this paper presents the system design, algorithms and user applications for the temperature-controlled enclosure calibration and testing processes. the system works as an IoT-based real-time temperature steady-state detection and monitoring system. the main goals of this research are divided into four parts. the first one is to design a networked calibration system that can perform multiple devices calibrating and testing at the same time. the system utilizes Modbus and Internet-based Wireless communication networks. the second one is to study and implement an appropriate algorithm that can detect the temperature steady-state of the temperature-controlled enclosure devices connected in the network. this proposed algorithm, the steady-state detector is implemented based on a low-pass filter and finite-state machine approaches. It is implemented using TypeScript, the strongly typed JavaScript. the third one is to design and implement web and mobile that supported applications used as real-time data visualization and user interface. the application is employed with development languages, including HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. the last one is to design and develop a web-based application to evaluate and deliver a technical report of the calibration and testing. the TypeScript files are exploited for the steady-state detector and applications are transpiled to common JavaScript that can perform directly in all browsers. the proposed system is evaluated in the real-use environment with various possible conditions. the experimental results validate the effectiveness of both system architecture, algorithm and user applications, offering overall performance comparable with legacy manual calibrating, testing and reporting processes. In particular, the normalized error (E n ) between manual and the proposed system significantly different (E n > 1), namely 95% confidence interval, thus widely satisfying requirements imposed by standardization bodies.

Volatile solids occur naturally on most planetary bodies including the Moon, Mars, asteroids and comets. Carbon dioxide and water ices have been detected remotely at the poles or in permanently shadowed craters on Mars and on the Moon. Comets consist mostly of ice (>85% of mass), and some asteroids also contain solid ices in various amounts. In the outer Solar System, moons of the giant planets host the same resources;Ganymede, Europa and Callisto are composed of silicate rock and water ice to varying degrees, and the Cassini-Huygens probe has revealed methane snow and water ice crusts on Titan. We investigate the concept of sublimating these ices and minerals to form gases where favorable environmental conditions prevail on many bodies in the Solar System. the applications offered by this resource sublimation concept range from powering surface systems during planetary missions to deflecting Near Earth Objects (NEO) threatening our planet by in-space propulsion. © ASCE 2012.

Aiming at the low accuracy of fault diagnosis of existing switch machines, a fault diagnosis model based on genetic algorithm optimized BP was proposed. Firstly, the power data of S700K collected by microcomputer monitoring is classified, and the corresponding code is coded for each type of fault. then the initial parameter values of the neural network and genetic algorithm are set. Finally, the neural network model is established, and the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the BP neural network, and the optimal network learning parameters are obtained, which realizes the recognition of different types of faults of the switch machine. the experimental results show that this method can identify the fault type of the switch machine effectively, and the recognition effect of GA-BP neural network is better than the traditional BP neural network, and the fault diagnosis accuracy reaches 97.5%.

As the power demands of onboard electrical equipment continue to rise, more-electric aircraft (MEA) power supply systems require an increasing number of converters to provide controlled voltage or frequency power. However, the extensive use of converters and their interaction with generators lead to instability in AC bus voltage, posing potential safety risks to aircraft. therefore, analyzing the stability of cascaded systems consisting of generators and converters is crucial. this paper proposes a novel stability criterion based on the Gershgorin circle theorem to accurately assess the AC output voltage stability of MEA cascaded systems. Compared to the generalized Nyquist stability criterion (GNSC), the proposed method aligns more closely with the actual stability state of aircraft systems and allows for the pre-design customization of stability margins, providing valuable guidance for aircraft system design. Finally, simulations validate the advantages and accuracy of this method through comparative analysis.

