the study aims to analyze consumer perception toward adopting internet of things (IoT) technology in healthcare. In contrast to earlier studies that focused on the technical aspects, the proposed integrated paradigm measures how user trust is affected by the existence of security and privacy concerns, and knowledge of the internet of things. the proposed architecture presents a holistic system for health data management that is secure and efficient in modern health systems, designed and developed using four layers: hospital, remote IoT integrated medical device, distributed medical record, and AI-based smart contract. the system is supposed to enhance security of data and efficiency in its management with integration of the blockchain technology and the AI-based intelligence. the hospital layer is similar to the database that stores the data of the patient, and the distributed medical record layer makes the storage of the data and the access from it secure through blockchain. the data transfer of the health parameters of the patient through the IoT-enabled medical node can be done using the blockchain. the Al-based smart contract layer brings in the intelligence of the system for automatic decision-making and proactive breach detection. Evaluation was made on the system's performance under different conditions, such as transaction processing time, average delay, where it demonstrated scalability, reliability, and robustness in the management of health data and hence sounds quite promising for this domain of modern healthcare. © 2024 IEEE.

this paper presents a solution for leveraging High-Performance computing (HPC) infrastructures, and investigates the integration of distributed deep learning (DDL) techniques to address Industry 4.0 challenges across three distinct applications: intrusion detection with multi-layer perceptron, defect identification with convolutional neural networks, and predictive maintenance with recurrent neural network. Experimental results, underscore the scalability and efficiency of the proposed DDL approach. Notably, computations are accelerated by up to 46 times. In addition to performance metrics, this research places significant emphasis on environmental sustainability. Detailed examination of energy consumption patterns on the HPC infrastructure aims to minimize the carbon footprint associated with deep learning processes. this dual focus on efficiency and sustainability positions the approach as a holistic and responsible solution for Industry 4.0 applications. the practical insights enhance the efficiency of deploying DDL in HPC infrastructure. Additionally, they highlight the significance of ecofriendly AI practices for ethical and environmentally sustainable technological progress.

computing has become available everywhere due to the huge spread of the internet of things (IoT) technologies across multiple and diverse areas. IoT expands internet connectivity and connects several devices to the internet, in addition to collecting and processing data for decision-making. IoT technology has grown significantly across various industrial sectors with several and varied applications. On the other hand, the Industrial internet of things (IIoT) technology is based on a centralized architecture, which has the disadvantage of being likely to be exposed to an attack affecting the availability or leading to decision-making errors. therefore, Blockchain technology is an appropriate solution combined with IIoT technologies. It shows a marked potential to raise the level of security within the IIoT, when the IIoT is in the form of a distributed ledger relying on decentralization. Decentralization limits or mitigates tampering, as it maintains data records across varied and multiple locations. this distinguishing feature of Blockchain technology also resolves problems, such as heterogeneity in traditional IoT networks. However, integrating Blockchain technology with IIoT systems leads to several challenges, such as environmental operability, scalability, and standardization. therefore, this research study provides a comprehensive overview of IIoT security and investigates how IIoT security and privacy can be enhanced by using Blockchain technology. It also discusses recent research trends in the area and the use of Blockchain technology for risk management in IIoT systems. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper aims to present the survey of cloud computing security. A cloud computing security is defined so that it can help to clarify cloud security. Cloud computing has evolved to become an essential component of both current and future information technologies. this technology was created to be used in conjunction with the internet, and it includes features such as data storage, remote access, and so on. Various cryptographic encryption algorithms are compared in terms of their various key features. the primary goal is to highlight such attacks and provide recommendations for resolving data breaching issues using cryptographic algorithms such as Symmetric Key Cryptographic Algorithms (DES, 3DES, AES), Asymmetric Key Cryptographic Algorithms (RSA, DSA, Diffie-Hellman Algorithm), and Hashing Algorithms (MD5, SHA). So, in the paper cloud security challenges and the cryptographic algorithms used to prevent them are discussed. © 2022 IEEE.

the advent of connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) is bringing forth a revolutionary new era of technology transforming transportation. For traffic to be optimized and safe, efficient vehicle-to-everything collaboration and improved autonomous vehicles (AV) decision-making are crucial. It becomes essential to make decisions in real time using information from vehicle sensors, software, and traffic data. As a part of such an In-Vehicle Network (IVN), over-the-air (OTA) software update service in CAVs needs to be facilitated rapidly, reliably, and securely. However, by taking advantage of vulnerabilities, attackers may quickly target the OTA software update as part of botnets to execute distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. the enormous volume and widespread nature of these DDoS cyber-attacks make it vital for the CAV industry to work quickly on identifying and preventing these threats. this paper proposes proof-of-concept experiments with the Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) Blockchain model to detect and prevent DDoS attacks in CAVs' OTA update systems. the proposed method implements Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) as the consensus mechanism and a distributed firewall to ensure the ledger is secure and tamper-proof. the system is tested on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) Blockchain (BC) platform. the results show that the proposed approach effectively prevents DDoS attacks while ensuring fast transaction execution time.

