the current study aims to bridge a crucial gap in existing research, potentially paving the way for a groundbreaking transformation in the development and application of PLA/Brass composites within diverse industries such as aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, and medical devices. the primary objective of this research is to assess the mechanical properties of a composite material made up of Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Brass, produced using Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printing technology. Brass, renowned for its exceptional mechanical properties, has been integrated into PLA to form this composite material. the study employs various analytical techniques, including Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX), to scrutinize the chemical and physical characteristics of the PLA/Brass composite. this research revolves around exploring the impact of different printing parameters on the mechanical behavior of the printed specimens. the investigation delves into aspects such as tensile strength, compression resistance, bending properties, and impact resistance. To achieve this, test specimens with varying compositions have been produced using a Raise3D N2 Plus FDM 3D printer, with careful manipulation of printing parameters such as layer height and printing speed. the compositional variations range from 15% wt. to 80% wt., with layer height values spanning 0.25 mm, 0.30 mm, and 0.35 mm, and printing speeds ranging from 20 mm/s to 40 mm/s. the outcomes of this research have revealed the distinct influences of specific printing parameters on various mechanical properties. For example, in the context of tensile testing, it was observed that the combination of a layer height of 0.25 mm and a printing speed of 30 mm/s resulted in the highest elastic modulus. Nowadays, 5G driven wireless technology is getting more attention due to its capability of ensuring high bandwidth, faster data transfer, low latency and system-on-chip (SoC) compactness. New and more effective antenna designs are necessary for these radio communication systems. this research paper presents a novel omnidirectional broadband microstrip antenna development for usage in point-to-point gateway terminals for the industrial internet of things (IIoT) and 5G Sub-6 GHz enabled cellular networks. the broadband antenna structure operates from 3 GHz to 4.3 GHz. the finite element method has been used in computer simulation microwave studio (CST-MWS) software to compute, simulate, and optimize the dimensions of the antenna and its operational settings. the antenna holds a compact dimension, measuring of $38\times 28\times 0.79 mm^th$. Rogers RT5880 material, which has a dielectric constant of 2.2 and a thickness of 0.79 mm, is chosen as the substrate for the antenna construction. the discussed antenna structure offers a low reflection coefficient of -37.76 dB at 3.70 GHz, a standard gain of 2.10 - 3.70 dB, a standard directivity of 2.70 – 3.90 GHz, a greater operating bandwidth of 1.30 GHz, an omnidirectional radiation pattern, and high energy efficient property.

In this paper, nonlinear prediction of speech is performed by using a radial basis function (RBF) network. the RBF network has the parameters: (1) dimension of the input vector; (2) number of hidden nodes; (3) basis function; (4) centers; (5) widths and (6) weights to be selected. the complexity and the performance heavily depend on the input dimension and the number of centers. Reduction of complexity while maintaining the performance by decreasing both is still an open problem. the hierarchically self-organizing algorithm, which automatically adjusts the number of centers, with a dynamical systems approach is suggested as a solution. this algorithm is compared to standard approaches vis extensive computer simulations.

the high data latency in real-world applications makes the standard online training platform incompatible. As a result, online video-based English teaching system is created using computer algorithms and 5G wireless network communication technologies. the Multimedia English online teaching platform's overall architecture is created with the actual functional requirements of online instruction in mind. the main controller, memory, and data collector hardware are used in this architecture to create the platform. the software components can be separated into two sections according to 5G wireless network communication technology and advanced computer algorithms. It is composed of several useful modules. the administrator, teacher, and student submodules' primary tasks serve as the foundation for the creation of the platform's functional modules. Simultaneously, the analytic hierarchy method and the evaluation domain are combined to calculate the weight of the indicators and establish the quality evaluation of online multimedia English instruction. the platform design is finished with the level model. the experimental findings demonstrate that the platform's test results are following expectations and have the potential to significantly raise the standard and effectiveness of online video-based English instruction. the average teaching efficiency is 96.27%, and the quality of instruction is consistently greater than 95%.

Enterprise blockchain applications have been widely adopted and the data scale on blockchain increases rapidly in recent years. In practical application, participants prefer to store most of the business data in local database systems and only provide when queried by others due to privacy concerns, high storage cost, or constraints of on-chain space. However, this makes that the integrity of query results cannot be guaranteed and participants cannot fully trust others, and data owner has the opportunity to provide falsified records. In this paper, we present ChainDB, a relational database that can ensure integrity of querying off-chain data on blockchain. the key insight behind is using Merkle B+ tree as index structure, thus has being able to provide Merkle proof and keep all the records in order. Since the index structure is extended on B+ tree, ChainDB is compatible with common SQL operations and it is easy for enterprises to migrate from classic database systems to ChainDB. the experimental results show that ChainDB not only provides the ability to ensure integrity of querying off-chain data on blockchain, but also performs better than existing solutions.

