We propose a new exact method for bi-objective vehicle routing problems where edges are associated with two costs. the method generates the minimum complete Pareto front of the problem by combining the scalarization of the objective function and the column generation technique. the aggregated objective allows to apply the exact algorithm for the mono-objective vehicle routing problem of Baldacci et al. (2008). the algorithm is applied to a bi-objective VRP with time-windows. Computational results are compared with a classical bi-objective technique. the results show the pertinence of the new method, especially for clustered instances.
Traditional compiler approaches to optimize power efficiency aim to adjust voltage and frequency at runtime to match the code characteristics to the hardware (e.g., running memory-bound phases at a lower frequency). H...

Computer generated hologram (CGH) is a promising technology for realizing 3D displays. Large-scale CGH has an advantage that it resolves problems of existing 3D displays. However, the large-scale CGH generation requires a lot of memory space and computation time in proportion to pixel number. Further, in order to use CGH as a display, it needs to be generated in real time, and this is the reason why CGH does not suit to practical use. Computation of CGH is comprised of data-independent operations and current GPU has thousands of processing cores. thus, acceleration of CGH generation can be expected by using GPU. To accelerate CGH generation processing, we adapt several parallelization and optimization techniques to the CGH program both for single node and multiple ones. the single node optimization techniques include the way of object decomposition, the reduction of data transfer amount between CPU and GPU, the kernel integration, stream processing, and the utilization of multi-GPU parallelism. the multi-node optimization includes inter-node data distribution method. the results show that we have achieved 134.7 times speed-up compared to sequential program execution by CPU.

In recent year's renewable energy sources have become a useful alternative for the power generation. Moreover conventional sources cause the pollution and global warming. In this work, the sun tracking algorithm is developed to track sun position to receive maximum radiation. DC power from solar panel is fed to the buck-boost converter for the adjustment of voltage at load end. the mathematical modeling of system component is done in MATLAB code. For maximum power point tracking artificial intelligent tools such as artificial neural network (ANN) is used. In this proposed system two control algorithms is applied simultaneously to get maximum power at output end. the complete system efficiency is obtained. System analysis is done in Kurukshetra India, so the latitude angle is taken accordingly.

In this paper we consider the problem of asynchronous CDMA (code Division Multiple Access) systems performance optimization by proper selection of spreading sequences (codes). the computational complexity involved induces the search for sub-optimal procedures and the numerical method of `simulated annealing' is applied for this particular problem. Despite the simplicity and arbitrariness of the algorithm, the results are amazing. these results confirm the possibility of performance improvement by sequence selection using the method of simulated annealing. Its advantage, in terms of argument of function Q(.) (assuming `strong signal', that is, negligible N0 / A2.T), is 1.0 dB when we compare, for a single user, the worst and best cases.

this paper presents an analytically designed layered decoding algorithm for quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes in the 5thgeneration (5G) New Radio (NR) mobile communication system. First, a layered density evolution (DE) based on reciprocal channel approximation (RCA) is newly developed to accurately reflect the layered decoding operation in the decoder design. Using this technique, a single nested sequence is optimized in a greedy way to configure the processing order for any given number of layers. the error-correction performance is improved by up to 0.15 dB, while the number of iterations is reduced by about one simultaneously.
