this paper studies on the subsystem interference problem due to chassis strong coupling characteristics of vehicles matching mechanical elastic electric wheel (MEEW) under limited working conditions. It takes the active front steering (AFS), direct yaw moment control (DYC) as research objects. According to non-cooperative feedback Nash equilibrium game theory, a game coordination controller with variable subsystem weights is designed, and the ideal output at the Nash equilibrium point is obtained by coupling Riccati equation and its iterative transformation. the joint simulation platform of CarSim/Simulink is built to conduct the simulation test with the speed of 100km/h and the pavement attachment coefficient of 0.3 on double shift condition. the results show that the vehicle matching MEEW under control has better stability than that under single control overlay. the tracking errors of the sideslip angle and the yaw rate under game coordination control mechanism have decreased by 54% and 23% respectively compared with AFS/DYC composite control mechanism. © 2022 ieee.

In winter, China has a wide range and a long time of snow. the types of roads encountered by vehicles in a snow and ice environment are complex and changeable. At the same time, reducing the road adhesion coefficient will make it easier for the tire force to reach the saturation state, resulting in the decline of vehicle braking performance and handling performance, which poses a severe threat to driving safety. this paper establishes an integrated vehicle dynamics model with four-wheel torque as control input and yaw rate, sideslip angle, and four-wheel speed as output. Considering the yaw stability of the vehicle body and the tracking ability of the wheel slip ratio, the nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) is used to optimize the wheel torque and improve the driving stability of the vehicle under extreme conditions. Also, the wheel slip rate remains stable, establishes the torque centralized rolling optimization problem, and determines the four-wheel torque. Off-line simulation shows that the control method is auxiliary in driving low road adhesion caused by ice and snow, ensuring the vehicles' safe and stable driving and reducing the probability of traffic accidents. © 2022 ieee.

It is of great theoretical significance and application value to construct a reliable underwater sensor network (UWSN), and the networking protocol plays a key role in the data transmission of UWSN. the research of traditional underwater networking protocols mostly focuses on the process of topology discovery with low energy consumption and fast convergence without recognizing the problem of route repair in the case of node failure. Aiming at achieving low delay, low collision rate and high robustness, this paper proposes a sequential networking protocol suitable for distributed underwater acoustic sensor networks. the protocol is divided into two stages: on Stage 1, the strategy of laying and networking is adopted to shorten the networking time; on Stage 2, the importance of nodes in the network is assigned to achieve the effect of quickly selecting sub-optimal routes and reducing the delay of fault repair. Simulation results show that this protocol can effectively reduce the networking time and fault repair time in UWSN, and reduce the networking communication and repair communication times, which may well contrapuntally meet the needs of low latency, low energy consumption, high repair rate and other scenarios.

the cellular network standard is gradually stepping towards the 6th Generation (6G). In 6G, the pioneering and exclusive features, such as creating connectivity even in space and under water, are attracting Governments, organizations and researchers to spend time, money, effort extensively in this area. In the direction of intelligent network management and distributed secured systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and blockchain are going to form the backbone of 6G, respectively. However, there is a need for the study of the 6g architecture and technology, such that researchers can identify the scopes of improvement in 6G. therefore, in this survey, we discuss the primary requirements of 6G along with its overall architecture and technological aspects. We also highlight crucial challenges and future research directions in 6G networks, which can lead to the successful practical implementation of 6G, as per the objective of its introduction in next generation cellular networks. © 2021 ieee.

In many applications using wireless sensor networks, the reliability of monitored data is crucial to analyze situations and take decisions. Compressed sensing methods are effective to ensure durability of a wireless sensor network installation and to overcome communication failures by drastically lowering the amount of data to transmit. the method proposed in this paper aims to perform an abstraction of the signals sparsity model required by compressed sensing in order to use a deep learning-based approach. this method is designed to be effective for all kinds of transient or temporally dynamic signals sufficiently regular to be predictable, that is to say signals that can be implicitly modelled by a sparse representation. through the collaboration of two recurrent neural networks and signal processing algorithms, our temporal method outperforms, in terms of accuracy, state-of-art methods, including distributed compressed sensing, time series imputation and forecasting deep learning methods. thus, high compression rates up to 95% can be reached while leading to an error of less than 0.5°C in reconstructing temperature signals.

