality (number of used colors) and CPU runtime, using several large graph datasets. the obtained results have shown that the proposed algorithm is much more efficient than existing Giraph algorithms.

the advance of technologies such as distributed computing, internet and grid computing, have enabled Cloud computing to become part of a new model of computing and business. Cloud computing is transforming the traditional ways in which companies use and acquire Information technology (IT) resources. After an initial boom in Public Cloud, companies begun to mount hybrid Clouds that offer the advantages of Cloud computing in addition to the privacy of data they consider strategic. A hybrid Cloud solution allows the integration of both systems. Leading companies in cloud solutions have understood this evolution and begun to offer hybrid solutions. Blockchain was known by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 because of Bitcoin. After more than a decade of development, blockchain has been widely used in medical, digital finance, and electronic evidence, etc. Consensus algorithm is the core part of blockchain and has become the bottleneck of blockchain performance. At present, there are dozens of different consensus algorithms for different application context, such as Proof of Work (PoW), Proof of Stake (PoS), Delegate Proof of Stake (DPoS), Proof of Reputation (PoR), etc. But in Public blockchains, their performance, security and stability are difficult to support a large project. this paper introduces an improved consensus algorithm named Delegated Proof of Stake with node's behavior and Borda Count (DPoSB) which based on the node behavior monitoring in DPoS and Borda count voting. the node's behavior of generating blocks is used as a reference index for node elections, and it will increase the difficulty for nodes that have bad behavior. then, combined with the Borda Count to elect nodes that is more in line with the other nodes' wishes. So, the elected nodes are more secure and fairer, thereby ensuring the stability of the system and the interests of blockchain nodes. Finally, the feasibility and correctness of the consensus algorithm is proved by simulation experiments of the blockchain system.

Stock price prediction plays an important role on the journey of investors on the stock market. the prices of the company stocks on the market are performed by different deliverables. Social media data sets, news sites, feedback and reviews are some kind of online tools that can affect the stock market. It is often worth using this context to predict the performance of market shares. We take the advantage of Sentiment analysis on Market related announcement and respective public opinions for stock market trend predictions for more accurate recommendations. Sentiment Analysis is a machine learning program for extracting opinions from a text section that is designed to support any product, company, individual or other entity (positive, negatively, neutral). In this research calculations and data processing were performed within machine learning approach with use of Spark model on Google cloud platform. Among most of the stock prediction researches, only few researchers have done their researches on sentiment analysis within big data distributed environment. Logistic Regression and Naïve Bayes perform well in sentiment classification. Main finding of this research is that public opinion significantly influences the fluctuations of market forces and economic factors such as monetarism, government reforms, unforeseen pandemics, interest rates, public trust, and faith in bond market trust. the detection of the feelings pattern will enhance the market prediction as it ensures the consistency of decision.

Edge computing, as an emerging paradigm empower the network edge devices with intelligence, has become a prominent and promising future for internet of things. Meanwhile, machine learning method, especially deep learning method has experience tremendous success recently in many application scenario. Recently, deep learning method applied in IoT scenario is also explored in many literatures. However, how to combine edge computing and deep learning method to advance the data analytics in smart grids has not been fully studied. To this end, in this paper, we propose ECNN (Edge-deployed Convolution Neural Network) in edge computing assisted smart grids to greatly enhance the ability in data aggregation and analytics. We also discuss how to train such network in edge computing distributively. Experiments shows the advantage of our paradigm. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Recent advances in the internet of things (IoT) and, more generally, distributed computing research have given rise to various edge-oriented computing paradigms including Edge-, Fog-, and Mobile Cloud-computing. Systems adhering to these paradigms exhibit a number of characteristics such as high levels of heterogeneity and dynamicity, leading to high complexity, that exacerbate the problems associated with traditional cyber defence. these problems are further exacerbated when edge-oriented systems operate in adversarial environments, e.g. the internet of Battle things (IoBT). Current generations of cyber defence approaches straddling attack prevention, detection, response and tolerance are arguably insufficient for edge-oriented systems operating in IoBT environments, especially given the constant increase in cyber attack sophistication. In this paper, we propose proactive antifragility as a new paradigm for the next generation of cyber defence approaches capable of taking into account the aforementioned system characteristics and environmental challenges. We propose a conceptualization of proactive antifragility, and then outline associated challenges and research directions indicating which existing approaches can be re-used or advanced/developed further in order for proactive antifragility to be achieved "at the edge".

this paper presents the vision of establishing a global service for Global IoT Device Discovery and Integration (GIDDI). the establishment of a GIDDI will: (1) make IoT application development more efficient and cost-effective via enabling sharing and reuse of existing IoT devices owned and maintained by different providers, and (2) promote deployment of new IoT devices supported by a revenue generation scheme for their providers. More specifically, this paper proposes a distributed IoT blockchain ledger that is specifically designed for managing the metadata needed to describe IoT devices and the data they produce. this GIDDI Blockchain is internet-owned (i.e., it is not controlled by any individual or organization) and is internet-scaled (i.e., it can support the discovery and reuse billions of IoT devices). the paper also proposes a GIDDI Marketplace that provides the functionality needed for IoT device registration, query, integration, payment and security via the proposed GIDDI Blockchain. We outline the GIDDI Blockchain and Marketplace implementation. We also discuss ongoing research for automatically mining the IoT Device metadata needed for IoT Device query and integration from the data produce. this significantly reduces the need for IoT device providers to supply the metadata descriptions the devices and the data they produce during the registration of IoT Devices in the GIDDI Blockchain.
