this paper shows the development of an educational software with which it is possible to read relations in the form of an adjacency matrix, graph or set of ordered pairs and carry out relational algebra operations so as to apply different transformations in order to attain certain properties from the relations. the software is used as an additional tool in the activities that the teacher usually carries out, and has been tested with an experimental group studying the unit regarding relations in the subject of Discrete Mathematics. this paper presents the results of the experience, showing that the students were highly motivated and attained a better academic performance.

Despite many applications, mobile cloud computing induces privacy concerns. In particular, when mobile device users offload the computation of a mobile app to the cloud, they may not want the cloud service provider (CSP) to know what kind of app they are using, since that information might be used to infer their personal activities and living habits. One possible way for the CSP to learn the type of an offloaded app is to observe the resource usage patterns of the app (e.g., CPU and memory usage), since different apps have different resource needs due to their distinct computation workloads. To assess this risk, this paper answers the following question: Can the type of mobile app (e.g., email, web browsing, mobile game, etc.) used by a user be inferred from the resource usage pattern of the mobile app? We investigate the resource usage patterns of apps and whether the difference in resource usage pattern is sufficient to classify different types of apps. Specifically, two privacy attacks under the same framework are proposed based on supervised learning algorithms. then these attacks are implemented and tested in a mobile device and in a cloud computing environment. Experiments show that, when the resource usage patterns on a mobile device are used, the type of app can be inferred with high probabilities; when the resource usage patterns on a cloud server are used, the type of app can be inferred with accuracy much higher than random guess.

Due to the lag of the curriculum systems and the difficulties in parallel programming, there are few national universities to provide high performance computing(HPC) or parallel computing courses for undergraduate students. Withthe arrival of the era of research with big data, many universities have set up their own HPC laboratory, the conditions of teaching HPC related curriculums for undergraduate students are ready. In order to train professional talents who can apply and use HPC clusters, we design a HPC course system for computer science and technology majors and graduate students. A set of HPC courses for non-computer majors is also proposed. the proposed HPC curriculum content and the number of hours are the result of teaching and experiment by ourselves.

ESL teaching methodologies evolved markedly in the 20 th century, from the grammar translation method favored by the Victorians, adapting throughout the century into other models which focused on ideas like repetition to generate mastery, pronunciation, mimicry, and physical mnemonics and among other eccentric techniques. these were manufactured and informed by a variety of applied linguistic and psychological theoreticians;to respond to criticisms of various inadequacies in preceding language education methodology to the Communicative Language teaching Method(CLT) of the later part of the 20 th Century. this paper will consider how(CLT) has been adapted to better meet the needs of language learners and encompasses aspects of other earlier techniques from which it has borrowed, to strengthen its capacity to become a more effective teaching methodology. Enabling learners to get the most out of their language learning experience and assisting teachers to better understand how learners acquire language. this paper will consider how the CLT theory has adapted over time and consider whether it is still the most effective methodology, having been current for the better part of 50 years.
