Business process modelling is a tool for requirements engineers or business analysts to express business requirements in terms of what activities are to take place when the application software executes. Since business process models can be shared by different organisations or business domains, we can apply the concept of software component fabrication to the fabrication of process components. A business process model will be partitioned into subprocesses, each of which is a process component that may be used as part of other business process models. this paper proposes an approach to designing process components by using a genetic algorithm. Based on a fitness function, the approach can give a recommendation for a process components design that optimally achieves managerial goals, i.e. cost effectiveness, ease of assembly, customisation, reusability, and maintainability. We present our approach via an example of a flight reservation system.

In this paper, we propose a novel anti-collision algorithm for generation 2 RFID system to estimate the number of tags and to use the optimal frame size. Depending on the number of tags, there exists the optimal frame size in the sense that the system efficiency is maximized. the number of tags can be estimated from the collision ratio in terms of collided slots per frame. In addition, we compare our proposed algorithm with other existing schemes by simulation. the proposed scheme is easy to implement, and the simulation results show that its performance improves significantly compared to other schemes in terms of the identification time and the number of consumed slots.

Catadioptric mirrors are widely used in automatic surveillance system. the major drawback of catadioptric mirror is its unequal image resolution. Even double panoramic structure can generate stereo images with single camera system. So two images obtained from double panoramic equidistance catadioptric mirror can be used in finding the depth and height values of object's points. Equidistance catadioptric mirror can be the solution to this problem. But compared to the single catadioptric mirror, the image size of double panoramic system is relatively small. this leads to the severe accuracy problem in estimation. the exact axial alignment and the exact mount of mirror are the sources that can be avoided but the focal length variation is inevitable. In this paper, the effects of focal length variation on the computation of depth and height of object' point are explained and the effective focal length finding algorithm, using the assumption that the object's viewing angles are almost same in stereo images, is presented.

Peer-to-peer (P2P) technology benefits from a tractable and flexible job distribution scheme. However due to the dynamic nature of P2P, the optimal decision point of job scheduling is still unpredictable and some DLT-like heuristics are not sufficient to be a promising candidate for this role. As a reason of that, in this paper we have proposed the optimized time-constraint job distribution scheme in group based P2P networks. this scheme supports the hybrid type of jobs according to divisibility property. Also, it provides the methodology (3 phase-algorithms) which guarantees efficient job distribution under the condition of minimum completion time of executing jobs. through the simulation in the aspects of balancing and minimum completion time, we will discuss about its performance evaluation.
