this paper aims to propose the design and implementation of a real-time model-mixed engine dispatching system. the proposed engine dispatching system (EDS) is applied to the engine plant of Ford Lio-Ho Motor Company. the production system of Ford Lio-Ho Engine Plant (FLHEP) is a highly model-mixed production system. It attempts to achieve the goals of more flexibility, higher efficiency, lower cost and less shop floor space. In order to handle such a model-mixed production system, an efficient real-time dispatcher, EDS, is required. the EDS is a client-server configuration. the EDS server handles the real-time engine dispatching, operator's loading balance, integrating distributed data and security control. Besides, the EDS server provides the performance measure, graphical user interface, user's classification, production information and dispatching information. On the other hand, the EDS server broadcasts the information to all EDS clients. In this manner, the production information can be synchronized and the engines can be assembled in parallel in FLHEP. the objectives of EDS are to eliminate the bottlenecks of the original system, balance operator's loading, improve product's quality, integrate distributed production data and provide efficient dispatching rules. Since the proposed EDS is constructed by using the modular design and object-oriented approach, it is easy to integrate, extend, test and debug.

Data Monitoring becomes mandatory for several IoT applications including smart greenhouse. It aims to increase the quality of information by identifying existing errors and anomalies, especially using outlier detection process by machine learning-data classification. Existing approaches require the knowledge of data characteristics in advance. However, this requirement is not always possible in IoT due to the heterogeneity of devices. therefore, this paper provides VoteIoT: a new monitoring method based on data analytic and vote clustering outcome. In this way, we increase the probability of making a good decision and guaranteeing a good harvest of greenhouses. To evaluate the proposed solution, we used a real database extended by augmented data. the results show a good response time, below 0.01 seconds, as well as a good detection accuracy of 97%. Additionally, the false alarms are below 3% and therefore, a low useful data loss. Moreover, we have managed to increase the probability of a good decision compared to existing solutions.

In a model-driven engineering development process that focuses on guaranteeing that extra-functional concerns modeled at design level are preserved at platform execution level, the task of automated code generation must produce artifacts that enable back-annotation activities. In fact when the target platform code has been generated, quality attributes of the system are evaluated by appropriate code execution monitoring/analysis tools and their results back-annotated to the source models to be extensively evaluated. Only at this point the preservation of analysed extra-functional aspects can be either asserted or achieved by re-applying the code generation chain to the source models properly optimized according to the evaluation results. In this work we provide a solution for the problem of automatically generating target platform code from source models focusing on producing code artifacts that facilitate analysis and enable back-annotation activities. Arisen challenges and solutions are described together with completed and planned implementation of the proposed approach.

Communication needs in avionics and transportation have radically changed over the recent years. Traditionally, the underlying hard real-time networks were designed in a centralized way, focusing on redundancy and isolation. Today, real-time communication is ubiquitous, from large airplanes to small vehicles. the associated networks must support a wide range of applications, and large amounts of data. Centralized approaches from the avionics domain, e.g., AFDX, are too costly, too heavyweight, and not flexible enough for these *** this paper we explore a new distributed network architecture designed to support jumbo airliners, but also small aircraft and drones. Communication redundancy is achieved using redundant paths, which have to be adapted and optimized to the application. the main challenge then is to build an optimized network configuration ensuring safety, fault tolerance, timing, and performance of both critical, and non-critical communication. Minimizing volume and weight of the equipment is also mandatory. Since the solution space is too large to be explored in reasonable time, we propose a genetic algorithm. Our experiments show that our algorithm converges quickly and offers solutions of excellent quality. the computed solutions are in the top 2% among the best solutions obtained using an exhaustive exploration. Our approach thus enables system engineers to quickly explore and choose very good solution for their systems.

Formal concept analysis (FCA) is one of the approaches which can be applied in process of conceptual modeling in domain of text documents. FCA can be used for formal analysis of data tables and identification of similar objects - clusters (concepts). Extension of classic FCA (binary table data) is one-sided fuzzy version that works withreal values in the object-attribute table (document- term matrix in case of vector representation of textual documents). Computational complexity of creation of concept lattices from large context is considerable. this paper describes one simple approach to creation of simple hierarchy of concepts. Starting set of documents is decomposed to smaller sets of similar documents withthe use of clustering algorithm. then one concept lattice is built upon every cluster using FCA method and these FCA-based models are combined to simple hierarchy of concept lattices using agglomerative clustering algorithm. For our experiments we used GHSOM algorithm for finding of appropriate clusters, then 'upper neighbors' FCA algorithm was used for building of particular concept lattices. Finally, particular FCA models were labeled by some characteristic terms and simple agglomerative algorithm was used for clustering of local models, withthe metric based on these characteristic lattices terms. We have used this approach also to extend it for Grid-based solution in which time consuming building of several local models is distributed between grid computing nodes and then it leads to speed-up of computing of final model.
