Nowadays, due to the mishandling of the current parking system, even a basic action like parking now appears to be a time-consuming and laborious operation. Existing parking systems need a large amount of staff to manage and force customers to look for a parking place floor by floor. this paper proposes a smart parking energy management system for a structured environment such as a multi-story corporate parking space. the system proposes the use of Internet of things (IoT) technology in conjunction with modern sensors and controllers to establish a systematic parking system for users. Unoccupied parking spaces are highlighted by lights, and users are steered to them to avoid the need to look for an empty parking place. A central system that accesses occupied parking spots in the cloud directs an approaching automobile to an empty parking place. the entire system is fully automatic, which leads to a reduction in the required manpower and improves the aesthetics of parking lot lighting. the proposed model makes the parking system more time-efficient and provides user comfort. It is accomplished by increasing the mean accuracy of car allotment and providing reduction in average time for the user. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Cyber resilience has become a strategic point of information security in recent years. In the face of complex attack means and severe internal and external threats, it is difficult to achieve 100% protection against information systems. It is necessary to enhance the continuous service of information systems based on network resiliency and take appropriate compensation measures in case of protection failure, to ensure that the mission can still be achieved under attack. this paper combs the definition, cycle, and state of cyber resilience, and interprets the cyber resiliency engineering framework, to better understand cyber resilience. In addition, we also discuss the evolution of security architecture and analyze the impact of cyber resiliency on security architecture. Finally, the strategies and schemes of enhancing cyber resilience represented by zero trust and endogenous security are discussed. © 2021 ieee.

Smart Contracts based cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum are becoming increasingly popular in various domains: but with this increase in popularity comes a significant decrease in throughput and efficiency. Smart Contracts are executed by every miner in the system serially without any parallelism, both inter and intra-Smart Contracts. Such a serial execution inhibits the scalability required to obtain extremely high throughput pertaining to computationally intensive tasks deployed with such Smart Contracts. While significant advancements have been made in the field of concurrency, from GPU architectures that enable massively parallel computation to tools such as MapReduce that distributed computing to several nodes connected in the system to achieve higher performance in distributed systems, none are incorporated in blockchain-based distributed computing. the team proposes a novel blockchain that allows public nodes in a permission-independent blockchain to deploy and run Smart Contracts that provide concurrency-related functionalities within the Smart Contract framework. In this paper, the researchers present "ConCurrency," a blockchain network capable of handling big data-based computations. the technique is based on currently used distributed system paradigms, such as MapReduce, while also allowing for fundamental parallelly computable problems. Concurrency is achieved using a sharding protocol incorporated with consensus mechanisms to ensure high scalability, high reliability, and better efficiency. A detailed methodology and a comprehensive analysis of the proposed blockchain further indicate a significant increase in throughput for parallelly computable tasks, as detailed in this paper.

this paper devises a novel aircraft test flight assistance system by monitoring the sensor networks. In the flight test, the measuring rake uses a pitot tube to measure the total and static pressures. the total and static pressure sensors measure absolute pressures. When the internal flow rate of the inlet is small, the difference between the total and static pressures is very small, which will lead to some large flow measurement error. To overcome this challenge, this research work has designed a novel sensor network monitoring network system to perform the data collection work. the intelligent assessment model is then combined for performing further processing of features. Also, the proposed system is applied in the real-time applications. © 2021 ieee.

As the proportion of photovoltaic grid-connected systems increases year by year, the uncertainty of photovoltaic output and load has an increasingly significant impact on the stable operation of the distribution network. In this paper, a photovoltaic access location-capacity optimization method in distribution lines based on the quantification of photovoltaic-load uncertainty is proposed, and the uncertainty propagation of the PV load model parameters in the distribution network power flow calculation node voltage output model is analyzed. this paper proposed an improved Sobol's method based on polynomial development to quantitatively evaluate the uncertain impact of photovoltaic load parameters, constructed a photovoltaic access location-capacity evaluation model for distribution lines based on uncertainty quantitative assessment, optimized the access capacity of nodes by using the goal function of line loss minimization, and finally verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method by improving the ieee33 node. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

