Tracking moving-object is one of the key techniques in the intelligent surveillance system, which involves many subjects such as computervision, Digital imageprocessing and so on. In this paper, we firstly apply SVR model to invent the function of background confidence, which is used to estimate the reliability of pixel attribute. And then the color histogram and the mean-shift algorithm are applied to position the moving-object in video image. Pointing to the problems existed in the traditional tracking algorithm, we presents a solution to improve the tracking effect. the test proves that our solution achieves good actual results.

In this paper we propose a clustering technique for the recognition of pigmented skin lesions in dermatological images. It is known that computervision-based diagnosis systems have been used aiming mostly at the early detection of skin cancer and more specifically the recognition of malignant melanoma tumour. the feature extraction is performed utilising digital imageprocessing methods, i.e. segmentation, border detection, colour and texture processing. the proposed method belongs to a class of clustering algorithms which are very successful in dealing with high dimensional data, utilising information driven by the Principal Component Analysis. Experimental results show the high performance of the algorithm against other methods of the same class.

this paper presents a sequential research works on visual information acquirement and intelligent control of arc weld pool dynamics and seam formation during pulsed GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) in robotic welding process. the visual information acquirement methods are focused in computervision sensing, imageprocessing and characteristic extraction of the weld pool surface from the single-item pool images by particular algorithms for robotic welding process. Based on acquired visual characteristics of weld pool and established neural network and knowledge models for predicting dynamical characteristics of weld pool during robotic welding, corresponding control methods, such adaptive control, self-learning and other composite intelligent control strategies are developed to control welding pool dynamics during pulsed GTAW by welding robot. Some experiments and applications of intelligent control methods in welding robot systems are shown in the paper.
