Information extraction from unstructured text is an important task in natural language processing field, since the performance of relation extraction models directly affects the accuracy of information extraction, especially when joint information extraction is not suitable. However, recent approaches do not pay enough attention to the non-entity words in sentences. Existing works investigate entity words in text sequences, others by examining the semantics of the whole text sequence. In this paper, we propose a relation classification model called EINE, which stands for Enhancing the Impact of Non-Entity words, integrating relation information into word-level semantics and reasonably enhancing the impact of non-entity words. Experimental results show that relation classification not only relies on the representation of entity words in sentences, but also needs to use the non-entity words to avoid over-relying on the entity words. Meanwhile, the integration of relation information significantly improves the classification effect. Finally, our model obtains superior results on two datasets, SemEval-2010 Task 8 and WebNLG.

Voice and speech pattern analysis can help improve conversational and persuading abilities, especially in situations or applications where direct face-to-face human engagement is not possible or preferable. this paper proposes methods for accurately predicting emotions. in a voice sample. Additive white Gaussian noise is added to avoid overfitting and create real-environment sound. this paper uses the Mel spectrogram to extract features. Multilayer Perceptron, 1D-CNN, 2D-CNN, and transformer-based parallel CNN have been used to appropriately classify human emotions from speech samples. Previously unseen, transformer-based architectures have had a breakthrough in recent times and using them in audio processing and emotion mapping is rather novel which we intend to do. © 2022 IEEE.

this research explores underwater wireless communication in confined spaces, specifically water tanks, departing from the common focus on sea-water in 5G networks. the study employs a unique system model using fuzzy logic techniques to analyze the impact of underwater applications. Unlike traditional sonar models, the approach emphasizes secured data transmission based on constraint statements, addressing signal attenuation in sodium chloride-saturated tanks. A tailored attenuation model and a multipath propagation model are developed to counter challenges like inter-symbol interference and protocol latency. Considering the tank's properties, a channel propagation model is designed for reliable communication. the study introduces a Wireless Channel propagation model to calculate signal coverage area. Using the Fuzzy Logic tool in MATLAB, simulations evaluate attenuation, multipath components, and coverage area for acoustic signals in the underwater frequency range. Fuzzy logic analysis provides comprehensive insights into underwater communication dynamics, specifically assessing the attenuation of acoustic frequency signals.

Convolutional network models (CNN) are very vulnerable to adversarial samples, which poses a serious challenge to the security of CNN models. Based on the task of CNN's modulation and identification of communication signals, we propose a white-box attack algorithm, the shortest distance attack method (SD-Alg), which can generate extremely small disturbances and greatly reduce the classification performance of the model. Experiments show that our algorithm excels in attack success rate, running time and adversarial perturbation size among the same type of algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

