the fireproof sensor network plays a more and more important role on monitoring and detecting forest fire. Different from previous researches which focus mostly on plane or single slope, this work deals with the scenarios of unsmooth moutainous land, which are the majority of application situations in forest fire prevention. the layout of wireless sensor nodes in the complex forest slope is a typical NP-complete problem. Another difficulty is that varied terrain factors bring huge obstacles for calculating the fitness value of optimization algorithm. To overcome these difficulties, firstly, this paper provides a computing method of fitness value, based on fire-response time on the simulated forest land. Secondly, we analyze the defects on parameter adjustment of original NMCSA (Novel Modified Cuckoo Search Algorithm), and improve it in two aspects: (1) cutting down the step-size factor errors by using mean operator and (2) redefining the updating method of discarding probability. the simulated experiments indicate that the improved NMCSA outperforms the previous algorithms in convergence speed and accuracy. What's more, the averaged response time of the generated layout by the new method is shorter. © 2019 IEEE.

this paper proposes a Modified Chip-By-Chip (M-CBC) algorithm for iterative multi-user detector in Scrambled Coded Multiple Access (SCMA) systems. In the traditional SCMA system receiver, the number of iterative times is fixed and the best performance can only achieve by setting a larger iterative time, which results the system in poor flexibility. the M-CBC algorithm can adapt the number of iterations according to the convergence threshold calculated by the soft information of decoder. It solves the problem of how to set the iterative times and the simulation results show that the algorithm in this paper reduces the complexity of the receiver without losing system performance.

Aiming at the poor effect of traditional entity linking method combining context co-occurrence and objective knowledge, this paper proposes a collective entity linking framework based on graph embedding algorithm Node2vec. the framework first uses BiLSTM and CRF to do named entity recognition over a text, aiming to obtain entities related to mention in the text. then, the Node2vec is used on the sub-graph of the knowledge graph for all entities corresponding to the candidate entity sets and the recognized entities to obtain the vector representation between different entities. the similarity between each entity and the text within a certain range is calculated, and the degree between each pair of entity elements is obtained. the most similar pair is selected as the target entity of the link. Experimental verification shows that F1 in this framework reaches 85.96% on NLPCC2014 data set, and the improved Node2vec algorithm performs better than some other graph embedding algorithms in this framework.

AVS2 is a kind of video coding standard independently developed by China. AVS2 achieves the same level of compression efficiency with the most popular international standard HEVC/H.265. However, the increased compression efficiency brings a significant increase in coding complexity. In order to reduce the coding complexity of intra coding, a number of fast mode decision algorithms have been studied. However, traditional algorithms mainly focus on maintaining the objective quality of the video without perceptual consideration. therefore, a perceptual fast intra mode decision algorithm is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the Sobel operator is used to obtain the perceptual texture information of the current PU (Prediction Unit) with JND (Just noticeable distortion) model to determine the available candidate intra predicted modes. Furthermore, the predicted candidate modes are updated by spatial-temporal neighboring information and the main perceived texture direction. the experimental results show that the proposed algorithm reduce encoding time by 16.93% under all intra testing configuration on RD17.0, while the BD-Rate loss is 1.07% with SSIM metric.

Human-Object Interaction (HOI) detection is a computer vision task that can help computers understand the scene of still images. While too many human-object pairs usually appear in images, which results in the complexity of the HOI detection network. In this paper, we used the two-stage framework in the HOI detection method to reduce complexity. Besides, based on the idea that the features of each body part have different degrees of importance for human-object interaction detection. We combined the body-part attention mechanism with the two-stage network to use relative information of human parts and object. In the test, we provided extensive experiments to compare the proposed network with the existing human-object interaction detection networks. the experiment on the V-COCO dataset shows that our approach compares favorably with the existing HOI detection methods.

