the application of fully controlled insulated gate bipolar transistors as commutation devices and the voltage source converters constituted by them in power systems has produced and promoted the development of flexible direct current transmission technology. Considering the fragility of power electronic devices, if a short-circuit fault occurs in the HVDC system, the resulting overcurrent may damage the power electronic devices. this paper proposes a control strategy for flexible DC operation, which can realize active support for AC voltage and suppress fault short-circuit current. Finally, a simulation verification platform is built based on PSCAD/EMTDC. the simulation results show that the control method proposed in this paper can effectively achieve the expected control objectives and ensure the stable operation of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

In the harsh operating environment of deep sea, the underwater autonomous vehicle is affected by the seawater disturbance, and the magnetic coupling structure may have certain offset, causing the transmission power and transfer efficiency of the system to decrease. In this paper, an equivalent mathematical model of DD orthogonal wireless power transfer system is established to analyze the output characteristics of the system;the influence of the input voltage amplitude and phase difference of the resonant network on the transmission power and transfer efficiency is studied;an efficiency optimization control strategy is proposed to optimize the system efficiency and control the output power by controlling the ratio of the input voltage amplitude of the resonant network;Finally, it is experimentally verified that after using this control strategy, the efficiency of the magnetic coupling structure is improved by 1.7% under the case of 100mm x-axis offset, and the system can still maintain stable and efficient power transfer under the situation that the coupling coefficient changes in a wide range. © 2023 IEEE.

the aim of the work is to study the dynamics of ash deposits formation process at sulfur fuel oil combustion in boiler units of small steam capacity, the influence of these deposits on technical and economic characteristics of boiler operation and analysis of ways to reduce emissions of harmful substances. the aim is achieved by experimental studies, in which the object was steam boilers DE-6,5/14GM, burning fuel oils of M100 and M40 grades. With the help of a bench installation installed in the gas outlet at the flue gas outlet from the convective part of the boiler, the intensity of ash deposits formation on its heating surfaces was determined. the results of measurements were evaluated for the content of gross error according to the Romanovsky criterion. the graphical dependences describing the percentage of heat transfer coefficient losses were obtained by the calculation method. According to the results of flue gas temperature measurements the heat losses in flue gases were determined. Comparative analysis of technical and economic indicators of power plants depending on the fuel quality showed that when using low-sulfur fuel oil, the average steam capacity of the boiler unit increases to 7-9 %, while the amount of harmful substances emitted with flue gases decreases. © 2024 IEEE.

the home is the most beautiful place to live in and it is the roof of many custom talents and the perpetual activities are taking place. Everyone has a dream to construct their own house and they tend to work for it. Do you have any idea if a home works for you instead? How does it feel like? It will be amazing right. the proposed system will work for the convenience of the user and most of the things are automated by a simple controller. the controller acts as a human bot that controls all the activities in the house through a small sensor fixed in all the electronic gadgets. People will be happy to see if a system works for them. the system works for us and it is not required to worry about the everyday chores. the bot that controls our home will be easily admirable and makes our work easier. To complete all these procedures and protocols, a bot is required. the bots are usually controlled over a local network and it depends on place to place. thud the bots are used in the form of cleaning materials, breakfast planners, or many other uses. the usage also varies from time to time and place to place. the usage of these bits depends on the convenience of the people and the time beings. the important part of the proposed system is that they are defined to work in an online platform with the home network. the home network is an authenticated local area Wi-Fi network. thus, the system has a firewall and it cannot be easily broken, thus the system could upgrade to the other version through the biggest cloud platform. the user can upgrade to the newer version of the application instead of changing the whole application or the whole system. the web applications used to store the data are stored in the cloud. In offshore flexible DC transmission systems, fault crossing and surplus power dissipation can be achieved by configuring DC energy dissipation devices on the onshore DC side. Based on the analysis of the topology and operating mode of hybrid energy dissipation devices, this paper proposes capacitor voltage balance strategies and energy balance strategies for sub-modules under different operating modes. Compare and analyze different energy balance strategies in terms of energy balance effectiveness, computational complexity, and resource costs. Select energy balance strategies that meet engineering requirements. Based on the engineering design of the German Borwin6 hybrid DC energy consumption device, the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed sub module capacitor voltage balance strategy and energy balance strategy in actual working conditions are verified through system simulation. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the formation acquisition of multi-agent system with non-holonomic dynamic model of wheeled mobile robots (WMRs) is addressed using model predictive control (MPC). the strategy is to augment the formation keeping term taking into account the relative positions of all agents. the power of Hungarian algorithm is exploited to further reduce the control effort by minimising the path travelled by the overall multi-robotic system. Simulation is done for 3 different cases and it is found that the proposed control design satisfies the design objective of formation acquisition with reduced control effort. © 2024 IEEE.