the Internet of things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) represent dynamic research fields with significant growth. IoT applications have gained popularity among technology researchers and developers, and the increasing deployment of IoT devices in critical infrastructures improves efficiency and reliability and raises concerns about cyber-attacks. Enterprises have effectively implemented IoT services, enabling automated production through remote and intelligent control. However, this adoption has concurrently introduced novel security vulnerabilities. Addressing the security and privacy challenges in IoT, especially considering energy limitations and scalability issues, remains a critical focus in computer security. this paper aims to prevent multiple attacks targeting sensor nodes' data manipulation. It encompasses a range of threats, such as sensing layer attacks, malfunctions, tamper attacks, false data injection, base node and clone attacks. the proposed approach involves a threat model and a pairing algorithm that utilizes machine learning to associate each sensor node with its corresponding node. To accomplish the goal, the performance of the proposed solution is compared with various machine learning models, including Decision Tree, Linear Regression, k-nearest neighbors (KNN), Random Forest, and AdaBoost. the evaluation utilized two openly accessible real-world datasets, with metrics such as accuracy in attack detection, training time, and testing time being considered. By incorporating machine learning algorithms to improve attack detection in IoT environments, the proposed approach represents a significant advancement in enhancing security and privacy. the results highlight the importance of adopting advanced techniques to safeguard IoT systems from potential threats. the proposed method achieved an impressive 96.75% accuracy rate in detecting attacks, surpassing existing solutions with nearly twice the speed in training and testing times. this research paper centers on the evaluation of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in the realm of image classification tasks, specifically employing the CIFAR-10 dataset to assess their effectiveness. To further enhance the performance of image classification, the authors introduce a combination of the Residual Network (ResNet) model and the Mixup technique, aiming to analyze the influence of Mixup training on the predictive capabilities of the model. In more detail, the paper conducts a comparative analysis between models trained with and without Mixup, specifically examining their performance on the test set. the aim is to investigate the influence of Mixup on the trained models and their capacity to achieve precise image classification. the experimental results reveal that employing Mixup during training yields a noteworthy improvement of nearly 1% in prediction accuracy on the test set compared to models trained without Mixup. the findings of this study provide valuable insights into the potential of Mixup as an effective technique for improving the performance of CNNs in image classification tasks. the combination of Mixup with the ResNet model offers a promising avenue for future research and practical applications in the field of computer vision. With the rise of deep neural networks, question-answering based on machine reading comprehension has attracted more and more attention. Current question-answering systems, including transformer-based models, suffer from increasing model complexity and a large number of parameters, which makes them inefficient in extracting answers in constrained devices. In this paper, we propose an efficient knowledge distillation approach to tackle both model complexity and the huge amount of parameter problems. To be Specific, we proposed architecture employs an intermediate model to work as the teacher assistant, and then the "teacher assistant" can teach the student more efficiently without consuming massive resources. We conduct experiments on the SQuAD dataset and these experiments show that we can achieve better experimental results than the conventional knowledge distillation model.

In recent years, Internet of things enabling applications, which have provided excellent answers to a variety of challenges. this fast-growing industry is led by wireless sensor networks. Smart medical devices and wearables, for example, play an important part in the Internet of things, as they may collect a variety of longitudinal patient-generated health data while also presenting preliminary diagnosis options. As part of their efforts to serve patients with IoT-based solutions, experts apply ml to give effective resolutions in bleeding detection. this work describes a smart IoT-based solution for human brain hemorrhage diagnostics that uses deep learning algorithms to reduce death rates and provide correct treatment recommendations. the SVM and Recurrent Neural Network were used to classify the images from the computed tomography scans for the intracranial dataset. When compared to prior techniques such as naive bayes, KNN, and K-medoids, the classification results for the SVM and Recurrent neural network are high. According to the findings, the recurrent neural network beats other methods for identifying intracranial images. the output of the classification tool offers information on the type of brain hemorrhage, which helps to validate an expert's diagnosis and is utilized as a learning tool for trainee radiologists to eliminate errors in existing systems.

Coherent sources often exist due to various factors such as multipath effects and electronic interference. How to estimate the parameters of coherent sources is a significant part of spatial spectrum estimation. the traditional algorithm for coherent signals has the defect of losing the effective aperture of the array, which affects the accuracy and resolution of the estimation. To solve the problem, this paper models coherent DOA estimation as multi-label classification based on neural network. Sparse autoencoder, spatial filter, and multiple parallel DNN classifiers are employed to complete the multi-label classification task. the whole framework can also adapt to close DOA scenario, and simulation results have demonstrated the superiority of the method. Moreover, this paper discussed the reason of DOA estimation failure and a staggered grid method is utilized to improve the classification accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

the 'sensor nodes' in a wireless sensor network are the individual devices that collect data and are powered independently. these nodes act as sensors and processors. the credentials of a compromised node can be used to create multiple identical 'clone' nodes elsewhere in the network. the community could be harmed in the short or long term by the proliferation of these clone nodes. In this paper, the authors discuss a hashing-based technique that avoids the need for this information. Every cluster's leader implements the proposed method for locating clone nodes, considering the hierarchy present in the data. the simulation results demonstrate its superiority over RDB-R and TDS. © 2022 IEEE.
