Routine maintenance processes (e.g., peacetime conditions) are not optimized for extreme maintenance conditions (e.g., aircraft or ship battle damage repair, extreme cold Alaska pipeline repair, and COVID-19 depot repair processes). In extreme contexts, modern information technology (e.g., machine learning [ML], additive manufacturing [AM], and Cloud in the Box [CIB]) is typically not being leveraged to optimize productivity and cycle time in these maintenance processes. Literature on process optimization does not address the use of modern technology for optimization in extreme maintenance conditions. this research aims to test the value added to information technology to optimize process productivity and cycle time for extreme maintenance conditions. It will extend the use of process optimization theory to include the effect of modern information technology as well as extreme maintenance contexts. this research is critical because failure to make correct repairs can affect the organization at its most vulnerable cyber infrastructure. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the manufacturing industry continually seeks advanced technologies to enhance performance per evolving customer requirements. machine learning (ML) emerges as a pivotal assistive technology essential for strategic integration with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Traditionally, KPIs monitor and measure industrial system performance. this paper proposes a framework leveraging KPIs to integrate ML across the automation pyramid in Industry 5.0. the framework enables early detection of malfunctions and areas for improvement, preventing productivity loss. Validated across various industries, the framework demonstrates enhanced operational efficiency, sustainability, and human-centric benefits. Information and Communication Technologies advancements facilitate real-time data collection and analysis, aligning with ISO 22400 standards for manufacturing operations management. ML techniques generate actionable insights crucial for sustainable development in industries such as automotive, which require holistic goal assessments. Industry 4.0 marked a significant shift towards automation and data exchange, leveraging IoT, cloud computing, and big data analytics. Industry 5.0 emphasizes human-machine collaboration, customization, and sustainability, evolving KPIs to include worker satisfaction, customization capabilities, and social and environmental impact metrics. this evolution spans various sectors: manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, retail, e-commerce, high-energy-use industries, and consumer goods. ML minimizes downtime, enhances product quality, optimizes supply chains, and improves worker safety by analyzing data from wearables and sensors. Integrating ML with KPIs in Industry 4.0 and 5.0 enables industries to be more efficient, adaptive, and responsive to market and environmental changes, improving decision-making, operational efficiency, and alignment with business and sustainability goals.

the Internet of things (IoT), a rapidly expanding and constant technology today, enables the efficient exchange of information and control of electronic equipment. As technology grows more and more integrated into our daily lives, IoT serves as a bridge between human intelligence and artificial intelligence. Although the Internet of things (IoT) presents numerous benefits for efficiency and creativity, it also poses serious privacy and security concerns. the main topic of the research is the enormous challenges in protecting IoT environments caused by the sheer number and variety of connected devices. this study's main goal is to look into how machine learning methods may be used to lessen the ongoing security vulnerabilities in IoT environments. We intend to create more resilient and intelligent security systems that can adapt to the changing threat environment by utilising machine learning's capabilities. the proposed study provides a thorough examination of the various elements and traits that make up IoT systems, with a focus on the current security measures. By taking a look at these elements, we may determine which strategies and techniques stand the highest chance of improving IoT security. this makes it possible for IoT deployments to be safer and more dependable in a technological setting that is quickly changing. © 2024 IEEE.

Ensuring high product quality is crucial in modern industry, as low-quality products can lead to negative consequences like fmancial losses, resource wastage, and harm to a company's reputation. Although in high volume production advanced inspection technologies are in place, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) still often rely only on manual visual inspection by human operators to identify defective or improperly assembled products resulting in long cycle times, high error rates, and increased costs. To address mentioned issues, recently advanced automated optical inspection systems (AOIs) have been developed that employ Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) such as YOLO (You Only Look Once). While YOLO has been effectively applied to identify defects across a range of industrial uses, the potential of YOLOv8 for real-time detection of correct and incorrect assembly in automated production lines lacks research. the research presented here aimed to develop an automated optical inspection system using a camera and a CNN-based model, Yolov8, to ensure the product quality of the assembled parts in real-time. three algorithms were developed using Python, RT Toolbox 2, and TIA Portal v17 to facilitate communication between the developed model, robot, and PLC as well as assembly and carry out quality control processes. the system's performance was evaluated through three sets of experiments, each consisting of 50 instances. the collected data were then evaluated by means of statistical analysis methods. the study's results revealed that Yolov8 with AOIs resulted in a high accuracy as well as macro and micro recall, precision and F1 -Score of 98 %. Moreover, this low-cost and real-time approach holds significant potential for adoption in SMEs' production lines for inspecting parts.

