As the first step, our proposed algorithm is to expand the problem search space through the Random Mutation Inherit (RMI) population initialization method thereby improving convergence performance. the cubic spline interpolation is frequently used for analysis the data set in various aspects of engineering and science problem. For a large set of data points defined with very large range, it is very difficult to interpolate by using traditional sequential algorithm. In this paper, we proposed a more systematic approach which has a parallel component known as skeleton which is implemented in various parallel paradigms like OpenMP, MPI, and CUDA etc. It is interesting that the skeleton approach is used with pipelining technique that gives better result as compared to the previous studies. this approach is applied to compute the cubic spline interpolating polynomial based on a large data set. the experimental result using the parallel skeleton technique on multi-core CPU and GPU shows better performance with respect to other parallel methods.

For high-speed digital receivers, the crucial problem is to find a parallel carrier synchronization algorithm, but the traditional carrier synchronization methods based on phase-locked loop (PLL) are difficult to be parallel implemented. In this paper, we propose a parallelizable carrier synchronization algorithm based on maximum likelihood estimation (MLE). the simulation results show that the performances of locking and without losing are very good when proper data length for estimation is selected. Finally, the algorithm is applied to practical communication systems and the results show that the device utilization and BER performance loss are all very low.

the backprojection-filtration (BPF) algorithm is one of the exact image reconstruction algorithms from cone-beam projections. It can be applied to reconstruct images for a wide class of general scanning trajectories and is capable of reconstructing an image within a region of interest (ROI) from projection data containing truncations. Just like the other 3D image reconstruction algorithms, the BPF algorithm is time consuming. Here we study a parallelcomputing scheme, which partitions the image data according to PI-planes, to accelerate the BPF algorithm. Several numerical experiments are conducted on a cluster to verify the benefits of parallel implementations.

parallel processing is considered effective in order to solve problems with significant computational complexity. the development of graphics processing units (GPU) in recent years has led to eneral purpose GPU (GPGPU) and brought significant benefits to the AI research field. In conventional parallel processing, processes must be frequently synchronized;thus, parallelcomputing does not necessarily improve the efficiency of computation except for special algorithms designed for parallel computation. In this study, we investigate the effect of applying MultiStart based speculative computation on GPGPU. this method incurs little synchronization overhead. Although the effect of this method is stochastic, an expected value is theoretically calculable. We analyze theoretically about the effects of the speculative method, and provide the results of applying the method to combinatorial optimization problems.

Cancer research is a challenging and competitive field. the study of gene expression data has enabled the discovery of unknown types of cancer using unsupervised learning. However, genomic sequence data are increasing in an exponential manner. Indeed, since 2011 the global annual sequencing capacity is estimated to be quadrillions of bases and counting. To cope withthis issue, we propose, in this paper, the implementation of differential evolution clustering algorithm using MapReduce methodology in order to deal with big data. the proposed algorithm consists in three consecutive levels. Experiments were conducted on 18 real gene expression data sets. the obtained results have shown that our approach is effective and competes with existing algorithms.
