Carbon nanotube (CNT) has received broad scientific and industrial attention due to their excellent mechanical and functional properties. However, CNT has not been effectively used for high performance composites because of degradation of mechanical properties due to insufficient dispersibility of CNT in the matrix. In this study, CNT/ aluminum (Al) matrix functionally graded materials (FGMs) have been focused on. the processes of dispersion of CNT have been carried out with the solvent of dimethylacetamide, and the dispersing agent of potassium carbonate, which is an inorganic salt, under ultrasonic sonication conditions. Centrifugal slurry methods have been applied to obtain gradient of content of CNT in CNT/ Al matrix FGMs. Tribological characteristics on CNT/ Al matrix FGMs have been investigated using a ball-on-disk tribometer. It has been demonstrated that CNT contributes to enhance wear resistances. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

the speedy evolution of cyber threats is a serious threat to the protection of sensitive health information, with increasing threats from quantum computing. Conventional security does not keep up with evolving threats, and innovative solutions are needed. this paper introduces a secure hybrid cloud architecture that combines post-quantum cryptography (PQC), advanced hashing, and quantum key distribution (QKD) to authenticate further and protect data in healthcare systems. the primary mission is to generate an attack-resistant authentication process, robust data integrity assurance, and a functional system for key management with extensibility and regulation compliance. the considered infrastructure utilizes PQC-based robust encryption, robust hashing to authenticate data integrity, and QKD for providing secure key exchange augmented with multi-factor authentication. Implementing quantum-resistant protocols properly secures healthcare data in public and private cloud centers. Performance testing reveals a 99.6% overall success rate, 99.8% key exchange success, and 99.9% detection accuracy with QKD. PQC integration offers robust encryption, and advanced hashing techniques offer tamper-evident data integrity. the results establish the strong security, scalability, and quantum age cyber threat tolerance of the approach as a secure solution for guarding healthcare applications and delivering confidential, integrity-guaranteeing data protection.

the problem of harmful content generation in LLMs arises from the varied and intricate nature of their training data. Although filtering mechanisms are employed during pre-training, completely eliminating the impact of harmful content remains challenging. Additionally, the open-ended generation nature of the model during the inference phase further complicates content control. therefore, how to effectively constrain the model's output while preserving its generative capabilities has become a critical topic in current AI safety research. Emerging research has revealed that the Chain of thought (CoT) prompting strategy plays a pivotal role in augmenting the problem-solving abilities of large language models (LLMs). By guiding these models to generate intermediate reasoning steps, CoT facilitates a more structured approach to addressing intricate tasks, particularly in fields like mathematics and programming. this advanced reasoning ability provides new pathways for enhancing the safety of LLMs. this research introduces a Security-Oriented Chain of thought (SECoT) mechanism. the SECoT framework consists of three parts: analyzing the safety of the problem, reflecting on the safety strategies involved, and formulating strategies to answer the problem, ultimately providing a final safe answer based on the above analysis, safety strategies, and response strategies. the SECoT process ensures that the response is not only well-considered but also safe. Building on this, a high-quality SECoT dataset (each entry includes five components: question, safety analysis, safety strategy, response principle, and safe answer) is further constructed and used as fine-tuning data to fine-tune LLMs in an end-to-end manner. Experimental results show that the SECoT framework enhances the safety of content generated by LLMs during the inference phase. the intermediate steps of the SECoT framework help LLMs learn how to reason about safe responses, reducing the harmful output rate of the fine-

the decision-making and evaluation of raw material ordering and transportation schemes are common in the actual production process. this paper makes an in-depth study on the formulation of ordering and transportation schemes in the future. Firstly, this paper determines the four quantitative indicators of supplier compliance rate, stability, market reputation and raw material output-input ratio with mean square deviation to weight them, establishes TOPSIS comprehensive analysis and evaluation model, and obtains the list of the top five importance to the production guarantee of the enterprise. then, the time series Arima prediction model is used to process the historical data of the supply volume of the top 50 suppliers and predict the supply volume corresponding to the next 24 weeks. the specific ordering and transshipment scheme is obtained by using the prediction value, the single objective function model of "minimum number of suppliers", double objective function model of "minimum number of suppliers + minimum cost", and the three objective function model of "minimum number of suppliers + minimum cost + minimum overall loss rate". © 2021 IEEE.

