Globally it is found that many vehicles do not have built-in intelligent monitoring systems which is very much dangerous especially when the temperature of the indoor environment is rising. this research fulfills the need by designing a thermal indoor environment monitoring device that increases the safety and intelligence of vehicles. the device collects and records a number of environmentally significant parameters like temperature, pressure, both indoor and outdoor humidity, light intensity, TVOC, CO2 levels, and GPS position. Large amounts of data were collected from different cars, buses and trains for both local city and inter-city environments. these datasets helped in the deployment of intelligent monitoring and management techniques which helped with the intervention. the outcomes of our experiments show that it is possible to enhance the safety and comfort of car passengers with the help of innovative solutions, for instance, pre-staging air conditioning when the temperature starts to rise. this research benefits the smart vehicle development field and provides a strong solution to Pakistan's environmental monitoring issues in the transportation industry. © 2024 ieee.

the resource-constrained task scheduling problem has been one of the popular research topics in cloud computing systems. By employing the dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) techniques, the task scheduling can be further constrained by energy consumption. the paper investigates the DAG task scheduling considering both the resource and energy constraints in heterogeneous distributed systems. the objective is to minimize the scheduling length. An energy-constrained task scheduling framework is employed, where tasks are initially scheduled according to their upward rank values. then two heuristics are proposed to improve the initial solution, namely, the simulated annealing local search method and the frequency adjustment method. Experiments are conducted by testing a large number of instances with multiple parameter settings, and the results show that the proposed algorithms are effective and efficient. © 2023 ieee.

Vital Health monitoring of aged people without help of technologies is quite a difficult task. Because when the measures are done manually, there is all-time need of caretaker with the elderly people. this can be overcome with the help of health and activity monitoring system with many new technologies. Wireless infrastructure can support current and emerging technologies. Despite of executing the activity by such a centralized server, the device comprises a disseminating centralised system. the proposed health and activity monitoring system consists of a wearable sensor node and deployed sensor node, which is interfaced with the IOT architecture. An analysis is carried out using BPAD (Body Parameter Abnormality Detection) algorithm to detect any deviation in the health condition of the person. the smart phone API (API refers as application processing interaction) accesses the database of centralized server. © 2022 ieee.

the passive location methods for underwater target is particularly critical to both military and civilian domains, with Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) gaining widespread utilization across diverse applications. In this paper, the underwater target location method based on the TDOA with distributed multi-agent systems (UTL-DMS) is proposed to apply in the shallow water environment. the location of target is solved by constructing a set of pseudo-linear equations, requiring three observers of the distributed multi-agent system. the simulation results show that average location error is 1.48 m. the distributed multi-agent systems are constructed. the experiment is held to verify the method in the Qian Dao Lake in Hangzhou. All location errors are less than 20 m, which demonstrate the performance of the method by the experiment verification on a lake. © 2023 ieee.

Crowd sensing is a way to obtain multiple sensing data onto users or mobile devices and is widely used in industrial Internet, smart city, smart medical, etc. However, when users upload sensing data involving sensitive information such as a user identity and location, there will be risks of data privacy leakage and user tracking. For the problem of this scenario, we propose a blockchain-based pseudonym generation mechanism, which uses pseudonyms to realize user anonymity and user identity authentication. the average speed of pseudonym generation and authentication in the simulation experiment is about 0.1s, the experimental results verify the availability and effectiveness of the distributed pseudonym mechanism. © 2021 ieee.

the measured voiceprint signals of 750kV reactors contain interference noises of different frequency bands, which seriously affects the accuracy of reactor voiceprint recognition. therefore, it is necessary to separate the voiceprint signals of the reactor body. Firstly, a sound pressure sensor array is used to collect the voiceprint signal of the reactor, and the data consistency testing algorithm is used to identify each sensor array element, eliminate failed array elements, and retain effective array metadata to construct a multidimensional observation signal matrix;then, the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA) is used to optimize the decomposition level K and the penalty factor a of the Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) algorithm. Based on the optimal parameter combination, multi-scale decomposition of each effective array element signal is performed, and modal components within 1kHz are selected to reconstruct the observation signal, achieving the filtering of high-frequency interference noise;Finally, Fast Independent Component Analysis (FastICA) was used to separate the voiceprint signal of the 750kV reactor body from the multidimensional noise reduction observation signals. the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of the 750kV reactor body voiceprint signal separated from the measured signals using the WOA-VMD-FastICA method proposed in this study is 11.6582dB, and the similarity coefficient with the source signal is 0.9916. Compared with the Expectation Maximization (EM) blind source separation algorithm, it has improved by 3.3927dB and 10.83%, respectively. the separation results show that the method proposed in this study can effectively separate the voiceprints of the 750kV reactor body from the measured noise signals in the substation, and has higher applicability and accuracy compared to traditional denoising algorithms. © 2024 ieee.

With the advancement of modern robotics, autonomous agents are now capable of hosting sophisticated algorithms, which enables them to make intelligent decisions. But developing and testing such algorithms directly in real -world systems is tedious and may result in the wastage of valuable resources. Especially for heterogeneous multi -agent systems in battlefield environments where communication is critical in determining the system's behavior and usability. Due to the necessity of simulators of separate paradigms (co -simulation) to simulate such scenarios before deploying, synchronization between those simulators is vital. Existing works aimed at resolving this issue fall short of addressing diversity among deployed agents. In this work, we propose SynchroSim, an integrated co -simulation middleware to simulate a heterogeneous multi-robot system. Here we propose a velocity difference-driven adjustable window size approach with a view to reducing packet loss probability. It takes into account the respective velocities of deployed agents to calculate a suitable window size before transmitting data between them. We consider our algorithm specific simulator agnostic but for the sake of implementation results, we have used Gazebo as a Physics simulator and NS -3 as a network simulator. Also, we design our algorithm considering the Perception -Action loop inside a closed communication channel, which is one of the essential factors in a contested scenario with the requirement of high fidelity in terms of data transmission. We validate our approach empirically at both the simulation and system level for both line -of-sight (LOS) and non -line-of-sight (NLOS) scenarios. Our approach achieves a noticeable improvement in terms of reducing packet loss probability (approximate to 11%), and average packet delay (approximate to 10%) compared to the fixed window size-based synchronization approach.

the 5G information age requires a large number of marginal nodes distributed around users to provide digital services. By caching and processing data at edge nodes close to users, edge caching technology can effectively collaborate with cloud computing and edge computing to improve the transmission efficiency as well as network response time. Meanwhile, intelligent reflective surface (IRS) is a promising technology for achieving high reductions in hardware cost and power consumption as compared to traditional relaying systems. It provides reliable and scalable backhaul transmission for base stations and access points in ultra-dense networks, which is in line with the requirements of 5G green technology. therefore, in this paper, we propose a collaborative edge caching method that effectively combines IRS-aided wireless communication and channel power-delay-profile to design joint caching decisions in a centralized manner through limited cache capacity, improving the quality of content delivery in information transmission. then we proposed a deep deterministic policy gradient learning method based on the framework of deep reinforcement learning along with self-supervision learning to predict IRS phases and collaborative caching strategies. the numerical simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has better convergence speed and learning accuracy than that of the existing algorithms, and is expected to be applied for future massive and dynamical content delivery applications.
