this article explores how IoT device systems handle multimedia data and presents a secure multimedia framework utilizing blockchain technology. the proposed framework high- lights how blockchain ensures the safety and transparency of multimedia records, document access, and shipping processes between owners and customers. To address these challenges, we introduce a decentralized peer-to-peer multimedia file-sharing platform based on the Inter Planetary File System (IPFS) built on blockchain technology. Additionally, we propose a multimedia file block approval consensus mechanism. Recently, blockchain has been recognized as a potential technology to enforce critical security requirements in IoT devices. It offers protection for IoT networks that require sharing multimedia data, including applications in smart cities, retail, energy, security surveillance, and healthcare. © 2023 IEEE.

In the last few years, the internet of things (IoT) has become important part of our lives and its influence is expected to exponentially increase in the next years. Computer systems and applications are improve day by day and with the advancement in such area it give birth to new cyber-attacks. Man in the Middle attacks (MITM) are one of those attacks. An attack where an outsider or third party enters in between two online users, where both of the users are unaware of it. Mainly it is knows as a protocol to an unauthorized user within the system who can access as well as change the information of the system without leaving any trace to the existing users. Cloud, edge and fog computing added more flavors in terms of better throughput and low latency in ease of accessing data. Edge computing refers to a distributed open platform which helps off-loading tasks and processing of cloud at edge of the network. the edge serves as a bridge between the digital and physical worlds making gateways, systems and services smart and efficient. Due to the exponential growth of IoT produced data, its complexity is also expected to increase and raises need for innovation for improved security in Mobile Edge computing (MEC) environment. this research is conducted to propose a lightweight Blockchain solution using private/public keys and employing sharding for off-loading computation intensive tasks at MEC. Inter-Planetary File System (IPFS) database has been used to offload computational task from edge servers. Proposed technique is implemented using Java Script and *** and simulated through Visual Studio Code and results are compared with other lightweight encryption algorithms proposed for IoT. © 2023 SPIE.

this paper demonstrates EDICT, a simulation tool for performance metrics datasets in IoT environments. Such environments are represented using the NGSI-LD data model. EDICT uses NGSI-LD instances and Open Queueing Networks for the composition of a concrete QoS model that is then simulated to generate a performance metrics dataset. this dataset captures performance metrics of Edge interactions such as response time and throughput. We demonstrate the utility of EDICT by showing how a perfomance metrics dataset can be generated for a specific IoT environment. © 2023 IEEE.

As networks continue to expand, they become increasingly heterogeneous, accommodating a diverse range of devices, from sensors and IoT to clients and servers. this ecosystem is highly distributed, with network facilities supporting many broadband devices, as well as device mobility and dynamic variations in networks, which makes them vulnerable to security attacks. In light of this, this paper reviews previous research on securing 5G networks and identifies the most effective methods. By analyzing various approaches, we determine which method is the most appropriate and provides the highest accuracy for securing our 5G networks. this review paper provides a valuable resource for those seeking to optimize the security of their 5G networks in the face of evolving security threats.. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, the rapid development of 6G, edge computing, internet of things and other technologies has made wireless communication technology an important direction of modern scientific and technological progress. the research of wireless communication technology based on machine learning is facing the common pain point problem of lacking large-scale and high-quality data sets. the application of data-driven learning algorithms is restricted by its inherent characteristics, and wireless communication data has problems such as high collection difficulty, high cleaning cost, and large label data. therefore, in order to develop wireless communication technology based on machine learning, we first need to meet the needs of high-quality wireless communication data sets. this paper proposes a radio modulation data augmentation method based on improved conditional generative adversarial networks (RMDA-CGAN), and verifies the effectiveness of the augmented data set through classification tasks. © 2023 IEEE.

Data clustering is a technique related to technology that can be used and utilized in vast areas of computer science and other applications. In this work, the technique access and used for clustering is improved-hybrid clustering in cloud computing with the application of GA in the algorithm. the process is started by uploading the text documents on the cloud and the GA algorithm of improved-hybrid similarity is applied and results are considered for analysis. the research is a step towards innovation and two parameters for resource optimization are taken into consideration viz., memory consume and CPU utilization. the results obtained for memory utilization and CPU utilization are scalable and optimal in the carried-out study. © 2023 IEEE.

Cloud storage is crucial for managing large datasets, but dependence on a single cloud space raises security concerns. Conversely, distributed Ledger technology (DLT) provides a secure cloud-based storage system operating on a peer-to-peer network. In our proposed system, user files are encrypted and distributed across multiple peers using the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) protocol, with hash values stored in the *** project integrates DLT and a cloud platform for storing filesfrom various users. Our project, distributed Cloud File Sharing technology (DCFST), merges distributed computing principles with cloud technology to overcome traditional file-sharing limitations. It enables secure file sharing, storage, and access across interconnected devices, ensuring data integrity and authentication through blockchain. Smart contracts automate access control,granting precise content control to users. DCFST orchestrates a peer-to-peer network of nodes, with a central coordinator managing node discovery, file indexing, and load balancing. the implementation utilizes Python, JavaScript, and Ethereum for smart contract execution. DCFST introduces a resilient, user-centric file-sharing ecosystem by merging distributed systems with cloud infrastructure. It contributes to decentralized technology evolution, revolutionizing data collaboration and access paradigms. © 2024 IEEE.

With the increasing demand in drone technology, internet-of-drones (IoD) has attracted researchers to contribute multiple benefits for various military and civilian applications. Providing security in a distributed IoD environment is highly challenging due to its inherent open characteristics in radio channels. Nevertheless. communication through such insecure transmission paths in unattended drone applications make it highly vulnerable to privacy and security issues. the proposed work focuses on providing a secured communication path between ground stations and Unmanned Aerial vehicles UAVs (drones) by mitigating inherent vulnerabilities. A hash based cryptographic algorithm is presented through different phases for the registration and key agreement of IoD nodes. A simulation environment is set up using OMNeT++ with a decentralised IoD paradigm to evaluate the proposed protocol. the performance analysis hence proved that the presented protocol provides an efficient secure transmission path for real time UAV applications. © 2025 the Authors. Future computing entities should be capable of accessing computing resources for data-intensive algorithm execution. this should be realizable in operational contexts where internet accessibility to cloud contexts becomes challenging. Such a scenario describes developing contexts. In addition, future computing entities also make use of multiple operating systems in a context where the computing resources are reduced due to the use of partitions. the use of partitions is recognized to reduce the number of accessible computing resources and increase the overhead associated with computing resource allocation. the presented research proposes an architecture where an operating system is logically stowed and selectively activated without involving the use of partition. this frees up the number of computing resources previously locked in different partition systems and reduces the computing resource overhead. Analysis shows that the proposed framework increases the accessible computing resources by 14.6% on average. In addition, the computing resource overhead is reduced by 21 % on average. © 2023 IEEE.
