A dark-web exploring tool that prioritizes performance and anonymity is described in the study. It utilizes the Tor network to ensure anonymity, features onion domain status checking, captures headers, provides directory fuzzing, aggregates results from multiple dark-web search engines, uses multithreading to improve performance, and rebuilds Tor circuits for each session to maintain security. Some of the major core functionalities that this tool includes are metadata scraping, making sure it tries to capture server headers, captures screenshots, and is able to include directory fuzzing with Ferox Buster. Outputs can be exported in CSV, JSON, and PDF formats. the future extensions for advanced security analysis and real-time monitoring make it a scalable solution for dark web research and reconnaissance. © 2025 IEEE.

With the arrival of the new era, computer technology has also developed rapidly on the basis of electronic technology. the development of these technologies usually also supports the development and application of artificial intelligence technology. For example, applying artificial intelligence technology to the field of robot action path planning. In order to solve the problems of low efficiency and path errors encountered in robot path planning, this paper proposes a research method for robot path planning based on artificial potential field method. this method first constructs an environment map on a two-dimensional plane based on the motion environment of the robot, which includes all obstacle points and free points; then, based on the principle of artificial potential field algorithm, the MATLAB software environment is used for programming to implement the artificial potential field algorithm model; then set the relevant program running parameters to make the algorithm model run; Finally, two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualization charts are used to display the combined forces, midway search process, costs, and paths during the planning process. After 749 iterative searches, the system has planned a reasonable red path that meets the expected requirements and can be promoted for use.

In modern web applications, service-oriented architecture (SOA) allows enterprises to use reusable functional components and form interoperable services. From an applicative viewpoint, the services use standard interfaces and communication protocols, where the associated service and operations are decoupled via microservices. this removes the redundancy in task development and provides interoperability with back-end legacy frameworks. With the advent of Web 3.0, the requirement is even more critical as services communicate over open wireless channels, and an adversary may gain access to confidential information through associated application programming interface (API) points. Until now, limited research has been carried out to understand the critical visions of SOA architecture and its associated enablers. thus, motivated by the research gap, we discuss the SOA vision, its key components, and enabling technologies in this article. We present a discussion of SOA with the web and the critical communication protocols to support the case. Next, we discuss the security viewpoint of SOA and address the critical security principles. Research challenges are suggested, and a case study is presented that integrates blockchain (BC) and Web 3.0 with SOA architecture in healthcare ecosystems. the tutorial aims to let the readers gain valuable insights into SOA integration into web-based applicative frameworks. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In many universities around the world, Java is popularly used for teaching basic programming to novice students. To accommodate this reality, we have developed Java programming Learning Assistant System (JPLAS) as a self-study tool. JPLAS offers several types of exercise problems that have different learning goals and difficulty levels. However, they assume that learners are familiar with a code editor to type programming code, although they may be first-year undergraduate students and have no experience. In this paper, we present the Code Typing Problem (CTP) as a new type in JPLAS to help them practice code typing in an editor. CTP has two levels of exercises, namely, basic and advanced, to enhance its usage. the basic CTP requests to type the given code as it is in input forms. the advanced CTP gives a code with several errors of incorrect elements and requests to type the corrected code by understanding the grammar and behaviour. the error injection algorithm is presented to add errors in a code automatically. For evaluations, we generated 17 basic and 6 advanced CTP instances, and assigned them to 21 second-semester and 46 first-semester students in State Malang Polytechnic, Indonesia. their answer results showed that most students solved all the instances correctly, which confirms the validity. However, as the number of solving students decreased in the advanced CTP, improvements will be necessary in future works.

Infrared and terahertz waves contain a wealth of information that can be used effectively in medicine, agronomy and environmental monitoring. Terahertz wave detectors can also be used to detect small changes in semiconductor chips to improve their functional performance. Among many advanced materials such as room-temperature infrared-terahertz wave detectors, perovskites are favored due to their long carrier diffusion distance, low processing cost and large-scale preparation. In this paper, we used sulfonated graphene oxide (s-GO) to modify the grain boundaries of methylaminolead iodide perovskites (MAPbI3) to reduce the obstruction of grain boundary defects to the generation and transport of MAPbI3 photothermal carriers. the s-GO was used to stabilize the grain boundary defects and promote the carrier transport of MAPbI3, so as to improve the responsivity of the s-GO/MAPbI3 bolometer detector to infrared-terahertz waves, so that the current responsivity to 1064 nm infrared light was 47.5 μA/W and the current responsivity to 1.36 mm terahertz light was 0.17 μA/W. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

