this study is, after analyze of Semantic web Application and web ontology characteristics, established inference-based web ontology that use expression of Description Logic and SWRL, and verified inference that established web Ontologies. Especially, this study there is the merit that can recreate new Ontology through inference. Be it performs an inference rule defined, and to generate a new Ontology file through knowledge base ontologies. this the way that can achieve an important purpose called reuse and sharing under functions of ontology. Implemented a Test System to support an Intelligent Image Retrieval based on that established web ontologies. the test result, Semantic web Application use inference-based web ontology showed with excellent performance in recall ratio and correctness rates than target system that use annotation-based ontology.

this paper describes on application system that provides web sites withthe location information of the internet users using their IP addresses. the IP addresses are very large size of data(2(32)) and the response time of the system should be short enough to be capable of dealing with large number of requests (thousands of queries per second) of web sites. Location information retrieval is similar to network router issue in finding destination of packets with IP addresses but also much difference in protocol, data size and complexity. the location information system using IP address is comprised of array, trie, hashing, and memory database. Experiments of each data structure and their performances are compared and discussed.

the formation of Sematic web Services (SWS) makes it possible to discover, implement and compose web service automatically. OWL-S, the description language of Sematic web Service, increases flexibility of web service description, enriches expressiveness of it and provides a capability-based mechanism of web service discovery. We introduce a automatic discovery algorithm of SWS in this paper. the property of web service including Input, Output, Pre-condition and Effect is matched with user's requirement, and then we calculate matchmaking degree. We can also combine UDDI withthis matchmaking in order to get better result of web service discovery for users.

In semiotics, pragmatics is about purpose, context, communication and negotiation. the concept of pragmatics could be introduced into the web service technology to become the pragmatic web service. Intelligent agents play a vital role in this web service architecture especially for web service integration to provide better solution based on service consumers' overall requirement. In this paper, intelligent agents and are described to manage users' intention, service context, information communication and negotiation between service consumers and service providers. In addition, the agents need to be able to analyze user's requirements, construct web service abstract work flow and rank the semantic equivalent web services from the service registry. Section2 describes the research background of pragmatic web services. Section3 is about the basic structure of pragmatic web service agents and section4 concerns the agent-based web service integration.

this paper presents a Korean spacing approach which employs an improved Viterbi segmentation model. Traditional Viterbi segmentation using the word unigram language model is simple and fast, but has two problems: data sparseness and improper preference of fewer segments. To overcome these limitations, the segmentation model is extended by employing a split probability based on character bigram. Contextual information is selectively used for further resolution of spacing ambiguities without much increase of the complexity Experimental results show that the extended model performs better than the traditional segmentation model. Futhermore, compared to the state of the ail system, our approach achieves better efficiency in terms of processing time without losing significant accuracy.

A web BBS is one of representative interfaces in a web community. web queries for the BBS have the inefficiency that a query optimizer should read all the contents of the BBS stored in a database every query, since web mechanism cannot memorize the previous state. In addition, the queries in a web BBS should guarantee the 'random page jump' property characterizing the BBS. In this paper, a query optimization method and its SQL statements for a web BBS are proposed using Oracle's new facilities - a window-based analytic function and a function-based index. Also, the proposed queries are verified through applying them to a real web community, showing that they make meaningful improvements in query performance.

information Retrieval (IR) techniques have been extensively studied since late 1940s and achieved great success evidenced particularly by popular online search engines. However, various classical information retrieval models also have witnessed criticism for emphasizing computation with occurrence of words while ignoring semantics (i.e. meaning of words, search context and etc). Research of the Semantic web in recent years has provided an opportunity to migrate from mere word-computing to semantic-enhanced information search and retrieval. In this paper, we describe a methodology by combing the Semantic web technologies, information extraction and social network analysis techniques to elicit semantics from available data in order to develop a semantic-enhanced information search and retrieval system.

In this paper we propose a method to analyse contextual perspectives in information search and retrieval process in the Semantic web framework. We start with definitions of context in different computer science applications. We discuss our specific purpose of context-aware information representation and then describe utilising the context confidence factor for ranking the relationships. A confidence factor specifies relevancy degree of an entity to a context in a particular domain. We demonstrate how the uncertainty and Bayesian rule are taken in to account to compute the confidence factor for the results of a query. the main goal is providing a context-aware ranking method which defines degree of relevancy between resources in a set of related information to a particular query.

Due to the lack of word boundaries in Asian systems of writing, machine processing of these languages often, involves segmenting text into word units. this paper tests the assumption that this segmentation is a necessary step for authorship attribution and topic classification tasks in Chinese, and demonstrates that it is not. We show extensive results for both tasks, considering both single words and short phrases as features, and examining the effect of document length on classification accuracy. Our experiments show that a naive character bigram model of text performs as well as models generated using a state-of-the-art automatic segmenter.

WSQM TC, an OASIS technical committee for web service quality model, published the web Services Quality Model (WSQM which models and explains the quality factor, quality action, and quality associates for web services. WSQM focuses on the classification and definition of quality factors and activities of associates conceptually. As the coverage of web services expands and implementation cases of them increase, the importance of the method which applies the quality model to real world practically grows up to make it easy communicating the information of quality of web services. this research report presents the method describing the quality factors of web services and SOA normally and quantitatively. For this, we adopt the standard XML schema as the framework for describing web services quality. this report provides briefly the WSQM which is basis of WSQDL (web Services Quality Description language) and explains the considerations, the concept of quality chain, the overall structure of WSQDL, and items of WSQDL. the followings are the summary of the report.
