With ever-advancing microprocessor technology and System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, it is required to effectively interface and connect the high-speed devices on the board/chip along with the relatively low-speed and low-frequency components. this is where on-chip interconnects come into the picture with the ARM-based AMBA bus systems. While the AMBA protocol is further divided into multiple types of sub-protocols optimized for high or low speed peripherals, this work will solely focus on the advanced Peripheral Bus (APB) Protocol. this paper aims to provide a comprehensive survey of some of the notable research and works that have been done to design and verify this protocol, utilizing a spectrum of different tools and methodologies. this survey looks at previous works where different DUTs are used as slave for the APB interface (DAC/ADC and Inter-Integrated Circuits), and where assertion, code-based and functional coverage have been obtained, with a maximum of 100 and 97 percent functional and code coverage respectively.

With the advancement of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) technology, network programmability and flexibility have been significantly enhanced. However, effectively integrating traditional network systems with emerging programmable platforms remains a critical research challenge. this paper proposes a fusion architecture based on the P4Runtime protocol to achieve deep integration of SONiC white box switches and the P4 platform. By introducing SDN programmability, we design and implement a hybrid model that enables traditional network architectures to achieve advanced functionalities with the assistance of external SDN controllers. this paper provides a detailed discussion of the architecture design and implementation process, including P4 code development, compilation, target configuration file generation, and interaction mechanisms between the control plane and the data plane. Furthermore, we validate the applicability and performance of the architecture in various scenarios, offering robust support for future research and applications in programmable networks.

this article discusses the importance of the IoT perception layer testing platform, analyzes the shortcomings of existing platforms, and proposes a new platform design scheme that integrates automated testing, intelligent analysis, and visual display. this platform aims to comprehensively test the performance of perception layer protocol, improve the credibility of testing by simulating real scenarios. the system design includes a three-tier architecture, functional modules, and database management, supporting remote login, online programming, data collection, and real-time monitoring. the platform also implements effective communication between browsers and servers, as well as between servers and perception nodes under the B/S architecture, providing users with rich testing functions and real-time feedback.

By studying the appearance of peppers, according to the top of the peppers are easy to form the characteristics of the string, this design selects the comb type picking head, the overall width of the comb blade is $\mathbf{1 5 0} \mathbf{~ m m}$, and the plate thickness is $\mathbfth$ mm. Use Solidworks to draw the whole machine structure and picking head design part of the transmission structure. In addition, when picking peppercorns need to consider the battery problem, it is impossible to carry a large number of batteries each time picking, so this design uses utility complementary off-grid photovoltaic power generation system, charging the battery of the picking machine by the utility, plus a 620 W high-power photovoltaic modules to the picking machine for power supply, to extend the picking machine’s working time is 15%. By analyzing the functional requirements of the pepper picker, designing it in the hardware and software parts, determining the minimum system composition of the system master control composed of STM32 chip, and building the simulation model, and verifying the reasonableness of the picker by simulation with Proteus software. Finally, it is analyzed in terms of economic benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits. the design research has important practical significance and can significantly improve the picking efficiency and reduce the cost of manual picking.

this study aims to fabricate SiC whisker (w)/particle (p)-reinforced magnesium (Mg) composites with enhanced mechanical properties using spark plasma sintering (SPS) methods. It has been confirmed that dispersing state of SiCw can be improved by addition of SiCp. However, due to presence of voids and cracks between the oxide layers, surrounding SiCw/p, and Mg matrix in the composites, SiCw with SiCp cannot contribute to enhance the bending strength of Mg matrix. this issue can be tackled by adding low melting point metals such as Sn into the composites to fill the defects in the composites. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

Accurately pinpointing the locations where proteins bind to DNA is crucial for the discovery of novel drug targets and the development of targeted therapeutic strategies. In this study, a graph neural network architecture called GraphSAGE has notably improved the precision of predicting protein-DNA binding sites. this model represents protein sequences as a graph, with amino acid residues serving as nodes, and employs a pre-trained, large-scale protein language model as ESM to derive residues’ features. the effectiveness of the model was rigorously evaluated using ten-fold cross-validation on benchmark datasets, including PDNA-316, PDNA-335, and PDNA-543, yielding Matthews Correlation Coefficients (MCC) of 0.741, 0.750, and 0.735, respectively. these results demonstrate considerable improvements over the existing state-of-the-art methods, with respective increments of 0.207, 0.185, and 0.174. Furthermore, the methodology is not only confined to binding site prediction but is also extensible to applications in protein functional annotation, drug discovery, and pharmaceutical design. the entire codebase for this project can be accessed without restriction through the subsequent URL: https://***/primrosehry/iProtDNA-SAGE.