In the rapidly evolving domain of distributed networks, including cloud computing and edge systems, achieving optimal performance efficiency is critical. Existing methods often fail to effectively handle dynamic policies, resource allocation, and scalability. this project presents a robust framework leveraging machine learning (ML) techniques integrated with NS2 simulation to address these challenges. Data collection from network nodes is the first step in the process. Preprocessing is then done to manage missing values, eliminate noise, and normalize the data for model training. Supervised learning methods like regression and classification optimize traffic prediction and routing protocols, while unsupervised techniques, including clustering, identify resource patterns for better allocation. Reinforcement learning dynamically adjusts policies to improve fault tolerance and resource management. NS2 simulation validates the model's effectiveness across various network scenarios. A remarkable accuracy of 98.77% and a minimal error rate of 1.22% are attained by the claimed framework.

the difficulty of hand function recovery in hemiplegic patients seriously affects daily life, and reliable rehabilitation training is needed. the premise of rehabilitation training is scientific and reasonable evaluation. the existing assessment methods depend entirely on the rehabilitation physicians, which are subjective, time-consuming and laborious. this paper develops an automated assessment system based on motion and distributed force measurement, combined with clinical Fugl-Meyer assessment. the array distributed flexible thin film pressure sensor attached to a gripping tool, Leap motion and virtual environment constitute an evaluation system to measure the attitude, motion and dynamics information of the hand. the joint range of motion, average velocity, peak velocity and distribution force are extracted as feature information, and input into their respective integrated fuzzy classifiers to classify the hand movement function, and finally the total evaluation score is obtained. Seven subjects were recruited for the experiment. the experimental score and the physician's score were compared with Bland-Altman method, the results showed that there were no data points outside the 95% consistency limit, so the two scores were consistent. the proposed method can be used to automatically evaluate hand motor function without physician supervision.

Software-Defined Networking (SDN) is a recent networking technology with promising properties related to the weaknesses in traditional networks. However, it mainly relies on the OpenFlow protocol that is developed for a wired network. the forwarding devices of SDN uses OpenFlow protocol to communicate their state to the controller and acquire forwarding decision from it. Under the given circumstances, frames originating from Wireless protocols such as ieee 802.11, ZigBee, and 6LoWPAN cannot be handled appropriately through the OpenFlow protocol. Moreover, the existing SDN controllers are also not designed to control and provision the networks that are obeying the heterogeneous wireless protocols. In this paper, we review the SDN-based efforts for handling the handover-related issues that may be due to mobility or data offloading from one wireless technology to another. More specifically, the three categories of networks: Wireless LAN, Wireless sensor, and cellular are considered in this article. After delving into the present SDN-based handover management efforts, the opportunities to further improve the operation and performance of handover management with the help of SDN are also presented. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

this paper presents a data video base station designed with an ARM-DSP dual-processor architecture for optimizing multi-source data processing and transmission in water environment monitoring. Addressing the challenges of high data flow and excessive energy consumption at nodes in water monitoring, this study integrates the PEGASIS (PowerEfficient Gathering in sensor Information systems) algorithm with a short-chain aggregation strategy to develop a highly efficient integration algorithm tailored for sensor networks. through system simulation, the proposed algorithm’s effectiveness is demonstrated by comparing energy consumption and data transmission delays across various scenarios. the findings indicate that the algorithm excels in enhancing data transmission efficiency and minimizing energy consumption, particularly in complex water monitoring environments, thereby significantly extending the lifespan of sensor nodes. Furthermore, simulations under different processor architectures reveal that the collaborative functioning of the ARM-DSP dual processors can further refine the real-time capabilities of data processing and improve system response speed, offering both theoretical insights and practical foundations for integrated optimization in water environment monitoring systems.

distributed deep learning is becoming increasingly popular due to the expanding demand for computing resources for deep learning models with a larger amount of parameters. Different from traditional training approaches, data-parallel training allows multiple compute nodes to train large deep learning models simultaneously in order to boost the training efficiency. In this paper, we present and compare six strategies for data-parallel training using PyTorch on the language model GPT-2 with 100M parameters using a qualitative approach. these strategies are Single GPU, Single Parameter Server, distributed Parameter Server, Horovod, distributed Parameter Server with Apex mixed-precision strategy, and Horovod with Apex mixed-precision strategy. We also analyze the quantitative experiment results from each strategy. In the end, we draw the conclusion that the distributed Parameter Server with Apex mixed-precision strategy has the best performance on single node training, while Horovod with Apex is the most robust approach to use when we have single or multiple nodes. © 2022 ACM.
