Elevator group control algorithms constitute a vital component of intelligent building transportation management systems. this paper delves into the multidimensional challenges inherent in such algorithms: the uncertainty of passenger demand, striking a balance between energy efficiency and service quality, and the intricacy of the algorithms necessitating real-time execution. It provides a comprehensive review of the evolution and core challenges faced in elevator group control algorithms, with an emphasis on analyzing the characteristics, advantages, and limitations of various methodologies, including expert systems, fuzzy logic control, genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization, neural networks, and reinforcement learning. the study concludes by casting a forward glance at the prospective trajectories of elevator group control technology, notably the promising prospects of group control algorithms that integrate reinforcement learning with deep neural networks. these advanced algorithms hold significant potential in enhancing transportation efficiency, facilitating energy conservation and emission reduction, as well as optimizing passengers' psychological waiting experience in elevators. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a distributed coordinated control method of dual-arm reconfigurable manipulators based on adaptive dynamic programming is proposed. through kinematic analysis, the dynamic models of the reconfigurable manipulators and the grasped object are established, respectively. According to the load distribution method, the motion induction force is effectively distributed on each arm. then, the dynamic model of a single reconfigurable manipulator is obtained. the performance index function is defined to reflect the joint position tracking error and internal force tracking error. the neural network is utilized to approximate the performance index function to obtain the optimal control strategy through the Policy Iteration (PI) algorithm. thus, a distributed optimal coordinated controller is acquired. the tracking error of the manipulator system is proved be ultimately uniformly bounded (UUB) through Lyapunov's stability. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed control method is verified by simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

the article describes the capabilities of a real-time operating system (RTOS) from the point of view of its application in solving problems of controlling power electronics devices. Using the example of implemented power electronics devices, most of which have been put into pilot operation, the capabilities and advantages of the proposed approach to implementing converter control systems are shown. It has been demonstrated that with the help of real-time operating system it is possible to implement not only centralized control systems, but also distributed ones that exchange information between devices and modules using the required protocol and data format. How a RTOS can be applied to control systems of power electronics devices, which require fast and accurate responses to input and output data changes described. How to use a RTOS to implement common control tasks such as switching, modulation, protection, and synchronization explained. the results presented in the article can be used in the design of control systems for power electronics devices and other electrical energy converters. © 2024 IEEE.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a common endocrine-metabolic disorder affecting about 10-13% of women during reproductive age worldwide, often leads to irregular menstruation, infertility, obesity, and long-term health risks such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. In this paper, clinical data from PCOS patients and healthy control group were collected from ten hospitals containing 37 key indicators such as age, weight, BMI, menstrual cycle, etc. BP (Back Propagation) Neural Network prediction models were constructed and compared using the collected data and the cross-validation method was used for parameter tuning. It was found that BP Neural Network performed particularly well on the test set, and both demonstrated high prediction accuracy and generalization ability which provided strong evidence for the early identification and early valuable intervention opportunities for PCOS patients. © 2025 IEEE.

Aiming at the issues of model mismatch and poor performance of model-based control methods under the influence of measurement perturbations, a novel model-free adaptive predictive control method (MFAPC) with anti-disturbance scheme is proposed in this paper. First, the compact form dynamic linearization (CFDL) method is used to equate the complex nonlinear model to an incremental dynamic linear time-varying model. then an improved unscented Kalman filter based on the I/O data of the system is derived based on the dynamic linearized data model of the controlled system and the statistical properties of the measurement noise. On this basis, the generalized model in model-free control is applied to the predictive control of nonlinear systems, and the prediction equation is derived. Finally, the optimal control law is solved according to the optimization strategy of predictive control rolling. the analysis of the experimental results shows that the proposed method has strong anti-interference and robustness, and has a fast dynamic response. © 2023 IEEE.

In view of the problems existing in chemical analysis, the drilling pressure and audio generated by drilling Pr-Nd metal were used as auxiliary variables for soft sensor. the accuracy of the classification model established by soft-sensing algorithm reached 98.78%, which was close to the accuracy of manual measurement, and could effectively screen out unqualified products with carbon content of praseodymium and neodymium metal. It provides an improved method for the online automatic measurement of carbon content of rare earth metals, and provides a reference and improvement for the determination of praseodymium and neodymium metal content in industrial production. © 2023 IEEE.

With the continuous promotion of PV poverty alleviation projects, a large number of centralized PV power stations are connected to the distribution network, which brings significant economic benefits, but also has a certain impact on the distribution network, especially under certain circumstances will result in high loss of transmission lines. the paper analyzes many factors affecting transmission line loss, combines the power generation characteristics of PV power stations, conducts research on PV power station transmission line loss reduction, and proposes measures to reduce line loss such as adjusting the power factor of PV inverters and installing energy storage devices, which is of certain reference value for PV power station transmission line loss reduction. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the outstanding problem of high energy consumption and low output of molecular sieve in a gas company, an energy-saving transformation scheme of molecular sieve circulating heating is introduced. On the basis of the current process flow of the unit, the optimization and upgrading transformation are carried out. the waste heat after nitrogen in the production process is introduced into the molecular sieve regeneration process, and the molecular sieve regeneration gas is preheated in advance, and the smooth switching of the double system of waste heat after nitrogen is realized by means of automatic control. After the implementation of the project, the temperature of the electric heater after pre-heating is much higher than that before pre-heating. the heating time of the electric heater is shortened by one-third, and the switching cycle of the molecular sieve is increased by 50 %. the switching frequency of valves, pipelines, adsorbents and control units in the molecular sieve area is reduced, the service life of the molecular sieve is prolonged, the failure rate of the instrument is reduced, the operation stability of the unit is improved, and the energy-saving optimization control of the oxygen generator is realized. © 2024 IEEE.

the design of a compact and scalable linear electromagnetic actuator with spatially selective actuation and magnetic stabilization is presented. the concept is based on multi-layer coplanar coil topology, which operates rare-earth-based permanent magnet sliders and takes advantage of all the parts formed by a printed circuit board (PCB). With its potential applications in the precise manipulation of small loads and control of mechanisms in microgravity environments, the actuator stands out in compact and scalable dimensions, low weight and inertia, ease of deployment open-loop control, low manufacturing demands, material resistance, and durability. the paper discusses the basic design, construction, and actuator operation and presents the first experimental verification of the actuator concept. © 2023 IEEE.

the difficulty with conventional pulse width modulation (PWM) techniques for three-level F-Type inverters (3L-FTI) is the capacitor voltage variation. the modulation scheme must be created considering all aspects of the investigated wide-speed-torque range traction drives. In the traditional field-oriented control (FOC) method, an elliptical reference vector-based multilevel space vector PWM (SVPWM) technique is introduced in this paper. Simple arithmetic operations and logical judgments are sufficient for this technique;trigonometric operations and lookup tables are avoided. Neutral point (NP) voltage balancing is achieved with fewer switching intervals during start-up using a modified virtual SVPWM method(VSVPWM). Experimental results from a 3L-FTI prototype with different speed-torque scenarios and simulation results from a Simulink model are employed to demonstrate the efficacy of the suggested algorithm. © 2024 IEEE.