this study investigates the domain of advanced technologies and their appropriation to resolve challenges related to the supply chain. To be more specific, the lessons learned from two case studies of applying technology to enhance supply chain efficiency are Oliva Verde and Avocados Global. the former company had faced product adulteration and contamination that endangered customers’ health. By leveraging blockchain technology, it incorporated unique digital fingerprints for each bottle to ensure full transparency, minimum fraud, and efficient logistics. the described solution was not without its downsides, including the difficulty of consolidating dispersed data and the challenges of system-wide scalability. In the same way, Avocados Global has employed a supply chain with recurrent temperature check-ups and control, live tracking, and predictive analysis to address the issue of its products’ perishability and poor quality. While this technology has helped reduce waste, improve products’ quality, and overall facilitate supply chain management, the investment and organizational changes required from the business were drastic. In conclusion, both companies have successfully overcome substantial economic and organizational challenges, developing unique and highly functional technological solutions that have enhanced their supply chain efficiency and marketability. At the same time, the study makes it evident that the systematic analysis of primary and secondary data, along with adopting the most advanced technologies and partnering with other market players, could eliminate most recurring challenges – thus, the topic of future research should be best practices and technological solutions to mitigate current challenges.

Digital government is a new governance model that emerged in the era of advanced information technology. Digital government has the potential to enhance government capacities. However, it is still unknown to what extent the public service capacities of the digital government have advanced and what factors contribute to the improvement of the public service capacities of digital government. this study focuses on two major questions: (1) what is the evaluation system of digital government's public service capacity and (2) what factors influence digital government's public service capacity? this study aims to develop an evaluation system for measuring the public service capacity of digital government and figure out influencing factors that may contribute to the varying level of public service capacity. Using a systematical measuring approach can assist government agencies in understanding the developing status of their public services. Understanding the key factors contributing to the public service capacity helps government agencies identify vital points for improvement and allocate resources for developing high-quality public services. © 2021 ACM.

Universities across China have made great progress in the construction of smart campus with the rapid deployment of Internet of things (IoT). But at the same time, it also exposed some problems, such as the lack of theoretical guidance, the lack of smart campus function design, the lack of overall planning and design. Based on the six domain model of IoT, this paper designs an architecture with the overall construction of smart campus as the core. the smart campus is divided into six functional domains. the information and function description of each domain are given. Emotion recognition plays a vital role in Brain-Computer Interaction. To extract and employ the inherent information implied by functional connections among EEG electrodes, we propose a multichannel EEG emotion recognition method using convolutional neural network (CNN) with functional connectivity as input. Specifically, the phase synchronization indices are employed to compute the EEG functional connectivity matrices. then a CNN is proposed to effectively extract the classification information of these functional connections. the experimental results based on the DEAP and SEED datasets validate the superior performance of the proposed method, compared with the input of raw EEG data. the code of the proposed model is available at https://***/deep-bci/ERBCPSI. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Carbon nanotube (CNT) has been one of promising candidates as a reinforcement in metal matrix composites (MMCs) for its variety of excellent properties such as lightweight, high strength etc. It is necessary to disperse CNT to the level of each one in order to lead to efficiently reflect the excellent essential physical properties of CNT in the composites. this research investigates fabrication processes linked with dry ball milling and cold pressing followed by sintering to uniformly disperse CNT in aluminum (Al) matrix. It was found that dispersibility of CNT were improved with increasing ball milling time based on observation of morphology of mixed powders and the composites using SEM. Vickers hardness and tensile strength of CNT/ Al composites increased with increasing ball milling time up to 24 hours, while they were constant or decreased because of increase of voids in case of longer than 24 hours of ball milling time. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

this paper studies the problem of the minimum battery capacity required for the normal operation of each sensor when the charging path of the mobile charger is determined. When the parameters of the wireless rechargeable sensor network are determined, the aim is to minimize the battery capacity required by each sensor, and to ensure the permanent operation of the wireless rechargeable sensor network with the minimum sensor energy consumption. By analyzing the actual working conditions of mobile charger, a linear programming model with the goal of minimizing the battery capacity of each sensor is established, Lingo is used to solve the model, and the results are verified by computer simulation. the results show that the computer simulation results are basically consistent with the model solution results, which proved the reliability of the model. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
