In the field of software engineering, intention mining is an interesting but challenging task, where the goal is to have a good understanding of user generated texts so as to capture their requirements that are useful for software maintenance and evolution. Recently, BERT and its variants have achieved state-of-the-art performance among various natural language processing tasks such as machine translation, machine reading comprehension and natural language inference. However, few studies try to investigate the efficacy of pre-trained language models in the task. In this paper, we present a new baseline with fine-tuned BERT model. Our method achieves state-of-the-art results on three benchmark data sets, outscoring baselines by a substantial margin. We also further investigate the efficacy of the pre-trained BERT model with shallower network depths through a simple strategy for layer selection.

In recent years, an increased interest in the adaption of agile software development by companies. Using iterative methodology enables them to do issue-based estimation and respond quickly to changes in the requirements. Agile methodology adopts Story Point Approach to estimate the effort that involves a user story or a resolving issue. Unlike traditional estimation, Agile Methodology focuses on individual programming task estimation instead of whole project estimation. In this work, we approach story point estimation using the RNN-CNN model. We consider the contextual information in a user story in both forward and backward directions to build the RNN-CNN model. the proposed model adopts a Bi-directional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM), a tree-structured Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), tries to predict a story point for a user story description. Here, BiLSTM forward and backward feature learning will make network preserve the sequence data and CNN makes feature extraction accurate. the experimental results show the improvement in estimating the story points with a user story as an input using the proposed RNN-CNN. Furthermore, the analysis shows that the proposed RNN-CNN model outperforms the existing model and gives 74.2 % R 2 Score on the Bamboo data set.

With the development of rectification technology and DC equipment, hybrid DC-AC transmission has arisen in the distribution network. In addition, the penetration of distributed generation(DG) in the distribution network makes the analysis of power system more complicated. As a key measure of grid programming and operating, a practical power flow method of DC-AC distribution network is urgent to study. Firstly, the mathematical model of DGs is given in this paper, and the analysis of the operation and control mode of DC-AC distribution system with voltage source converter(VSC) is conducted. then a calculation method of hybrid DC-AC distribution system with DGs is proposed, in which constant-power DG, voltage controlled DG and DG with voltage static characteristic is concerned. An improved forward backward sweep method is given, concerning VSC, AC circuits, DC circuits and various type of DGs, which achieves the purpose of unified DC-AC power flow calculation. Finally, case study for a 90-node distribution network with DG integration is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.

In order to measure the refugee crisis, we adopt analytic hierarchy process(AHP), taking individuals themselves. then we got a criterion to measure the refugee crisis. the results of the analytic hierarchy process are consistent with the actual situation, which shows that the selected parameters are relatively reasonable. To determine the optimal flow model, we use the min-cost max-flow algorithm to develop a reasonable flow of refugees. We set the target to be the minimum amount of death, the fastest to move and the most balanced of routes. three strategies can be set correspondingly. the first strategy is regarded as the best, in which the number of casualties is minimal and other. Multi-objective optimization dynamic programming model was used to realize the best allocation of resources in different regions. We studied the change of three resources, accommodation, health care and food. Our result shows that the feed is the biggest consumption, followed by the capacity to house and protect. therefore, food needs priority. When the non-governmental organizations and other refugee destinations are added, the tendency of the change becomes *** considered the impact of exogenous events, such as terrorist attack. the number of entry points and the routes they must take may be changed completely. With the change of the capacity of countries, the best migration strategy will change accordingly.

In a smart city powered by the 5G network, a large amount of data never seen before will be generated. the conventional cloud computing paradigm cannot fulfil users' needs, especially for low latency. the new edge computing paradigm is emerging to mitigate the this problem. there has been some prominent research results in the field of edge computing, but most of the work is based on the assumption that edge servers have been deployed at ideal locations, and little attention has been paid to how edge servers are deployed in a geographic area. In this paper, we study how to deploy edge servers cost-effectively so that the collective area of edge servers is maximized under a certain deployment budget. In addition, there are two issues to consider in the deployment of edge servers. the first is the deployment cost, and the second is the area covered by those edge servers. For the first issue, a dynamic programming algorithm is proposed to find a solution. the key idea is to find the maximum area under a given cost. For the second issue, the geometric image approach is used to calculate the area covered by the edge server. the results of the experiments conducted on a real-world dataset demonstrate, our method is superior to several representative methods in terms of coverage maximization and running time.

By allowing users to stay connected to one another, chat applications provide a simple platform for bringing people together. Today’s messaging apps have a larger global user base than traditional social networks, which means they will become increasingly important in the spread of digital information over time. this is accomplished using Flutter, a powerful framework constructed using the Dart programming language. Instead of using a native framework, it provides high UI right in the operating system workspace. Backend-as-Service is offered by Firebase, a modern app development platform on the Google *** real-time database allows the storage of a list of objects as a treelike data structure. the purpose of this research project is to create a chat room for Android smartphones utilising the Flutter framework. Google is used to generate the database in order to give the customer security. the project’s model is the recent rise in importance of communication over the internet. Users of internet communication can communicate with others quickly and conveniently. In light of this, the web communication tool should allow users to send texts or photos or the other files more quickly, with little to no wait, or without any delay. One of the platforms that offers time-based information cloud services and enables developers to create these applications with simplicity is Firebase. Instantaneous electronic communication is going to be viewed as a platform for maintaining communication. Compared to other platforms like iOS, mechanical man offers a better environment for the development of a variety of applications for instant electronic communication. the main objective of this paper is to present a package application for initiating real-time communication between users and operators. With the assistance of the internet, users of the mechanical man-based system can text each other. Every device must be online for the system to function.