this paper presents nonlinear optimal classification trees, an advanced approach developed to enhance the accuracy and interpretability of classification trees. By integrating kernel-based methods and symbolic functions, our models provide a more precise approximation of decision boundaries, resulting in compact and interpretable trees. Additionally, we introduce an improved margin-shifting algorithm that increases the model's robustness. Experiments on 21 public datasets confirm that our methods can significantly surpass traditional decision trees and previous optimal tree models in and with more compact models, establishing them as an effective solution for complex classification tasks.

Data center optical networks need to periodically reconfigure the networks to deal with traffic changes. Prior to network reconfiguration, tenant requests are known. Adjusting tenant spectrum demand not only predicts application performance, but also improves network throughput. this paper investigates an adaptive spectrum time assignment (ASTA) problem in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing data center optical networks, which is modeled by Integer Linear programming (ILP). However, in large-scale networks, the ILP model cannot provide an optimal solution within an acceptable time. To address this problem, the most data volume first with an adaptive 90 rotation MDVFA90 R algorithm is proposed in this paper, which is a heuristic algorithm with an adaptive 90 rotation and can find a sub-optimal solution within a shorter time. Simulation results verify that the ILP model can provide an optimal solution for small-scale networks, while the MDVFA $90 R algorithm can provide a better sub-optimal solution for large-scale networks.

Machine learning (ML) inference-based applications are often considered to be computationally expensive and power exhaustive, restricting useful deployment in low-power use cases. To take advantage of ML in power-constrained edge environments, it is critical to reduce the power consumption and increase the overall efficiency, while aiming for performance *** present a characteristics study of a low-powered implementation of ML inference focused on-the-edge, aiming for increased efficiency and predictive cost estimation. A scalable inference accelerator architecture for Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) consisting of simple functional blocks was developed at Register-transfer Level (RTL) using Verilog® Hardware Description Language (HDL), and was verified at RTL-level verification using RTL testbenches. the integrated system went through functional verification against a predefined golden model, while being optimized for precision and logic *** accelerator was then converted into a fully-parameterized Reconfigurable FPGA IP with additional purpose-built custom debugging glue logic; and validated on FPGA hardware. the system showed a minimum of 740 times acceleration factor during recorded performance evaluations.

To tackle the challenges of poor power quality and high line losses in remote mountainous areas due to long distribution lines and heavy loads, we propose a distributed energy storage optimization method based on genetic algorithms. Considering the geographic constraints of these regions and the ongoing development of electricity infrastructure, the method maintains grid safety and cost-effectiveness through a two-tier model for optimizing energy storage placement and capacity. the upper layer focuses on minimizing the installation costs of energy storage devices by optimizing their locations and capacities, while the lower layer aims to minimize distribution system operation and maintenance costs by reducing network losses and voltage deviations. An adaptive genetic algorithm is used for the upper layer, and a solver is employed for the lower layer. A simulation on a remote mountainous distribution system demonstrates that, compared to centralized energy storage, the optimized configuration of distributed energy storage improves both the economic efficiency and the stability and reliability of the system.

Controlling and reducing carbon emissions has become an important challenge. the stepped carbon trading mechanism, as a flexible market-based instrument, provides a new strategy for carbon emission management in the Integrated Energy System (IES) and promotes the economic and low-carbon development of the system. this study constructs an IES model based on a stepped carbon trading mechanism and incorporates relevant operational constraints. Minimizing the total cost of IES as the objective function, and the commercial solver CPLEX was used to solve it to achieve the optimal operating goal. As a key factor in carbon trading, changes in carbon price parameters can affect carbon trading cost and total cost, leading to changes in IES scheduling optimization strategies. To investigate the impact of changes in carbon price parameters on the optimization of IES, simulations were conducted to verify the system by altering the base price and interval length. the results show that the system can flexibly adjust the equipment output according to the change of carbon price parameters to change the carbon emissions, so as to achieve the optimal operation of the system.
