In response to the validation needs of the directional gamma measurement system, which require going underground or using equipment containing radiation sources, and the difficulty of conducting quantitative and qualitative debugging and verification under laboratory conditions, a virtual sensor designed for the directional gamma measurement system is proposed based on real sensor selection and attitude inversion algorithms. A testing group is also designed to verify whether the output of the virtual sensor meets the requirements. Test results indicate that the virtual sensor exhibits output characteristics consistent with those of the real sensor, enabling quantitative and qualitative validation of the directional gamma measurement system. It can replace the real sensor to assist in system development under laboratory conditions, helping to shorten the R&D cycle and reduce costs. © 2024 ieee.

Tower solar thermal power generation is a new type of low-carbon and environmentally friendly clean energy technology. In this paper, a single-objective optimization model is established with the maximum annual average thermal output per unit mirror area of the heliostat field as the objective function. By optimizing the heliostat width, heliostat height and heliostat coordinate, the annual average output thermal power can be maximized while meeting the rated power. the heliostat field is distributed in a circular shape. As the seasons change, the light intensity received by the heliostat field is uneven, so the optical efficiency of the heliostats is also different. We simplify the heliostat field into S area (area with higher optical efficiency) and W area (area with lower optical efficiency) based on the optical efficiency distribution of heliostats. At different locations, According to the heliostat width, heliostat height and heliostat coordinate generated by random functions, substituting these parameters into the efficiency model in this paper, and the random search algorithm is used to traverse the maximum annual output thermal power and the corresponding heliostat parameters. In the shadow occlusion loss model, we have grid to set up the heliostat and use the coordinate conversion to solve the shadow occlusion loss efficiency. © 2024 ieee.

distributed Effect Evaluation Algorithm of the computer English online platform based on Hibernate Task-based Data Architecture is studied in this paper. the image file generated by the CIAB method does not store the state of the system before shutdown. Using this image file to restore, the system will cause inconsistencies between the fast startup and the normal startup system. Hence, to deal with this challenge, the Hibernate framework is combined. Using a specific pattern in a specific application, scenario can obtain a code structure with a clear structure, easy to extend and understand, and is applied to the effect evaluation algorithm into the platform construction. through the testing under different scenarios, the performance is validated. © 2022 ieee.

the advent of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) is bringing forth a revolutionary new era of technology transforming transportation. For traffic to be optimized and safe, efficient vehicle-to-everything collaboration and improved autonomous vehicles (AV) decision-making are crucial. It becomes essential to make decisions in real time using information from vehicle sensors, software, and traffic data. As a part of such an In-Vehicle Network (IVN), over-the-air (OTA) software update service in CAVs needs to be facilitated rapidly, reliably, and securely. However, by taking advantage of vulnerabilities, attackers may quickly target the OTA software update as part of botnets to execute distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. the enormous volume and widespread nature of these DDoS cyber-attacks make it vital for the CAV industry to work quickly on identifying and preventing these threats. this paper proposes proof-of-concept experiments with the Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) Blockchain model to detect and prevent DDoS attacks in CAVs' OTA update systems. the proposed method implements Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) as the consensus mechanism and a distributed firewall to ensure the ledger is secure and tamper-proof. the system is tested on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Blockchain (BC) platform. the results show that the proposed approach effectively prevents DDoS attacks while ensuring fast transaction execution time.

Leading autonomous vehicle (AV) platforms and testing infrastructures are, unfortunately, proprietary and closed-source. thus, it is difficult to evaluate how well safety-critical AVs perform and how safe they truly are. Similarly, few platforms exist for much-needed multi-agent analysis. To provide a starting point for analysis of sensor fusion and collaborative & distributed sensing, we design an accessible, modular sensing platform with AVstack [9]. We build collaborative and distributed camera-radar fusion algorithms and demonstrate an evaluation ecosystem of AV datasets, physics-based simulators, and hardware in the physical world. this three-part ecosystem enables testing next-generation configurations that are prohibitively challenging in existing development platforms.

this research introduces the design and implementation of an advanced IoT-based home security system aimed at improving both convenience and safety for homeowners. the system integrates a smart doorbell with a mobile application, enabling real-time alerts for guest arrivals. Key features include facial recognition for automated door unlocking and notification of unrecognized visitors. When an unknown face is detected, the system sends an image along with a notification to the homeowner via a Telegram bot. the architecture incorporates the ESP32-CAM microcontroller for face detection, a solenoid lock for automatic door access, and an ultrasonic sensor to detect visitor presence. Extensive testing under various environmental conditions was conducted to assess the system's performance, particularly in terms of face recognition accuracy and notification delivery. the results indicate that the system significantly enhances home security by ensuring timely notifications and automating door access for verified individuals. While the system performs reliably in well-lit environments, challenges remain in low-light conditions. Software testing confirmed the robustness of the underlying logic. this innovative IoT solution overcomes the limitations of traditional security systems, offering a more secure, user-friendly, and efficient alternative for modern home security. © 2025 ieee.

Microseismic detection events are critical in monitoring subsurface activities, including hydraulic fracturing, enhanced oil recovery, carbon dioxide, or natural gas geological storage and reservoir characterization, to guarantee safe and efficient energy extraction. this presents significant challenges as it generates large amounts of data. Despite the recent machine learning techniques being increasingly integrated into fiber-optic distributed acoustic sensor (DAS) systems to enhance their intelligent recognition capabilities, there is still a need to solve this. In some research, it has been observed that computational speed is time-consuming and overfitting, thus necessitating a more extensive investigation of this analysis. this study proposes a novel approach using DAS data to enhance microseismic event detection's precision, overfitting issue, and interpretability. this approach utilizes a specifically designed neural network architecture. the deep learning approach is highly effective for the real-time management of the substantial amounts of data recorded by DAS equipment. three phases of research methodology are proposed. the contribution of this research is that spiking neural network architecture for microseismic detection will bring advancements in microseismic monitoring.