A language dies when the population that speaks it fails to pass it to their future generations. this study aims to address such problems for the Eskayas and Boholanos. the proposed EskayApp is an OCR Transliteration e-Learning Android Application that will serve as a tool to learn Eskaya. the app uses the k-Nearest Neighbors Algorithm (k-NN) for its business logic layer or backend and Supervised Machine Learning to create the application programming interface (API) for the said application. the Android application accesses the camera to capture an image of an Eskaya character and returns the Latin transliteration and the equivalent Latin character. the application got a 4.524-star rating through Google Play Store. After conducting testing, the machine learning model accuracy was 89.93% based on a 2x2 confusion matrix. A usability test was also conducted with members of the tribe as respondents. the usability review has 3 measurement items in which users can respond from 1 (Very Poor) to 5 (Excellent). the average for all the measurement items gathered from the users is 4.3-star and all the respondents want to use the e-Learning application again.

Code smells slow down software system development and makes them harder to maintain. Existing research aims to develop automatic detection algorithms to reduce the labor and time costs within the detection process. Deep learning techniques have recently been demonstrated to enhance the performance of recognizing code smells even more than metric-based heuristic detection algorithms. As large-scale pre-trained models for programming Languages (PL), such as CodeT5, have lately achieved the top results in a variety of downstream tasks, some researchers begin to explore the use of pre-trained models to extract the contextual semantics of code to detect code smells. However, little research has employed contextual code semantics relationship between code snippets obtained by pre-trained models to identify code smells. In this paper, we investigate the use of the pre-trained model CodeT5 to extract semantic relationships between code snippets to detect feature envy, which is one of the most common code smells. In addition, to investigate the performance of these semantic relationships extracted by pre-trained models of different architectures on detecting feature envy, we compare CodeT5 with two other pre-trained models CodeBERT and CodeGPT. We have performed our experimental evaluation on ten open-source projects, our approach improves F-measure by 29.32% on feature envy detection and 16.57% on moving destination recommendation. Using semantic relations extracted by several pre-trained models to detect feature envy outperforms the state-of-the-art. this shows that using this semantic relation to detect feature envy is promising. To enable future research on feature envy detection, we have made all the code and datasets utilized in this article open source.

In today's world, technology is emerging rapidly with new breakthroughs and innovation. Technology has entered the entertainment field in ways that were unimaginable a few years ago, significantly enhancing the user experience to make it as enjoyable and immersive as possible. One of its major components is gaming. Games nowadays are using the most advanced technology and machinery available in the industry, pushing the boundaries of what is possible, so they can meet users' requirements. For example, high-end game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity, along with sophisticated programming languages and graphic design tools, have become industry standards and have been used for many decades. However, games now boast entirely unique features such as VR (Virtual Reality), which uses VR headsets and eye tracking (to mimic the game character's dynamic field of view), and AR (Augmented Reality), which represents in-game content in the real world using camera devices or AR headsets. these technologies are revolutionizing the gaming landscape, creating experiences that were once confined to science fiction. AR is an emerging technology developed in recent years, although the early devices and concepts were introduced by the U.S. Air Force Armstrong Laboratory in 1992. However, at that time, it was not accurate enough to implement in 3D games due to a lack of resources and technological advancement. With significant strides in technology, particularly in processing power and sensor accuracy, AR has now reached a level of maturity that is drawing considerable attention from developers. As a result, many companies have started to develop 3D AR games or have plans to do so in the near future. this trend is expected to grow exponentially, with AR becoming a key component in the future of interactive gaming.

Video Games have been a very popular form of digital entertainment in recent years. they have been delivered in state of the art technologies that include multi-core processors that are known to be the leading contributor in enhancing the performance of computer applications. Since parallel programming is a difficult technology to implement, that field in Video Games is still rich with areas for advancements. this paper investigates performance enhancement in Video Games when using parallelizing compilers and the difficulties involved in achieving that. this experiment conducts several stages in attempting to parallelize a well-renowned sequentially written Video Game called ioquake3. First, the Game is profiled for discovering bottlenecks, then examined by hand on how much parallelism could be extracted from those bottlenecks, and what sort of hazards exist in delivering a parallel-friendly version of ioquake3. then, the Game code is rewritten into a hazard-free version while also modified to comply with the Parallelizable-C rules, which crucially aid parallelizing compilers in extracting parallelism. Next, the program is compiled using a parallelizing compiler called OSCAR (Optimally Scheduled Advanced Multiprocessor) to produce a parallel version of ioquake3. Finally, the performance of the newly produced parallel version of ioquake3 on a Multi-core platform is analyzed. the following is found: (1) the parallelized game by the compiler from the revised sequential program of the game is found to achieve a 5.1 faster performance at 8-threads than original one on an IBM Power 5+ machine that is equipped with 8-cores, and (2) hazards are caused by thread contentions over globally shared data, and as well as thread private data, and (3) AI driven players are represented very similarly to Human players inside ioquake3 engine, which gives an estimation of the costs for parallelizing Human driven sessions, and (4) 70% of the costs of the experiment is spent in analyzing