the capture of CO 2 is of paramount importance for mitigating the global climate change attributed to CO 2 emissions. Existing CO 2 capture and catalytic decomposition technologies are associated with elevated costs. In pursuit of more advanced materials, we have conducted a density functional theory investigation into CO 2 adsorption on pristine and modified MoS 2 surfaces. the outcomes reveal that Si-substituted doped MoS 2 exhibits the most favorable adsorption performance, with an adsorption energy of -2.40eV and a CO 2 electron loss of 0.01e. Intrinsic MoS 2 exhibits an adsorption energy of -2.08eV, resulting in a CO 2 electron gain of 0.02e. S-vacancy defective MoS 2 demonstrates an adsorption energy of -2.10eV, leading to a CO 2 electron gain of 0.03e. Computational results underscore the robust adsorption capability of Si-substituted doped MoS 2 , highlighting the viability of Si atom substitution as a means to enhance the adsorption properties of MoS 2 for CO 2 gas sensing and carbon capture applications.

Neuroimaging has significantly advanced our understanding of brain structure and function in both healthy and diseased states. However, due to the brain's complexity, a comprehensive approach involving multiple imaging techniques is necessary. this review provides an overview of the integration of various imaging modalities in neurology, particularly focusing on their applications in mapping the brain. It discusses how combining structural, functional, and molecular imaging methods such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) allows for a more thorough examination of brain anatomy, connectivity, and understanding, thereby improving diagnosis and treatment effectiveness in neurological disorders. the review also explores recent progress in image acquisition, data fusion, and computational techniques that facilitate the integration of multimodal imaging data. Additionally, it examines emerging trends like machine learning and artificial intelligence, which offer potential for automating image analysis and identifying new disease biomarkers. Finally, by addressing challenges and future directions in the field, including the need for standardized protocols, initiatives for data sharing, and ethical considerations.

Carbon nanotube (CNT) has received broad scientific and industrial attention due to their excellent mechanical and functional properties. However, CNT has not been effectively used for high performance composites because of degradation of mechanical properties due to insufficient dispersibility of CNT in the matrix. In this study, CNT/ aluminum (Al) matrix functionally graded materials (FGMs) have been focused on. the processes of dispersion of CNT have been carried out with the solvent of dimethylacetamide, and the dispersing agent of potassium carbonate, which is an inorganic salt, under ultrasonic sonication conditions. Centrifugal slurry methods have been applied to obtain gradient of content of CNT in CNT/ Al matrix FGMs. Tribological characteristics on CNT/ Al matrix FGMs have been investigated using a ball-on-disk tribometer. It has been demonstrated that CNT contributes to enhance wear resistances. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

the speedy evolution of cyber threats is a serious threat to the protection of sensitive health information, with increasing threats from quantum computing. Conventional security does not keep up with evolving threats, and innovative solutions are needed. this paper introduces a secure hybrid cloud architecture that combines post-quantum cryptography (PQC), advanced hashing, and quantum key distribution (QKD) to authenticate further and protect data in healthcare systems. the primary mission is to generate an attack-resistant authentication process, robust data integrity assurance, and a functional system for key management with extensibility and regulation compliance. the considered infrastructure utilizes PQC-based robust encryption, robust hashing to authenticate data integrity, and QKD for providing secure key exchange augmented with multi-factor authentication. Implementing quantum-resistant protocols properly secures healthcare data in public and private cloud centers. Performance testing reveals a 99.6% overall success rate, 99.8% key exchange success, and 99.9% detection accuracy with QKD. PQC integration offers robust encryption, and advanced hashing techniques offer tamper-evident data integrity. the results establish the strong security, scalability, and quantum age cyber threat tolerance of the approach as a secure solution for guarding healthcare applications and delivering confidential, integrity-guaranteeing data protection.
