Background: Adequate food intake and adequate water intake (AWI) plays a vital role in body development, human health and total wellbeing. Water intake (WI) is one of the major and crucial nutrients for health promotion and disease prevention. Beverage consumption is also a medium through which water is consumed but the content of the beverage is very important to staying hydrated and living healthy. Despite this, there is a viaduct in proper knowledge about the exact amount of total water intake (TWI) and hydration status among students in Obuda University. Aim: the primary aim of this study is to bring an awareness among Obuda University students about how important water is to health and staying hydrated which further enhance a good study performance. To check if the students suffer from any dehydration-related symptoms and to conduct descriptive analysis on which channels they acquire information about hydration. therefore, we focus on water drinking habits by investigating if Obuda University students from Africa, Asia and Europe adheres to hydration policy as regards to the recommended daily total water intake (TWI) according to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for Europeans and the World Health Organization (WHO) for Africans and Asians, and to explore if they are well hydrated. Methods: A cross-platform survey was distributed to extort data about drinking habits and the awareness of hydration among the students. the questions contained in the survey took approximately 5 minutes to complete. there were 385 responses but 323 were qualified for the investigation. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS v26 and descriptive statistics are presented throughout the study. Results: there were 323 young-aged participants between the ages of 18-35 years from Africa, Asia, and Europe included in the study. An important part of system modeling involves establishing relations of system variables. Data collected from a system reflects relations of system variables and thus allows us to learn variable relations from system data. Existing machine learning and data mining techniques focus on learning variable relations that hold for all values of variables. However, different variable relations may exist for different ranges of variable values, or a variable relation holds only for certain ranges of variable values but not for full ranges of variable values. this paper presents the use of a new algorithm, called Partial-Value Association Discovery (PVAD), to learn partial-value variable relations for energy consumption system modeling and engineering retention.

As a kind of one-dimensional nanostructure, silicon nanowires have a very wide range of applications in photovoltaic devices, electrical devices, and biosensors. the morphology control of nanowire arrays greatly affects the performance of nanowire arrays. In this paper, we introduce the light-assisted MACE method to prepare nanowire arrays. through a large number of experiments, the effects of different light intensities and light wavelengths on the morphology of the formed silicon nanowire arrays are analyzed. At the same time, the degree of aggregation of nanowires is taken as the characterization parameter of the morphological characteristics, the change rule of clustering density and the change rule of the etching rate under different illumination power and wavelength conditions are qualitatively analyzed. Finally, we make a preliminary exploration and analysis of the reasons for this appearance. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

this paper proposes the integration method of Indonesian speech and hand gesture recognition for controlling humanoid robot. A Microsoft Kinect v2 is used to recognize human speech and gesture so that the humanoid robot can follow the command. the recognition of speech grammar is done by creating Indonesian language model which is converted from a combination of English lexicon-grammar. the method of gesture recognition uses Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) decision. then, the result is obtained from a combined score for all speech and gesture recognition using dynamic programming. Compare to the speech or gesture recognition only, the experimental results prove that the integration of Indonesian speech and gesture recognition has a better accuracy. the speech and gesture commands being tested are forward, backward, turn left, turn right, stop, sit down, and stand up. the testing was conducted by six different people with different gender and age where the distance between the Kinect and the human is around 1,5 meters. the rates of average accuracy of speech recognition, gesture recognition, and integration of speech and gesture are 80.71%, 92.74%, 94.05%, respectively.

this paper presents a deep learning framework that is capable of solving partially observable locomotion tasks based on our novel interpretation of Recurrent Deterministic Policy Gradient (RDPG). We study on bias of sampled error measure and its variance induced by the partial observability of environment and subtrajectory sampling, respectively. three major improvements are introduced in our RDPG based learning framework: tail-step bootstrap of temporal difference, initialisation of hidden state using past subtrajectory, truncation of temporal backpropagation, and injection of external experiences learned by other agents. the proposed learning framework was implemented to solve the Bipedal-Walker challenge in OpenAI's gym simulation environment where only partial state information is available. Our simulation study shows that the autonomous behaviors generated by the RDPG agent are highly adaptive to a variety of obstacles and enables the agent to effectively traverse rugged terrains for long distance with higher success rate than leading contenders.

When a person gets a stroke including brain disease (e.g. cerebral bleed, cerebral infarction, subarachnoidal bleeding, etc.), the body function become worse by the hemiplegia paralysis, muscle weakness, sensory disorder, and so on. SIAS (Stroke Impairment Assessment Set) has a capability to evaluate these bodies with disabilities from multiple points of view at rehabilitation. However, the tests such as SIAS are usually evaluated by inaccurate visual observation and the results depend on the examiner. To overcome this problem, the authors have been developing a total system to get a unified decision for numerous SIAS tests by using depth sensors. In this paper, we develop the Verticality test in SIAS. this test is to evaluate the incline of trunk to lateral directions, and our system automatizes the evaluation by using Microsoft Kinect. By conducting experiments with 20 adults, we show that this system has a possibility to be used as an automatized Verticality test.

Machine Learning model building is an important and complex task in Data Science but also a good target for automation as recently exploited by AutoML. In general, free and open-source packages offer a joint space of learning algorithms and their respective hyperparameter settings and an optimization method for model search and tuning. In this paper, Auto-WEKA's performance has been tested by running it for short periods of time (5, 15 and 30 minutes) using a commodity machine and suitable datasets with a limited number of observations and features. Benchmarking was performed against the best human-generated solution available in OpenML for each selected dataset. We concluded that increasing the overall time budget available over the previous values didn't improve significantly classifiers' performance.
