We report on the design, setup and first results of a robotized system for stereotactic neurosurgery. It features three translational and two rotational axes, as well as a motorized MicroDrive, thereby resembling the Zamorano-Duchovny (ZD) design of stereotactic frames (inomed Medizintechnik GmbH). Both rotational axes intersect in one point, the Center of the Arc, facilitating trajectory planning. We used carbon fiber-reinforced plastic to reduce the weight of the system. the robot can be mounted to standard operating table's side rails and can be transported on an operation theatre (OT) instrument table. We discuss the design paradigms, the resulting design and the actual robot. Kinematic calculations for the robot based on the Denavit-Hartenberg (DH) rules are presented. Positioning accuracy of our system is determined using two perpendicular cameras mounted on an industrial robot. the results are compared to a manual ZD system. We found that the robot's mean position deviation is 0.231 mm with a standard deviation of 0.076 mm.

With the increasing electronic scale and complexity of aircraft systems, the text-based system design method has some shortcomings, such as insufficient design collaboration, irregular process and lack of support for automatic safety analysis. In this paper, a model-based architecture design method is used to build a three-layer architecture model of function-logic-physics, which decouples the dependencies among the components of the system, solves the problems of difficult traceability and data maintenance caused by system architecture changes, and improves the quality and efficiency of architecture design. Model-based safety analysis is used to identify potential safety risks, fault propagation paths and possible hazards, to ensure that the system meets airworthiness requirements, and then to improve the ability of the forward design process of civil aircraft systems.

Existing IOT communication protocols such as MQTT(Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) and CoAP(Constrained Application Protocol) cannot meet the requirements of high reliability and real-time performance for the power system. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a reduced IEC61850 9-2SV (Sample Value) protocol for the IOT controller, ensuring high sample time for ADC and high transmission frequency of IOT devices. the protocol simplifies and trims some parameters, and changes the floating-point value into integer data. To decrease the burden of WIFI transmission, we proposed the bundle message and replacement message. the former bundle several sample value at the different time stamp and transmit them just in one payload. the latter tells the receiver how to replace some information in the former message to get a new one. the experiment shows the maximum transmittance frequency of SV messages could be considered as a constant, 1/15us. the bundle number has a linear relationship with maximum transmission bits per second and maximum sample rate. When bundling 45 sample values in one payload, the maximum transmission rate is 163.2 Mbps.

the supervised machine learning is the main analyzing method for the object recognition, but, when we analyze the multidimensional data using the supervised learning method, how can we get the training data from the data itself without other previous knowledge? Based on the intrinsic assembling feature of the multidimensional data, we present a method to select the training samples for machine learning. Firstly, we calculate each dimension's probability density estimating (PDE) to find the easily separable dimensions of the multidimensional data, then gain the smallest representative sample sets of all objects through intersecting the data of the same object of each easily separable dimensions, and get the object's number and the training data sources for the machine learning at the same time; secondly, train the neural network ensembles using the data selected from the representative sample sets to label the other data. Lastly, we analyzed the hyper-spectral images to detect red tide using this method, which proved this method could recognize the red tide effectively

In this paper, a test-bed built for the experiments of variable-speed constant-frequency (VSCF) wind power generation is described. the test-bed is composed of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG), a VVVF inverter driven squirrel motor for wind turbine simulation, dual-DSP-based controllers, as well as a PC-based data-acquisition and control system. In this system, a pair of bidirectional PWM voltage-source converters in a back-to-back configuration is inserted between the rotor windings and the grid lines to control the rotor currents in order to vary the slip power thereby implementing the VSCF operation. Vector-control is used to independently control the flow of active and reactive power between the system and grid line, and to make it easy for the system to implement maximal power point tracking (MPPT) and optimal reactive power splitting in wind power plants