A web-based tool for creating web sites is presented where clients and designers work together toward their goal. It is similar to *** with respect to being fully online and capable of sharing half-cooked web pages among the clients and designers. the present tool is different from mockingbird with respect to the way the clients interact with the designers. We allow for dynamic components built on the web pages so that the clients can check how they dynamically look to the users. Feedback from the clients can be placed as comments on the pages so that the clients operation may not destroy the pages. this tool is written in JavaScript and HTML5.

Recent technological advances have fostered the development of complex industrial cyber-physical systems with communication delay requirements. the consequences of delay requirement violation in such systems may become increasingly severe. In this paper, we propose a contract-based fault-resilient methodology which aims at managing the communication delays of network flows in industries. With this objective, we present a lightweight mechanism to estimate end-to-end communication delays in the network where the clocks of the switches are not synchronized. the mechanism aims at providing high level of accuracy with little communication overhead. We then propose a contract-based framework using software-defined networking (SDN) where the components are associated with delay contracts and a resilience manager. the proposed resilience management framework contains: (1) contracts which state requirements about components' behaviors, (2) observers which are responsible to detect contract failure (fault), (3) monitors to detect events such as run-time changes in the delay requirements and link failure, (4) control logic to take suitable decisions based on the type of the fault, (5) resilience manager to decide response strategies containing the best course of action as per the control logic decision. Finally, we present a delay-aware path finding algorithm which is used to route/reroute the network flows to provide resilience in the case of faults and, to adapt to the changes in the network state. Performance of the proposed framework is evaluated with the Ryu SDN controller and Mininet network emulator.

Microblog, such as Weibo and Twitter, has become an important platform where people share their opinions. Much research has been done to detect topics and events in microblogs. Due to the dynamic nature of events, it is more crucial to monitor the evolution and trace the development of the events. People pay more attention to the whole evolution chain of the events rather than a single event. In this paper, we propose a method to automatically discover event evolution chain in microblogs based on multiple similarity measures including contents, locations and participants. We build a 5-tuple event description model specifically for events detected from microblogs and analyze their relationships. Inverted index and locality-sensitive hashing are used to improve the efficiency of the algorithm. Experiment shows that our method gain a 143.33% speed up against method without locality-sensitive hashing. In comparison with the ground truth and a baseline method, the result illustrates that it effectively covers ground truth and outperforms the baseline method especially in dealing with the long-term spanning events.

AdaptiveSGA is a method for achieving Adaptive Game Artificial Intelligence-Based Dynamic Difficulty Balancing through the Symbiotic Game Agent Model. Previous work has shown that AdaptiveSGA can achieve Dynamic Difficulty Balancing in simulated soccer by effectively changing a team's strategy based on the opponent's performance. AdaptiveSGA pre-existing strategies and switches between them during runtime to increase the game's replayability by adapting the challenge it poses to the human player. Although this method works, its limitation is that if the human player surpasses the most intelligent strategy of the computer opponent, there is no way for the model to generate a new strategy during runtime that can potentially overcome the human player. AdaptiveSGA can only maintain engagement with the human player if the human player has not overcome the best strategy for the pool of pre-existing strategies. Current work addresses this limitation by introducing an Evolution Symbiont Agent whose purpose is to generate new strategies in real-time (during gameplay) through evolutionary mechanisms using Gene Expression Programming. Experimental results show that the presence of the evolution symbiont agent can use Gene Expression Programming to generate strategies capable of outperforming an opposing strategy.

In this work, deformation and focal length of a circular shape micro deformable mirror under different applying voltage is analyzed. this mirror has round shape. And it is circular clamped. In this work, the mirror is designed as MEMS (Micro-electro-mechanical systems) device. therefore, it is considered to be fabricated by silicon-based micromachining. Such that, the material used as structure layer is silicon. And the metal layer is aluminum. For detail analysis of mirror shape deformed by electrostatic force, numerical simulation by finite element methods is used to analyze the deformation of mirror. Commercial software ANSYS is used as analyzing tool. For the symmetric shape of circular mirror, a 2D model is used as numerical mode. And theory of plates and shells is used to obtain theoretical solution. It is found that the numerical results agree with analytical results. Under the analysis, it is found the profile of mirror under applying voltage is parabolic. therefore, it has good performance for focusing light. And from analysis, deformation of mirror is nonlinearly increases when the applying voltage being also increasing. therefore, the focal length changes quickly under different applying voltage. From the results, it is found applying voltages are determined by the gap sizes between mirrors and lower electrodes. Pull-in voltage is also discussed. It is found the gap size has the most significant effect. However, the thicknesses of structure layer and metal layer have also important influence. From the results, the deformation and focal length of mirror under different applying voltage are determined by material properties and device sizes. And from theoretical solution of this work, relationships between applying voltage, material properties, and device sizes are obtained.
