the landscape of the communication system is undergoing a rapid evolution, emphasizing the need for intelligence, efficiency, and adaptability to enable cloud computing, Internet-of-Everything, and cyber-physical systems. With the rapidly growing complexities and interconnectivities of the systems, assurance of security and privacy is of paramount importance. the inherent nature of blockchain technology is its immutability, decentralization, anonymity, and transparency. It has the potential to establish trust between distributed networks through secure access management, robust authentication, improved integrity, confidentiality, and optimized resource allocation. distributed energy storage systems are gradually being applied on a large scale. In order to cope with the change in output and power flow of renewable energy, which can further improve anti-interference ability and robustness of bidirectional DC-DC converter, an optimal control strategy for bidirectional buck-boost converter is proposed. Among them, the current inner loop adopts a model predictive control method, which improves response speed and does not require parameter tuning. the voltage outer loop adopts a reduced-order control strategy based on active disturbance rejection control, which reduces the order of control object in high frequency band and reduces the complexity of controller. Simulation results verify that the method has characteristics of fast response, basically no overshoot in the adjustment process and small fluctuation range. © 2021 ieee.

With the mathematical device of the extended Kalman filter the algorithms for estimating the parameters of RS motion with the integrated use of sensor network data obtained on the basis of Angle of Arrival, Received Signal Strength and Time Difference of Arrival measurements developed. the Monte-Carlo method was used to calculate the mathematical expectations and standard deviations of the RMS errors in the estimates of the received signal trajectory of the radiation source at separate and joint use of Angle of Arrival, Received Signal Strength and Time Difference of Arrival measurements. the results of statistical modeling demonstrates that integrated use of different data processing method allows reducing the RMS error of received signal location estimation by 3-4 times, compared with independent processing based on Angle of Arrival, Received Signal Strength, and Time Difference of Arrival measurements. © 2021 ieee.

this study presents a novel approach to enhancing touch sensor technology by utilizing machine learning techniques and neuromorphic models. Tactile sensing has struggled to accurately understand complex physical interactions, despite its significance for artificial touch and robotic dexterity. Our approach improves the classification of tactile data by using neuromorphic computing-models inspired by brain processing-to identify changes in the environment, variations in force, and textures. We evaluate our model on benchmark tactile datasets and demonstrate its superior sensory resolution and increased adaptability. For robotics, prosthetics, and human-machine interfaces, the results are very important because they show that neuromorphic tactile sensors improve the accuracy and speed of data classification. this study showcases the potential of neuromorphic models to improve tactile perception, paving the way for more advanced and adaptable sensory systems

this work proposes a real-time sentiment analysis pipeline on customer feedback using Yelp and addresses the high-volume dynamic user-generated contents processing problem. the proposal integrates state-of-the-art machine learning models and distributed systems, making use of Large Language Models within a Docker container called ChatGPT for the real-time sentiments analysis. the system ingests live Yelp data streams through TCP/IP, processes them in a scalable Apache Spark cluster, and ensures that data flows seamlessly through Apache Kafka. Enriched feedback is indexed into Elasticsearch, providing powerful analytics and visualizations through tools like Kibana, Tableau, and Power BI. the low-latency design of the pipeline gives enterprises actionable insights for real-time decision-making, enabling enhanced customer sentiment analysis and business intelligence. Scalable and efficient, this architecture fits all large volume Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) needs when looking to achieve insights fast from customer sentiment.

Recording the results of checking blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid has not made a routine history every time you check, this is what makes us make an application in the Non-Invasive Home Medical Check-up tool, Non-Invasive Home Medical Check-up is a medical device made using non-invasive methods in checking blood sugar, uric acid, cholesterol, and body temperature. this tool uses MAX30105 sensors to check uric acid, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels, and MLX90614 to check body temperature. this application is connected to the device in real-time and there is a history check display to make it easier for users to review previous checks. Making applications using MIT APP INVENTOR and using the PostgreSQL database. To ensure that everything is as expected, testing is carried out to send and store data on the results of checking the device to the database and displayed in the application. Data transmission testing is done by determining the delay time of sending tools to the database using the internet network, and the average delay in the experiment is 0.0206 seconds. Integration testing is done by comparing the data in the database with the application by means of the user must enter the correct and appropriate ID. © 2022 ieee.

this article explores how IoT device systems handle multimedia data and presents a secure multimedia framework utilizing blockchain technology. the proposed framework high- lights how blockchain ensures the safety and transparency of multimedia records, document access, and shipping processes between owners and customers. To address these challenges, we introduce a decentralized peer-to-peer multimedia file-sharing platform based on the Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) built on blockchain technology. Additionally, we propose a multimedia file block approval consensus mechanism. Recently, blockchain has been recognized as a potential technology to enforce critical security requirements in IoT devices. It offers protection for IoT networks that require sharing multimedia data, including applications in smart cities, retail, energy, security surveillance, and healthcare.

In the present scenario, the continuously increasing demand for electrical energy and the ardent scarcity of renewable energy sources leads to the need for the distributed generation (DG) systems. the DGs with nonlinear and unbalanced loads on the output lead to the power quality issues. One of the main causes of harmonic distortion is the nonlinear loads, which can be harmful in the presence of unbalanced and harmonic power supplies, i.e., power electronic converters. In this study, the inverter-based DG sources for power quality improvement is studied. the paper aims at evaluating the impact of non-linear loads and also aims at improving the power quality using proposed unified power quality conditioner (UPQC) in inverter based DGs. the studied system model is simulated in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment, and the simulation result shows the better performance under the power quality disturbances. © 2022, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

this research work proposes an innovative Battery Management System (BMS) aimed at enhancing the safety and efficiency of electric vehicles (EVs). the BMS incorporates two battery packs: a primary pack that supplies power during operation and a secondary backup pack that activates when the primary pack is depleted. the system utilizes dual voltage sensors to continuously monitor the voltage levels of both battery packs, ensuring optimal power balance and performance. A temperature sensor is integrated to measure battery temperature, triggering a cooling fan when temperatures exceed a predefined limit, thereby mitigating the risk of overheating. Furthermore, a flame detection sensor is included to identify potential fire hazards, automatically shutting down the EV and sounding an alarm when fire is detected. Real-time data on voltage and temperature is displayed on an LCD screen, while IoT connectivity facilitates remote monitoring and management. this BMS not only aims to prolong battery life through effective management but also prioritizes user safety through proactive fire detection and thermal management.

Online analytical processing plays a crucial role in data analysis by providing a powerful framework for efficiently exploring and understanding multidimensional data. With the increasing complexity and volume of data in modern organisations, the main challenge is to build OLAP cubes from distributed heterogeneous sources while considering attribute and relationship overlapping across the sources and to let analysts create their cubes on-demand to maximise their usefulness. We propose a self-service, metadata-driven approach for designing and generating OLAP cubes from heterogeneous NoSQL sources composing a data lake. We illustrate our approach through a realistic scenario where the data is scattered and overlaps across different sources. We present a proof-of-concept application that implements our proposed approach. An assessment of our proposal is conducted to highlight the efficacy and usefulness of the generated cubes for analytical purposes.