With the development of the internet, the information stored on the network in text form is exploding. the large accumulation of dynamic information hinders its effective human use. As an information retrieval tool on the large-scale text collection, the search engine has become an important tool to solve the network information access at the beginning of its birth, and occupies an increasingly important position in the human information life in the subsequent development. For a certain query, the search engine may hit hundreds of millions of memory query results, while users are often only concerned about the optimal dozens of results that meet their query requirements. How to quickly and accurately find the set of results that best meet the query requirements from the large number of results hit by the search engine, which constitutes a key problem in the search engine design is the top-k query problem. the Top-k queries target the objects scattered in different information sources, and find out the k objects with the best score according to the aggregation function. It has wide applications in the field of information retrieval and is a key component affecting the performance of search engines. In order to improve the data processing power of top-k queries and accelerate the computation process of top-k queries, this paper targets the distributed memory system to study the key technologies of top-k query parallel algorithm design and performance optimization. the study of parallel query algorithm and performance optimization technology can make full use of the processing power of existing parallel computers to solve the problems of massive data processing and real-time performance in top-k query, which has important academic value and application value. © 2023 IEEE.

*A graph is a structure that can express the relationship between objects. the emergence of GNN enables deep learning to be applied in the field of graphs. However, most GNNs are trained offline and cannot be directly used in real-time monitoring scenarios such as financial risk control. In addition, due to the large scale of graph data, a single machine often cannot meet actual needs, and there are bottlenecks such as throughput performance. therefore, we propose a distributed graph inference computing framework, which can be applied to Encoder-Decoder GNN models. We complete the adaptation of the model by disassembling the graph data and using the extension storage and dynamic invocation mechanism to solve the model invocation problem. For inference performance, we implement dynamic graph construction through incremental composition and decouple the inference process to apply to different scenarios, so that GNNs conforming to the Encoder-Decoder style can be applied to the framework. A large number of experiments show that this method has good timeliness while improving the throughput upper limit, and can maintain the model effect of multi-tasking.

internet of things (IoT) is becoming increasingly significant and has the ability to benefit society. It offers several benefits such as interconnectivity, ubiquity, data generation, automation, real time monitoring, predictive analysis and resource optimization. It can be used in a variety of settings, such as buildings, businesses, healthcare, agriculture, and transportation, among others. Its widespread use makes it a flexible and potent technology. Due to its potential to revolutionize healthcare delivery, improve patient outcomes, increase operational efficiency, and lower costs, the IOT is crucial for the healthcare industry. While IoT-based healthcare solutions have numerous advantages, there are also a number of problems and difficulties that must be properly resolved in order for them to be successfully implemented and used. the primary concern is security and privacy. Integration of blockchain and IOT can be highly useful in various healthcare industry by addressing critical issues related to security, trust, data integrity, and automation. the primary objective of this study is to demonstrate how IOT based healthcare sensors can communicate with blockchain networks to make the whole healthcare eco-system highly secure and efficient. Initially, effective blockchain framework and RPM (Remote Patient Monitoring) sensors were identified. this study deployed Hyperledger fabric framework to implement the RPM system. thereafter, two experiments were conducted and it is found that there was no packet loss when RPM transactions were sent to blockchain network at the speed of 2 transactions per minutes but the system encounter with packet loss at 5 transactions per minute. © 2024 IEEE.

the internet of things (IoT) is a frequently employed term in the twenty-first century. It is an important part of the Industrial 4.0 revolution and has garnered industrial traction. By 2030, there will be approximately 50 billion internet of things devices, according to many projections. Some countries will expand around two-thirds of these IoT devices on their own. Numerous internet of things or IoT issues might arise from inadequate computing power and broadband availability. these issues include low power, security, and heterogeneity. It will be challenging to provide bandwidth to billions of internet of things devices with the current infrastructure. the Improved Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (IDBA) techniques solves this issue by improving the quality of service (Qos) in IoT devices and providing a steady bandwidth supply. the IDBA algorithm is fed a dataset of IoT bandwidth from smart home-based devices. Based on the degree of use, data sets from different IoT devices will be collected. To improve service quality, dynamic bandwidth allocation and machine learning are employed. In terms of specific metrics like time delay, accuracy, precision, recall, and other parameters the result is superior. © 2025 the Author(s). Published by Elsevier B.V.

this paper describes the design and implementation procedure of a Robot Operating System (ROS) testbed for research on the concept of internet of Vehicles and the integration of Digital Twins in autonomous vehicles. the proposed testbed integrates communication devices, sensors, and micro-controllers to collect real-time data from the physical environment, enabling the replication of such systems in a virtual environment using Digital Twins. the framework provides a hands-on approach for researchers and students to understand the operation and control of autonomous vehicles without requiring full-scale vehicles. the interactive and immersive learning experience simulates a real-sized vehicle, allowing users to explore the effects of different control algorithms and sensor configurations. Developed using open-source software such as ROS and low-cost microcontrollers and sensors, the platform is affordable for research and development, providing an engaging and practical learning experience. © 2023 IEEE.
