Presented is an information system architecture based on open source platforms to support the successful management of a micro grid. the paper justifies the use of open source platforms in the micro grid context. Also given are the benefits of a micro grid as it relates to distributed energy generation and subsequently the need explained for an information system that keeps a record of all devices and their interconnections, while simultaneously providing access to instantaneous data along various points in the micro grid. three examples of services made possible by the architecture are given.

In this paper, the question of the possibility of using the magnetic induction method with differential inclusion of inductors for recording the motion parameters of a striker during dynamic indentation is considered. A prototype of the primary transducer is presented. A computer model has been developed for recording the movement of the striker during the flight and the sinusoidal movement of the magnet inside the coil. Experimental testing and comparative analysis of the results of computer simulation and experimental testing have been carried out © 2022 ieee.

Realizing distributed architectures for quantum computing is crucial to scaling up computational power. A key component of such architectures is a scheduler that coordinates operations over a short-range quantum network required to enable the necessary non-local entangling gates between quantum processing units (QPUs). It is desirable to determine schedules of minimum make span, which in the case of networks with constrained resources hinges on their efficient usage. Here we compare and contrast two approaches to solving the make span minimization problem, an approach based on the resource constrained project scheduling (RCPSP) framework, and another based on a greedy heuristic algorithm. the workflow considered is as follows. Firstly, the computational circuit is partitioned and assigned to different QPUs such that the number of nonlocal entangling gates acting across partitions is minimized while the qubit load is nearly uniform on the individual QPUs, which can be accomplished using, e.g., the METIS solver. Secondly, the nonlocal entangling gate requirements with respect to the partitions are identified, and mapped to network operation sequences that deliver the necessary entanglement between the QPUs. Finally, the network operations are scheduled such that the make span is minimized. As illustrative examples, we analyze the implementation of a small instance of the Quantum Fourier Transform algorithm over instances of a simple hub and spoke (star) network architecture comprised of a quantum switch as the hub and QPUs as spokes, each with a finite qubit resource budget. In one instance, our results show the RCPSP approach outperforming the greedy heuristic. In another instance, we find the two performing equally well. Our results thus illustrate the effectiveness of the RCPSP framework, while also underlining the relevance and usefulness of greedy heuristics.

In this article, the finite-time $\mathcal{H}_{\infty}$ control problem of nonlinear distributed parameter Cyber-Physical systems (CPSs) is studied. By employing the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model, the nonlinear DPSs are described as a fuzzy parabolic partial differential equation (PDE). the state information is considered to be quantized by a kind of dynamic quantizers. then, a fuzzy state feedback controller is proposed. Based on the free-matrix inequality approach, sufficient design conditions for control gains and the quantizers' adjusting parameters are provided to obtain the boundness of the fuzzy closed-loop system in finite-time interval. Finally, a simulation study in a cascaded of two cylindrical lithium batteries is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Existing nutrient sensors have shortcomings, such as their long measurement cycles (more than 1 h), low sensitivity, and infeasibility for use in vertical profiling systems. To deal with these drawbacks, in the current work, we devised a photoelectric detection scheme for a multichannel nutrient sensor in seawater[1]. the multi-channel detection method is adopted, that is, 5 independent light source driving circuits and 5 independent photoelectric detection circuits work at the same time, so as to realize the multi-channel simultaneous measurement of nutrient salts. the optical signals with stable wavelength and power emitted by 5 LEDs are irradiated to the corresponding circulation pool respectively, and the output optical signals are transmitted to the detection function module in the pressure resistant cabin through the optical water tight connector. All of the photoelectric signals are sent to a high-precision A/D (Analog-to-Digital Converter) unit for synchronous collection after I/V (Current to voltage conversion) and filtering. the concentration of nutrient salt corresponding to the absorbance is then obtained using the Beer-Lambert law. the obtained results indicate that the sensor based on the proposed scheme can reach a detection frequency of 1 Hz. this sensor is superior to the traditional nutrient sensor in terms of its operation in vertical profiling systems, allowing for decreases in sensing time of as much as 90% when compared with traditional instruments. the greatest advantage of the proposed sensor scheme is that it can be broadly used in vertical profiling systems for deep-sea investigation and research.

Industrial wireless communication networks (IWCNs) have been widely applied in data interaction between field sensors and edge computing units. Nevertheless, harsh industrial environments and malicious attacks cause data loss and delay, which makes it challenging to satisfy the reliability and timeliness requirements of IWCNs. Considering the limited communication energy budget, computation capacity, and multiple unreliable factors, traditional reliable transmission policies become less efficient for IWCNs. To handle these issues, in this paper, we introduce an online learning-based trust model and present a trust-delay aware energy-efficient transmission scheme (TDEETs) to reduce communication energy consumption while satisfying data reliability and control stability constraints. Firstly, a novel trust prediction mechanism based on online extreme learning machine (ELM) with a forgetting factor is proposed. then, with the aid of low-complexity trust prediction, the optimal path selection strategy and retransmission policy are designed by online solving the optimization problem. Finally, numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed trust prediction mechanism and the transmission performance improvement using TDEETs.

this research investigates the potential of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to optimize query operations in the Object Management Group (OMG) trading service, emphasizing the need for swift query responses in distributed systems. By leveraging LDAP's inherent strengths in read-intensive environments, this study proposes a solution to enhance information retrieval and search efficiency. through a comparative analysis involving a trading service configured with LDAP versus one using a conventional database backend, the results highlight superior performance in query response times when utilizing LDAP. the findings underscore the efficacy of LDAP as a backend storage mechanism, particularly in scenarios demanding rapid data access, and suggest its suitability for improving the operational efficiency of trading services in distributed computing contexts. © 2025 the Author(s). We investigate a cross-sensor recognition algorithm for heterogeneous sensors based on shared representation learning to address the difficulty of non-cooperative object recognition in C4ISR systems due to modal barriers, imbalanced data distribution, and few-shot labeled samples. First, deep multiset canonical correlation analysis is used to learn the shared space among heterogeneous sensors by only unlabeled spatiotemporal correlation data from sensors. Second, scattered labeled data from multiple sensors are concentrated in shared space, which removes the modality barrier of each sensor and produces big data samples for training the classification network. Finally, the classification model is trained and directly used to classify the new observations for each sensor in the shared space, which constitutes a general-purpose cross-sensor target recognition. Experiments based on target recording data show that the proposed algorithm can achieve 60-78% accuracy in cross-sensor recognition for radar, ESM, optical, and sonar sensors, indicating a significant engineering value.

this research introduces an alternative approach to design low-power analog artificial neural networks with a power consumption of only 532nW. the proposed network consists of sigmoid activation function circuit, tanh approximation circuit along with a current comparator. In order to validate the behavior as an analog classifier, a real-time vessel dataset is used, achieving an accuracy of 86.50% in predicting true waves from inertial sensor data. Moreover, a comparative assessment among other analog classifiers is conducted, all trained on the same dataset. these models underwent training via a software-based implementation. the architecture was implemented using the TSMC 90nm CMOS process and simulated using the Cadence IC Suite.
