this research paper delves into the evaluation of various machine learning algorithms for the detection of diseases in apple leaves. Models such as VGG, DenseNet, ResNet, EfficientNet, ConvNextBase, and Vision Transformer (ViT) were scrutinized in this study. the assessment involved gauging the efficacy of each model in identifying and categorizing diseases using a dataset comprised of high-resolution images of apple leaves exhibiting various ailments. the findings revealed that these models excel in distinguishing between healthy and diseased leaves, albeit with differences in their ability to pinpoint specific diseases. this investigation contributes to the field of precision agriculture by automating disease detection, thereby aiding in the early detection and treatment of diseases to bolster fruit yield in apple orchards. © 2023 IEEE.

the text classification algorithm's knowledge base processing method utilizes existing data from the knowledge base to guide the construction and training of the classification model. In practical application, the knowledge base processing method has been prove to have a good performance in text classification tasks. the utilization of knowledge base processing method in text classification has led to an average accuracy improvement of more than 17%. Furthermore, this method significantly reduces labeling costs by approximately 70% compared to traditional approaches. Recently, knowledge base processing methods have been widely used in supporting business applications, social media analysis and other fields. this paper proposes a knowledge base method to establish a feature model related to domain speciality and combine it with traditional text classification algorithm, so as to optimize the training and reasoning process of the classification model and improve the accuracy of classification effect. Lastly, we suggested strategies to overcome the shortcoming of the knowledge base method in improving the construction and training of the classification model. © 2023 IEEE.

Risk factor analysis is essential in medical research and patient care, offering insights into the determinants of mortality and severe outcomes. It aids healthcare providers in improving patient management, tailoring interventions, and optimizing resource allocation. the COVID-19 pandemic underscored the importance of rapid and collaborative risk factor analysis. Machine learning (ML) algorithms have emerged as powerful tools for predicting risk factors, but they require thorough data cleaning and preparation. this paper focuses on the exploratory data analysis (EDA) of Malaysian COVID-19 cases to identify feasible variables for subsequent risk factor analysis, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of ML models in healthcare. In this study, data from 128 records from Hospital Sg Buloh were analyzed, focusing on 34 variables. the process involved data cleaning and various analytical techniques, including univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. this exploratory data analysis (EDA) is crucial as it facilitates the identification and extraction of significant features for machine learning algorithms. EDA helps in understanding data patterns, relationships, and structures, ensuring that the resulting ML models are precise and effective. By thoroughly analyzing the data, EDA lays the foundation for robust risk factor analysis, ultimately enhancing decision-making and patient care in healthcare settings. © 2024 IEEE.

By the game-changing possibilities of credit scoring models driven by the Internet of things, this hopes to shed light on how the banking sector may enhance its loan decision-making procedures. Financial organisations are putting more and more faith in Internet of things technologies to improve their risk assessment and lending processes. these IoT-driven models provide a more accurate and thorough assessment of creditworthiness by including real-time and detailed data on borrowers' activities, spending habits, and asset utilisation. this research examines the practicality and accuracy of Internet of things (IoT) credit scoring by comparing it to conventional methods, looking closely at case researches, and analysing empirical data. the findings shed light on potential ways to enhance the loan approval and risk prediction procedures while also addressing concerns and considerations related to data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. It is possible that decision-making frameworks could be altered by IoT-driven credit scoring algorithms, which could lead to a more inclusive and informed lending atmosphere. the contributes to the growing area of banking credit evaluation by showing that these models have promise. © 2024 IEEE.
