Artificial intelligence played a vital role in brings revolutionary changes in the field of perfumery. It is much evident with events including the success of Philyra, exhibitions showcasing the ideas of this concept. machine learning made it user friendly and more comfortable for the users by means of suggestive interaction. machine learning also benefited the perfumers in helping them to choose the best combinations and likely successful outcomes. With growing concern about a healthy lifestyle, the thoughts about having an artificial intelligence to predict the user friendliness could be a huge success. this definitely would require a huge database comprising a large detail about diseases and the causes and combinational results of the various chemicals used in perfumery. this system may not be a completely successful one but would be reliable to a better extent. It would gain a positive response from various governmental health departments and would be encouraged by the consumers. Also, another possible development would be Artificial intelligence that is able to predict how long a perfume can last. this would let the consumer choose the one that suits the need. through this idea we could now get a clear idea about the progress that we have made till this day. Further we can also be driven into vague ideas about how the future of Artificial intelligence would likely grow into. machine learning and deep learning is a major pillar of artificial intelligence with larger application. Coming to our domain of discussion, artificial intelligence changed the way that things were in the past centuries about fragrance. this article proposed Quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) method is used to predict the best perfume flavour. the proposed system also reduces mean absolute error (MAE). the proposed QSAR is also reducing the chemical composition and increase the perfume quality.

Transformation of raw text is required for computational text analysis using Natural Language Processing methods. Computational text analysis leverage on human brain limitations to automatically index documents for retrieval and topic generation for topic distribution correlations in corpus of voluminous documents. Natural language non-parametric and parametric Topic modeling with Expectancy Maximization and Gibbs sampling render technique to build machine learning models for evaluation with log-likelihood, topic coherence and coefficient of determination of held-out document. this research extends the concept of Natural Language Processing to automate analysis of High interaction honeypot system call documents to deduce system resources misuse by malcode during real-time engagement with the user-space applications of the deployed honeypot. © 2020 IEEE.

In this paper, we present a visual analytics approach to analyze temporal patterns of human communication from a vast corporate communication dataset. Our approach mainly relies on visualization and mapping techniques to discover the patterns, which then support feature model development for a machine learning method. In contrast to previous work, our technique targets communication data presenting only temporal and interaction information, and focuses on the pattern searches of anomaly behaviors. the new visual analytics platform can be effectively used to analyze the differences between normal and suspicious procurement behaviors in corporation using email, phone call, and personal meeting records. By using the platform, we successfully found other potentially illegal activity based on suggested suspicious behaviors. © 2021 ACM.

Right from title, presentation and sequencing to filtering and personalization - machine learning and cognitive sciences can play a key role in news computing and processing. this paper looks into research carried out in the area of cultural and news computing in elaborate way and proposes a model for personalized sequencing and presentation of news. this personalized newspaper aims to present news of your liking and suitable to your emotional makeup so that the overall desired impact will be achieved. the personalization will take care of personal context, emotional context along with individuals likings. Further presentation of news considering emotional make-up can help in producing overall positive impact.

Culture is core to human civilization. It evolved over time. Culture is about human intellectual achievements in social context. It is about how humans work together, perform particular task and overall lifestyle and dealing with other groups of civilization. thus, it is concerned with establishing ideas. Does culture play key role in success? Does it impact on how two individuals can work together in achieving certain goals? Are some key questions. In this paper, we establish a means to derive cultural association and map it to culturally mediated success. human interactions with the environment are typically in the form of expressions. Association between culture and behavior produce similar beliefs which lead to common principles and actions, while cultural similarity as a set of common expressions and responses. To measure cultural association among different candidates, we propose the use of a Graphical Association Method (GAM). the behaviors of candidates are captured through series of expressions and represented in the graphical form. Association among corresponding node and core nodes is used for the same. the proposed approach gives promising and interesting results.

Although there have been attempts to tackle the problem of hand gesture recognition "in-the-wild", deployment of such methods in practical applications still face major issues such as view point change, clustered background and low resolution of hand regions. In this paper, we investigate these issues based on a frame-work that is intensively designed in terms of both varying features and multi-view analysis. In the framework, we embed both hand-crafted features and learnt features using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for gesture representation at single view. We then employ multi-view discriminant analysis (MvDA) based techniques to build a discriminant common space by jointly learning multiple view-specific linear transforms from multiple views. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed frame-work, we construct a new multi-view dataset of twelve gestures. these gestures are captured by five cameras uniformly spaced on the half of a circle frontally surrounding the user in the context of human machine interaction. the performance of each designed scheme in the proposed framework is then evaluated. We report accuracy and discuss the results in view of developing practical applications. Experimental results show promising performance for developing a natural and friendly hand-gesture based applications. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In this paper, we present a spoken educational system to automatically assess Arabic-native children's skill in forming English questions for different presented prompts. these prompts consist of images with a sentence that includes the answer to the required question. the answer key is colored to indicate what to ask. the main methodology of the proposed system is to record the spoken response of the child and pass it through state-of-the-art ASR to convert it into text. the output transcription is passed through three pipelined subsystems;Wh-question word checker, English grammar checker, which returns the number of grammar errors in the given question, and machine learning based grammar/language checker. the student response is accepted only if it is accepted by the three subsystems. the system was trained on 650 recorded responses made by 60 students (5th to 8th grades) as response to 75 different prompts. the number of grammar errors produced by the English grammar checker, best cosine similarity, best edit distance and best Jaccard distance between student response and the corresponding reference possible responses, are used to train KNN and SVM models with different parameters. the best precision, recall, f-measure and accuracy were achieved by SVM with linear kernel and degree of 2, 91%, 88%, 89% and 89%, respectively.

Deep learning (DL) has transformed the field of data analysis by dramatically improving the state of the art in various classification and prediction tasks. Especially in the area of computer vision and speech processing, DL has recently demonstrated better performance and generalisation properties, compared to classical machine learning approaches, which are based on the extraction of hand-crafted model-based features followed by classification. Hand gestures and speech constitute two of the most important modalities in human-to-human communication and man-machine interaction. In biomedical engineering, a lot of new work is directed towards electromyography-based gesture recognition. In this paper, we present a brief overview of DL methods for electromyography-based hand gesture recognition and then we select from literature a simple model based on Convolutional Neural Networks that we consider as the baseline model. the proposed modifications to the baseline model yield a 3% classification improvement. In the current paper, we concentrate on the explanatory analysis of this performance improvement. An ablation study identifies which modifications are the most important ones, and label smoothing is investigated to verify if the results can be improved by reducing a priori bias. the analysis helps in understanding the limitations of the model and exploring new ways to improve the performance. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.