Reinforcement learning is becoming more and more important in the field of artificial intelligence. Compared with traditional supervised learning and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning has wider application scenarios and higher flexibility. As a reinforcement learning problem in continuous space, curling has a good representative significance in the field of reinforcement learning, students can have a deeper understanding of the principles and applications of deep learning and reinforcement learning, thinking deeply about the differences and relationships between artificial intelligence and human intelligence. the reinforcement learning algorithm in curling uses the Monte Carlo tree search method, which covers many basic theoretical knowledge of computer science, such as machine learning, mathematics, algorithms, and data structures. In this paper, we propose a case study of reinforcement learning teaching based on digital curling. First, we designed and implemented a digital curling simulator and made a visual interface. then, to make the algorithm more understandable, we implement a visual explanation of Monte Carlo search trees. Additionally, we have also provided the digital curling competition mode, so that students can realize the competition of different algorithms. Students can effectively improve their understanding of reinforcement learning by using their own algorithms to fight against digital curling. © 2024, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Generative large language models, like ChatGPT, are playing an increasingly important role in various aspects of our lives. they're democratizing machine learning and impacting an expanding segment of the population. Motivated by this, we embarked on a study, interviewing numerous open-source and OpenAI models. Our focus was on topics like diversity, inclusion, human rights, gender, LGBT leadership, and history to assess LLMs proficiency on these crucial subjects. Additionally, we investigated if there's a relationship between a country's GDP per capita and quality of the model's responses. For our experiments, we used the Huggingface model leaderboard to cherry-pick a diverse range of models and deploy them into AWS SageMaker GPU environment. We presented the same set of questions about nearly 200 countries and subsequently verified the responses for their accuracy and correlation to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). the diversity, quality, and quantity of the answers from these pretrained open-source LLMs were astonishing, especially given the complexity and sensitivity of the questions. Our exploration yielded valuable insights about model selection, streamlining the inference pipeline, GPU prerequisites and setups, and the depth of knowledge ingrained in models due to their training data. Finally, we discovered very peculiar correlation between generated answers and a country's GDP. © 2024 IEEE.

the integration of sentiment analysis in textual content analysis improves human-computer interactions in various dimensions. this research work aims to advance text-based emotion detection systems, with a particular emphasis on hidden emotional identification thorough textual analysis. this research study proposed a Stacking Classifier by integrating machine learning algorithms: logistic regression, linear support vector classification (linear SVC), multi-layer perceptron (MLP) classifier, random forest, and decision tree. this ensemble generates probabilities for individual emotions, which are then fed into a meta-classifier (Logistic Regression) for accurate emotion identification. Empirical findings from the ISEAR dataset, which includes four separate emotion categories, demonstrates the efficiency of proposed Stacking Classifier model in textual content analysis. Significantly, the classifier attains a higher testing accuracy of 89% and a testing accuracy of 90%. these results indicate the potential of proposed ensemble methodology in advancing the field of text-based emotion detection.

Artificial Intelligence is most used technology in every examine how AI developments relate to IVF contracts, with field. Already, advances in AI are employed for administrative tasks, patient involvement and adherence, diagnosis and treatment suggestions in the medical field, and diagnosis. In order to increase the accuracy of the concluded contract in terms of civil law and medical law, automation and human removal from decision-making processes regarding civil law regulation of contracts for the provision of in vitro fertilization are necessary everywhere today. So the purpose of this paper we study how Advancement of AI is used for decision making on civil law regulation of contract for the provision of In vitro fertilization this paper also develops a method for decision support systems for civil law regulation of the contract for the provision of in vitro fertilization. Decision is tree algorithm is used for check contract is true or not. Various performance matrices also analyzed in this paper. © 2024 IEEE.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder characterized by social, communication, and behavioral challenges. People with ASD may struggle with interaction, exhibit repetitive behaviors, and have specific interests. Early diagnosis is crucial, typically occurring in early childhood through a comprehensive evaluation of a child’s development, history, and behavior. While there is no cure for ASD, various treatments, such as Applied Behavior Analysis and therapy, can enhance social, communication, and behavioral skills. ASD’s symptoms vary among individuals and may include sensory processing difficulties, resistance to change, and a typical eating or sleeping habits. the average age of diagnosis is around 0 - 6 years, but some individuals may be diagnosed later due to less obvious symptoms in younger children. ASD, or Autism Spectrum Disorder, is a developmental condition associated with significant social, communication, and behavioral challenges. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an ML-powered system called eNidan to detect early symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). three algorithms are evaluated: KNN, Decision Tree, and Logistic Regression. Accuracy of decision tree algorithm is 64 percent, Accuracy of SVM algorithm is 58 percent, Accuracy of logistic regression algorithm is 67 percent. Logistic Regression is the best algorithm, with an accuracy of 67 percent. All three algorithms are appended to the model, and the accuracy of each algorithm is compared. Logistic Regression is found to be the best algorithm, and all results are fetch to the final algorithm. the paper focuses on historical data that is available and suitable for training data. this algorithm is downloaded onto the ML algorithm and trained on historical data collected from Kaggle. the parameters in the dataset are roll number, student age, speech delay, learning disorder, sex, family ASD, and ASD train. So final result is logistic regression is best algorithm for this