the goal of an objective quality assessment metric is to use a computational model to measure the image visual quality, which consistent with the subjective judgment of the human being. Accurately evaluating the visual quality of the image is an important task under many application scenarios, such as image compression, image reconstruction, and image enhancement. In this paper, we present an accurate full-reference image quality assessment (IQA) metric for screen content (SC) images. Compared to the other classical algorithms, the proposed method is based on convolution operations, which extremely reduced computational complexity. First, the Gabor filter is used to capture the image structure information, usually composed of edges and contours, which is used to understand the image. And then we detect the visual sensitive areas that can attract more attention from the human visual system (HVS). Finally, the map of visual sensitive areas is used for the weighting strategy. Extended experiments on the SIQAD database validate the superiority of the proposed method. Specifically, it is more consistent with subjective evaluation results than the most popular and state-of-the-art IQA metrics and requires lower computational complexity 1 .

the aerial image mosaic algorithm needs to ensure the real-time performance of the algorithm and the natural transition of image fusion. In order to improve the matching performance of the algorithm, an improved UAV aerial image registration algorithm based on GMS-RANSAC is proposed. the improved algorithm introduces the idea of partitioning, divides the image into meshes and then performs feature extraction on each mesh, uses the bidirectional BF algorithm and the GMS algorithm to perform accurate feature value matching, and finally uses the improved RANSAC algorithm for further feature purification to obtain a high-quality correct interior point set. this paper combines the characteristics of GMS algorithm to improve the RANSAC algorithm, reduce the number of iterations of the algorithm, and reduce the time complexity of the algorithm. the improved image registration algorithm has higher accuracy and shorter running time. After the registration is completed, the image is merged to obtain a mosaic image.

Providing high security to data exchange is one of the most primary concerns with fast evolution in communication technology. So, a Hybrid cryptographic algorithm is proposed where, Rivest Cipher 5 (RC5) is used for encryption and decryption of data and Honey Encryption (HE) is used for secret key exchange, which is a major challenge of symmetric cryptography. In this paper, number of rounds of RC5 is varied and its strength is studied based on randomness, considering avalanche effect. Time complexity of RC5 is also analyzed and increasing strength is chosen over time complexity as RC5 shows very slight increase in time when number of rounds is increased. Additionally, HE involves Distribution Transforming Encoder (DTE) and generation of honey-words. HE acts an additional layer of protection for RC5 cryptographic algorithm. HE is password based and it gives fake messages if any intrusion is detected and have utilized this concept to protect sharing of secret key. Both algorithms are efficiently integrated; obtained results clearly justify that greater number of rounds provide more randomness and hence better security and key exchange is done securely. thus, proposed Hybrid cryptographic algorithm efficiently provides enhanced security as it involves double encryption.

Abundant information can be mined from AETA geo-acoustic data. In this paper, a fast SNR-based vibration events detection algorithm is proposed by improving traditional STA/LTA algorithm for these data. Background noise sampling and different update strategies during different states are applied to improve detection performance. Furthermore, we studied relative method to update the eigenvalues in O(1) time when an element in the sliding window is operated so data stream can be detected in O(N) time. Finally, in the experience part, white Gaussian noise with SNR range from 3 to 10dB is added to the geo-acoustic data of 72 AETA stations around the Longmenshan fault zone from October to November 2019 and result is measured by start point relative error, end point relative error and detected energy ratio. Result shows that the proposed method achieves considerable detection effect for vibration events in AETA geo-acoustic data with low computation complexity.

Fog computing, which works complementary to cloud computing, is being developed to overcome the issue of cloud computing such as latency in the cases where the data is to be retrieved immediately. But, along with solving the problem of latency, fog computing brings along with it different set of security issues than cloud computing. the storage and processing capabilities of fog computing is limited and hence, the security issues must be solved with these constrained resources. One of the problems faced when the data is stored outside the internal network is loss of confidentiality. For this, the data must be encrypted. But, whenever document needs to be searched, all the related documents must be decrypted first and later the required document is to be fetched. Within this time frame, the document data can be accessed by an unauthorized person. So, in this paper, a searchable symmetric encryption scheme is proposed wherein the authorized members of an organization can search over the encrypted data and retrieve the required document in order to preserve the security and privacy of the data. Also, the searching complexity of the algorithm is much less so that it suitable to fog computing environment.
