With the increasing demands of data computation and storage for cloud-based services, the energy demand of data centers (DCs) is rising rapidly and becoming a noticeable challenge for current power networks. the smart grid (SG) is deemed as the future power system paradigm enabling more affordable and sustainable energy supply, which can effectively relieve the power load pressure of DCs. Moreover, with growing concerns regarding harmful emissions due to combustion of fossil fuels, the exploitation of renewable energy sources (RES) has attracted extensive attention, benefiting both SGs and DCs at large. However, the geo-distributed property of DCs and SGs, as well as the uncertain nature of RES production pose severe challenges to the optimal management of computation and energy resources in such coupling system. Focusing on these issues, a joint energy and computation workload management framework is proposed for enabling a sustainable DC paradigm with distributed RES. Specifically, to model the interactions between data center operator (DCO) and SGs, a Stackelberg game is formulated. the SG offers the DCO an electricity selling price to maximize the benefit. the DCO allocates the computation workload to geo-distributed DCs, aiming to minimize the costs of energy consumption and carbon emissions. We obtain the equilibrium state of the game and prove its uniqueness and optimality. Simulation experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme, showing that it can achieve considerable cost savings over counterparts. the proposed approach and obtained results provide useful insights for helping the DCO developing rational management strategies. © 2021 ieee.

Use of big data, large observations and elements is a major issue in modern world, which creates difficulties in effective decision-making process. Multi-sensor data fusion technology is effective to use multi-sensors for collecting data from similar target and analyze, the collected data using various computer technology. this process in IoT (Internet of things) system can be used to form data with high accuracy and low reluctance to make effective decisions. Multi-sensor refers to a process, which combines observations from a number of different sensors for providing a robust and complete overview of the environment or any process of interest. Many nodes are included within IoT systems, which are composed with different sensor networks. In this sensor networks, many sensors works together to process different information and make effective *** research will define different use of data fusion opportunities in IoT system, in order to make effective decision in various organizations in Indian and other countries. the aim and objective of this research focusing on use of data fusion techniques, its advantages and disadvantages in IoT connected devices. As per literature findings, data fusion process for with the help of IoT sensors is effective to enhance the quality of data. Secondary thematic analysis has been considered in this study to collect data regarding data fusion with IoT sensors. As per the findings, timely data fusion is effective for organisation to enhance their decision-making process along with some effective challenges in future such as imperfect data, inconsistency, conflicting nature of data and several others. this can be mitigated through new technical intervention in organisation. © 2022 ieee.

Due to the closed-loop control strategy, current sensor faults in inverter systems are very destructive. Aiming at the fault estimation and fault tolerance of current sensors, this paper proposes a reduced-order observer-based fault estimation and fault tolerance method for grid-connected three-level neutral point clamped(NPC) inverter. Firstly, the fault model of the current sensor is established, and the augmented system for the inverte is proposed, and the augmented state vector is composed of the state vector of the original system, the fault signal of the current sensor and the disturbance signal. then, the matrix transformation is used to decouple the disturbance sensor fault from the system state. then, a reduced-order observer is designed for the decoupled system to achieve accurate estimation of the phase current and the current sensor fault. Finally, the fault-Tolerant strategy is designed through sensor fault compensation, so that the inverter can continue to work normally when the current sensor fails. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. © 2023 ieee.

these underwater Acoustic sensor Networks (UWSNs) present unique challenges due to the harsh and dynamic underwater environment, making efficient communication protocols essential for their operation. this paper introduces an innovative Energy Efficient Clustering Routing Protocol (EECRP) specifically designed for UWSNs, leveraging the advancements of 6G technology. EECRP employs a distributed clustering mechanism and energy-efficient routing strategy to optimize energy consumption, prolong network lifetime, and enhance communication reliability. the protocol integrates with 6G technologies, such as terahertz communication and quantum communication security, to further enhance performance and security in UWSNs. through simulation and comparative analysis, EECRP demonstrates superior performance compared to existing routing protocols in terms of energy efficiency, throughput, and scalability. EECRP's contributions lie in its novel approach to routing in UWSNs, emphasizing energy efficiency, sustainability, and integration with advanced technologies. this research paves the way for the adoption and deployment of EECRP in various underwater applications, facilitating scientific research, environmental monitoring, and technological innovation in underwater communication systems. © 2024 ieee.

this paper presents a comprehensive review of emerging technologies in V2X communication and Vehicular Edge computing (VEC) for sustainable Internet of Vehicles (IoV) in the 6G era. the paper employs the PRISMA method to systematically identify, screen, select, synthesize, and report relevant literature. the objective is to identify and discuss key technologies, assess challenges and opportunities, analyze potential impacts on energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, and provide recommendations for future research directions. Challenges analysed include both technical and non-technical challenges and oppportunities include both societal benefits as well as industry opportunities. Finally and based on these findings, future research directions are proposed for striving towards sustainable IoV. © 2023 ieee.