In this paper, we design a logistics information management platform based on LBS technology. On the basis of LBS technology, the platform utilize RFID automatic identification in order to obtain relevant data, make the monitoring in the process of logistics perfect, reduce the logistics aspect and unnecessary losses in the process, drop the security inventory and operating capital in supply chain. As a result, GPS, WebGIS, and mobile communications technology can be integrated into the logistics management system to monitor, response and dispatch the mobile terminals, cargo scheduling and business assets of the logistics system in real-time we also establish geographic data sharing architecture and models, and eliminate geographic data format compatibility problems that widely spread in LBS services, implement share of heterogeneous distributed services. By using intelligent transportation technology, visualization technology and technology of logistics and distribution modernization, we build a logistics services application system based on LBS technology. On this basis, the enterprises competitiveness is improved and logistics industry is informationized.

the 21st century marks the beginning of Industry4.0 with data as primary driving force. the abundant availability of high-resolution videos, images of numerous industry processes, human activities coupled with sophisticated data driven technologies stands a base for evolution of latest technologies like image processing, industrial process automation. Here, the aim is to adapt the image processing technology to understand human behaviors based on the facial expressions drawn from various persons and apply that to evaluate customer review in retail market. the objective is to build a deep learning facial expression recognition classification model using OpenCV, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) libraries backed by TensorFlow framework and the trained model is deployed to a web interface using Flask API and generate customer review sheet. Attempts are made to analyze and classify data into 3 customer reviews as Satisfied, Not Satisfied and Neutral. these classification algorithms are deployed to find the real-time facial expression on videos and images to find the probability that an image belong to specific class data and generate customer review sheet.

this study presents a comprehensive study on smart home automation systems utilizing Internet of things (IoT) sensor technology to achieve efficient energy conservation. the proposed system integrates ZigBee and WiFi communication protocols for effective and reliable connectivity across various smart devices within a home. through the deployment of interconnected sensors and intelligent controllers, the system allows real-time monitoring and management of household energy usage, optimizing energy consumption and reducing waste. the combination of ZigBee for low-power, long-range sensor networks and WiFi for high-speed data transmission enables seamless interaction between smart appliances, lighting, heating, and cooling systems. Proposesd approach offers a scalable, cost-effective solution for enhancing home automation with an emphasis on energy conservation and sustainability. Also discussed the implementation, challenges, and future potential of IoT-based smart home systems for improved energy efficiency.

As Scheduling for real time polling services (rtPS) is not defined in IEEE 802.16 standard, there are various approaches described to address this issue. IEEE 802.16 has detailed documents about the QoS parameter. However, they do not mention the scheduling algorithm to be used. the essential goals of this packet scheduling scheme are to guarantee the QoS parameter as well as provide fairness among the subscriber stations. In this paper, we first use Earliest Deadline First (EDF) algorithm to schedule the real time service according to the QoS requirement. this meets maximum delay and packet loss requirements of a subscriber station in WiMax communication networks. In addition to satisfying the QoS requirements, we modify and extend the Proportional Fairness scheduling algorithm to what we call the Subscriber Stations Based Proportional Fairness (SSBPF) algorithm, which allocates remaining bandwidth fairly amongst subscriber stations. the algorithm has been implemented and evaluated in a WiMAX simulation platform developed in OPNET. From the simulation results, we can see not only the QoS requirement is satisfied, but also is fair to all subscriber stations in WiMax networks.

In recent times, there is an alarming increase in web application attacks, with significant cases, specifically, targeting Islamic websites. Since 2004, SQL Injection Vulnerabilities (SQLIVs) remains the most serious software security loopholes via which web applications are exploited. Fixing SQLIVs prior to deployment would provide very effective means of protection against such exploits. Ideally, SQLIVs fixing includes four main phases: SQLIVs detection, fix generation, fix application, and fix effectiveness verification. Most existing research works address different phases separately. there is no single research that addresses the four phases in a seamless integrated automation. this paper presents instances of attack on Islamic websites, and then propose framework for seamless integrated and automated SQLIVs fixing for web application, as part of an ongoing research work. the framework employs Evolutionary Programming to establish competitive co-evolution of web applications and test sets, in which fitness of evolved web applications is evaluated based on their ability to defend test attacks and pass legitimate input tests.