Transcranial electrical stimulation is a non-invasive neuromodulation technique that affects the brain's activity patterns by stimulating specific areas of the cerebral cortex with low-intensity electrical currents that modulate neuronal excitability and synaptic transmission [1] . Traditional transcranial stimulation instruments are expensive, bulky and have poor portability. In this paper, a new type of portable transcranial instrument is developed, using LabVIEW to develop the upper computer system, the output electrical stimulation parameters are controlled by the upper computer, and the lower computer uses the STM32 microcontroller with low power consumption as the main control chip, and the upper computer software displays the parameter information during operation. the experiments show that the instrument is characterized by strong controllability, high portability and stability, and has high practical value.

Driving range and battery power supply technology are the main constraints to the popularity of pure electric vehicles. Regenerative braking energy recovery can improve the energy utilisation of the whole vehicle and increase the driving range of new energy vehicles. Regarding the key technology of regenerative braking, the research of regenerative braking control strategy is described. Regenerative braking strategies are summarised in terms of braking intent recognition, braking force distribution and wheel cylinder pressure control, while energy management is summarised in terms of energy flow analysis and energy recovery effect evaluation, and future research and development trends of regenerative braking key technologies are outlooked.

With the development of computer vision systems, image enhancement has become an important research direction in computer vision. Image defogging technology is widely used in the systems of satellite remote sensing, aerial photography, target recognition and outdoor monitoring. People use image defogging technology to enhance or repair those low-quality pictures affected by fog and haze to improve visual effects and facilitate later image processing. this paper introduces the application field of image enhancement technology, and introduces the classic defogging algorithm in image defogging technology: the Retinex algorithm. In this paper, the algorithm is used to defog the pictures affected by smog in different scenes, and the advantages and disadvantages of the Retinex defogging algorithm are discussed according to the enhanced effect. Finally, this paper analyzes the effectiveness and practicality of using the Retinex algorithm for image enhancement in different scenes.

the analysis of the properties of modern composite materials and the characteristics of towers made of such materials has made it possible to determine the advantages of using fibreglass and basalt plastic towers in electrical networks, which contributes to the spread of composite towers in electrical networks of all voltage classes. An analysis of the world experience of introducing towers made of composite materials was carried out, which showed a steady trend towards an increase in the number of such towers in electrical networks located in remote areas and in areas with difficult climatic and natural conditions. Mathematical modelling of the mechanical characteristics of the state of intermediate and anchor towers made of composite materials was performed, which allows taking into account the peculiarities of load distribution along the tower during its operation in certain climatic conditions, as well as the properties of structures made of polymeric materials during their deformation. Using the proposed mathematical models, the mechanical and technical characteristics were calculated as a result of deformations due to various impacts that are typical for the operation of the investigated towers. the analysis of the determined parameters is carried out and the necessity of taking into account the properties of towers made of composite materials for the development of design standards for power lines with such towers is substantiated.

Vehicle number plate recognition (VNPR) is a critical component in various transportation and security applications. this paper presents a novel approach to VNPR leveraging Adaptive Recurrent Neural Networks (ARNNs). Our method employs an ARNN architecture designed to process sequential data, allowing for efficient extraction of features from license plate images. We utilize a dataset consisting of labeled vehicle images for training and evaluation. through extensive experimentation, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, achieving high accuracy in license plate recognition tasks. Our results highlight the potential of ARNN-based methods in the field of VNPR, paving the way for improved automation and efficiency in transportation systems and law enforcement.

the proposal of dynamic wireless charging (DWC) provides a new idea for the development of new energy vehicles, that is, charging while driving the car to reduce unnecessary waiting time, because in the process of electric vehicle driving, the mutual inductance coefficient between the coils will inevitably change greatly, resulting in the system in an unhealthy working state for a long time and the output power can’t be stabilized within the rated range. In recent years, a large number of research methods have been proposed to address the problem of power fluctuations. these methods can be broken down into three main areas: changing the coil structure, optimizing compensation, and applying a controller to stabilize the output power. In this paper, the mutual inductance and voltage fluctuation problems of dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) systems are analyzed, and then the current research progress on magnetic coil structure, compensation network topology and control scheme is expounded, and finally the research progress is summarized and prospected.