Network function virtualization is the key to developing elastically scalable and fault-tolerant network functions (e.g. load balancer, firewall etc.). By integrating NFV and SDN technologies, it is feasible to dynamically reroute traffic to new network function (NF) instances in the event of an NF failure or overload scenario. the fact that the majority of network functions are stateful makes the task more challenging. State migration and state replication are common approaches in achieving elasticity and fault tolerance. the majority of the studies in the literature either emphasize fault tolerance or elastic scalability while designing a state management system for network functions. In this paper, we have designed a complete state management system, called DEFT, that meets both elasticity and fault-tolerance goals. Our system also supports strong consistency on global state updates. While existing designs rely on a central controller or remote central storage to achieve strong consistency on state updates, DEFT utilizes distributed consensus mechanism to achieve the same. We have done a proof of concept implementation of DEFT and extensively tested DEFT under several model conditions to evaluate its scalability and performance. Our experimental results show that DEFT is scalable and maintains a considerably high throughput throughout. It incurs minimal performance overhead while achieving strong consistency on state updates.

An analysis of drone detection methods was carried out in this paper. there is a reasoned choice of the optimal method for implementation based on the analysis of acoustic signals generated by drones. the set of methods of acoustic signal analysis is presented. these methods provide the measurement of drone coordinates and complement each other depending on the flight conditions. the structure of a distributed sensor network oriented on the online detection of drones and their tracking has been synthesized. the developed system provides the appropriate complexity as well as large flexibility and scalability. © 2023 ieee.

An event-triggered (ET) recursive distributed filtering approach is designed for a class of stochastic systems with correlated noises. the correlated noises are represented by known matrices and the Kronecker δ function. the ET mechanism that can regulate the sensor information is employed. In addition, the perturbation of the filter gain is considered to suppress the effects of the gain variation on filtering accuracies. An upper bound with respect to the filtering error covariance that can be minimized is obtained by properly choosing the filter gain. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the usefulness of the proposed filtering approach. © 2022 ieee.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are extensively deployed to gather and process data from monitoring environments. Due to their deployment in harsh and unattended conditions, sensor nodes are highly susceptible to faults, which can have severe consequences on safety, economy, and system reliability. To tackle this challenge, machine learning algorithms have emerged as a promising solution. In this study, we propose a fault detection algorithm based on an autoencoder-based classification model. Unlike traditional neural networks, autoencoders have equal numbers of neurons in the input and output layers, facilitating fault detection by comparing input and output values. We evaluate the proposed algorithm against existing approaches using three key parameters: fault detection accuracy, false alarm rate, and false positive rate. Our simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed algorithm in detecting faults such as spike, fixed bias, gain, and out-of-bounds faults within the network. © 2023 ieee.

this paper employs a novel optimization approach for addressing the problem of optimal allocation of distributed Generators (DGs) with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCSs) on Radial Power Distribution Networks (RPDNs). In this paper, the goal of integrating distributed Generation (DG) is to mitigate the negative impacts of EVCS load on the RPDN. In this study, a nature-inspired Gorilla Troops Optimization Algorithm (GTOA) is utilized to determine the optimal placement, sizing, and power factor of distributed Generation (DG) units in conjunction with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS) installation on the RPDN. the primary optimization objectives of this coordination approach are the minimization of power loss, reduction of voltage deviation, and enhancement of the voltage stability of the system. the effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated by considering various cases of DG placement with EVCSs on the RPDNs. Also, a comparative analysis is conducted to assess the effectiveness of the proposed method in comparison with Moth-flame optimization and ant lion optimizer algorithms. the results demonstrate that the GTOA provides superior solution quality compared to competing algorithms. © 2023 ieee.