this paper proposes CSS, a built-in channel state scrambling scheme to provide always-on protection for channel state information. CSS uses randomly generated scrambling vectors to emulate human activities, preventing eavesdroppers from recovering human physical activity from the channel state. By carefully designing the scrambling scheme based on physical channel models, we ensure that legacy receivers can successfully decode the frames and all frames transmitted over the air are scrambled. Furthermore, legitimate Wi-Fi sensors can still recover the true activity with a pre-shared secret key. Implementation on a real communication system shows that CSS can retain the same frame-error rate for commercial wireless receivers while misleading eavesdroppers with a success rate of over 95%.

the paper proposes approach to use new tools for malware detection in corporate networks, which are distributed systems with partial centralization. To make decision about malware presence, the components which includes specified decision-making for the system's center are defined as a decentralized subsystem. To determine the states of the system components, characteristic indicators are proposed, and generalized analytical expressions for their calculation are developed. Such calculations make it possible to assess the state of the components in the system in order to determine its further steps. As a result, the system is the basis for usage of different malware detection methods in combination with the system components as an integral sensor. To test the system, a worm-virus detection method was implemented and experiments were conducted. the results of experimental studies approved the efficiency of the proposed solution.

Recently, digital twins have been paid much attention as a major application towards Beyond 5G/6G network, and real-time object recognition methods are key technology to digitize the real world as a digital twin. However, it is challenging to make a fast and accurate decision on what the object is from real-time streaming information such as video because accurate object recognition algorithms require a huge computation. To satisfy delay requirement of digital twin applications, such computations have to be moved from cloud to edges or even small terminal devices, where computing capacity is very limited. thus, recognition mechanisms have to be simplified for small devices but they would result in degraded accuracy. In this paper, we focus on the multimodal information processing mechanism of the brain, which makes decisions based on multiple types of uncertain observed information, to improve accuracy of simplified recognition mechanisms. We first propose a unimodal object recognition mechanism based on the Bayesian attractor model, which continuously recognizes objects from noisy streaming media data. then, we extend the mechanism with Bayesian causal inference to fuse the results of unimodal media recognition. through computer simulations, we show that our proposed method identifies an object accurately and quickly from uncertain observed information.

Security is the main concern for wireless sensor nodes and exposed against malicious attacks. To secure the communication between sensor nodes several key managing arrangements are already implemented. the key managing method for any protected application must minimally deliver safety facilities such as truthfulness. Diffie-Hellman key exchange in the absence of authentication is exposed to MITM (man-in-the-middle) attacks due to which the attacker node can easily interrupt the communication, by appearing as a valid node in the network. In wireless sensor networks, single path routing is very common but it suffers with the two problems i:e link failure which results in data loss and if any node in single path is compromised, there is no alternative to send the data to the destination securely. To overcome this problem, multipath routing protocol is used which provides both availability and consistency of data. AOMDV (Ad-hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector Routing Protocol) is used in a proposed algorithm which provides alternative paths to reach the data packets to the destination. this paper presents an algorithm DH-SAM (Diffie-Hellman- Sybil Attack Mitigation) to spot and mitigate Sybil nodes and make the network trusted with the objective of solving the issue of MITM attack in the network. After node authentication, secure keys are established between two communicating nodes for data transmission using the Diffie-Hellman algorithm. Performance evaluation of DH-SAM is done by using different metrics such as detection rate, PDR, throughput, and average end to end (AE2E) delay. © 2021 ieee.

Modeling distributed processes using state machines is gaining importance as the serverless computing becomes more widespread. One of the important issues in distributed state machine execution is to perform better caching approaches. Due to the nature of state machines, the amount of different paths that can be executed by a state machine is hmited. this property can be utilized to perform better caching by predicting which path is going to be taken. In this paper, we analyze former execution history of distributed state machines to perform better predictions. We also run experiments to find out if collaboratively using the history of the state machine instances makes any significant improvements on pre-fetching decision. Our results show that pre-fetching significantly decrease the number of cache misses while history sharing between instances provides improvements in a more limited fashion. © 2021 ieee
