this paper introduces the internet of things technology and makes full use of the perceptual advantages of the internet of things at the end of the network to realize the seamless connection of the sensor network, the terminal communication access network and the backbone network. Intrusion detection systems contribute to the improvement of the security of systems as well as the confidentiality and integrity of data. these systems are based on traffic analysis, which makes their performance and response time sensitive to the density of network traffic and distributed denial of service attacks. In this paper, we suggest a new collaborative intrusion detection system based on a multi-agent system. the intrusion detection technique relies on dynamic load balancing of traffic analysis to enhance the performance of intrusion detection, especially distributed denial of service attacks. In particular, mobile agents collaborate to analyze traffic using decision trees, support vector machines, and neural networks. the results of the experiment, using NSL-KDD public dataset, show that the proposed intrusion detection system architecture improved the performance and the scalability of intrusion detection compared with state of the art techniques. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's day there are billions of interconnected smart devices present which are called internet-of-things (IoT). It contains software, sensors and a bunch of other technologies trying to connect the systems with the purpose of sharing information over the internet. this system is producing massive amounts of data over the internet. this massive amount of data requires an appropriate spectrum to transmit the data to their server. so that it benefits us in an economical way. Machine learning has been successful in fields of speech recognition, graphics, prediction and decision making. Machine learning is used in our research for optimally allocating the resources. Edge computing can be a possible solution for IoT networks because it puts computer capabilities closer to the user. IoT users have recently been created to have more powerful computing abilities, allowing them to run few tasks locally. the article tries to use edge computing with Machine learning for optimal allocation of resources. K-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster the IoT user into different clusters depending on the distance and feature of their user priority. the cluster of higher priority is executed at the edge level while the lower cluster is executed at the local level. the challenge is to provide a long-term solution for the economical, effective resource allocation in the available spectrum with minimum energy usage. A deep Q-network (DQN) based computational offloading technique is also created to gain knowledge of the appropriate computational offload plan. Furthermore, the DQN-based computational offloading technique surpasses the baseline systems. through the simulation results, it is concluded that the proposed approach outperforms with the state-of-the-art models.. © 2023 IEEE.

Despite the relentless progress in adoption of smart devices occurring around all us in our smart homes, our wearable devices, our smart cities and workplaces -, progress in the adoption of smart technology in the mining sector has languished. Yet the mining sector powers our energy systems and makes components for smart devices possible, while employing over 4.5 million people world-wide in some of the most extreme & hostile environments. this paper presents the design of a prototype industrial IoT platform for large-scale industrial automation of conventional mines.

In recent years, with the application of Multi-access edge computing (MEC) technology in the power internet of things (PIOT), the power internet of things has gradually formed a development trend of large connections, wide coverage, real-time, and intelligence. However, the introduction of MEC makes the power internet of things involve more information transmission and data processing, and how to strengthen the preventive measures for data security and privacy protection is also a key challenge. Aiming at the problem that the edge nodes in the power internet of things are vulnerable to attacks, this paper proposes a network security strategy for the power internet of things based on cloud-edge collaboration. this strategy updates their respective trust values in real time through the communication and interaction between nodes, and quickly detects abnormal nodes in the network based on the trust values. At the same time, this paper implements the abnormal node detection smart contract proposed in this paper based on the Hyperledger Fabric blockchain platform. the experimental results show that the designed abnormal node detection smart contract accurately detects the abnormal nodes in the network, and successfully synchronizes the results with all nodes, effectively ensuring the operation security of the power internet of things. © 2023 IEEE.

As internet applications and big data technology rapidly advanc, the cloud computing industry is booming. Users can now obtain the required resources from the cloud computing environment according to their personal needs. the objective of this paper is to reduce the time required for task completion. Based on the characteristics of particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) and the characteristics of cloud computing task scheduling problem, an improved PSO algorithm is proposed to address the challenge of scheduling cloud computing tasks. To begin with, this paper analyzes the development status of cloud computing, and deeply studies the concept, characteristics and goals of task scheduling in cloud computing. Afterwards, the theoretical underpinnings of the PSO algorithm are delved into, and its distinguishing characteristics are fully explored: it has the advantages of fast convergence and simple calculation, but it may fall into local optimal solution. In this paper, a new inertia weight optimization scheme utilizing a sine-based approach is introduced. After analyzing the characteristics of cloud computing task scheduling, the PSO algorithm is discretized for task scheduling. the simulation results show that the improved discrete particle swarm scheduling algorithm (IDPSO) is superior to the standard discrete PSO algorithm, which reduces the time of task scheduling and improves the scheduling efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

Currently, a variety of areas use fleet management systems to organize mobility and delivery services. One of the most important technologies for subterranean fleet management is optimal path planning. Due to the intricate nature of both the drift environment and the vehicle's structure, some modifications are necessary to accommodate the unique requirements of underground mining. this study suggests leveraging the internet of things (IoT) to design a fleet management system for underground coal mines. Optimal path planning is one of the key technologies for underground fleet management. thus, IoT gives the efficient solution for finding the optimal path in underground coal mines. Moreover, the Voronoi diagram approach and its associated scenarios are the basis of the optimal path planning method, which is based on an upgraded A∗ (A-Star) algorithm for path planning for underground vehicles. the results are analyzed in terms of length of the path and number of examined cells for various existing algorithms along with the proposed algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.