Multi-microgrids collaboration can offer great potential benefits to industrial park since they possess considerable flexibility in local consumption of renewable energy and reduction of operation cost. However, the uncertainties and fluctuations arising from photovoltaic and load pose great challenges for revenue maximization of industrial park. In light of this, a distributed model predictive control (DMPC) with consistency theory and synchronous alternating direction multiplier method (SADMM) is proposed for collaborative scheduling of multi-microgrids industrial park, which only requires the information exchanging among interconnected units. Firstly, the robust equivalence associated with uncertain photovoltaic and load is formed by polyhedron uncertainty set, and a robust revenue maximization model for industrial park is proposed in consideration of time-of-use price, demand price, and on-grid price under two-part tariff. After that, a DMPC with consistency theory based strategy considering incremental operation cost of various controllable resources is presented to address the fluctuations in real-time power regulation. Finally, we provide a SADMM to optimize the proposed control strategy to achieve completely distributed computing. Simulation results conducted on a multi-microgrids industrial park illustrate that the proposed collaborative scheduling can efficiently manage flexible resources to lessen the influence of uncertainties and fluctuations on the revenue of industrial park. © 2023 IEEE.

the proportion of photovoltaic power generation in the global energy structure is increasing year by year. Because of its volatility and periodicity, grid-connected photovoltaic challenges the safe and stable operation of power grid. One of the ways to solve this problem is data mining. Data mining needs high-quality data support, and data cleaning is one of the important means to improve data quality. Aiming at the problem of poor quality of original PV data, this paper analyzes two typical outliers of PV data and proposes a PV output data cleaning method based on Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise (DBSCAN) clustering algorithm, quartile algorithm and Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation method. Comparison of DBSCAN clustering algorithm combined with the quartile method of outlier identification with the quartile method alone outlier identification, the effectiveness of the method proposed in this paper is verified. then using the method proposed in this paper for outlier identification based on Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation and cubic spline interpolation to verify the data filling effect, the results show that Pearson correlation coefficient interpolation is superior to cubic spline interpolation. Finally, two sets of data with different data cleaning methods are substituted into the Long short-term memory (LSTM) Model to verify accuracy of the cleaning method proposed in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.

Estimating the time of arrival (ETA) in public transportation can be challenging due to incomplete data and the complex nature of the urban environment. this study aims to address persistent criticism of the poor punctuality problem in Malaysian buses through the modeling of bus arrival time predictions. the study uses geographical and time data to predict bus arrival times through several boosting models. the data cleaning method enhanced data quality by eliminating invariable entries, segmenting the bus route for a more granular analysis, and encoding the data for improved structure and reliability. through the implementation of Boruta for feature selection, relevant variables crucial for prediction were identified, contributing to the model's precision. the results highlighted LightGBM's superiority over AdaBoost and XGBoost, exhibiting the highest accuracy and a balanced level of complexity. this integrated methodology not only presents a robust prediction model but also showcases a potential practical implementation. © 2024 IEEE.

the Joint Test Action Group ( JTAG), an international standard testing protocol (IEEE 1149.1 compatible), is primarily used for internal chip testing to address chip testing issues. However, the powerful functionality of the JTAG poses a serious threat to the security of chips and devices when maliciously exploited. Due to the serial input nature of scan chain data, malicious users can use basic hardware to access data in the chain, leading to key or information leakage. they can also manipulate the test chain to cause abnormal data input/output or switch the circuit's operating mode, resulting in chip malfunction. To mitigate these threats, this paper designs and implements a hardware prototype system, including a stream encryption module and a Role-Based Access control (RBAC) permission management module. the stream encryption module encrypts scan chain data to prevent unauthorized access, while the RBAC permission management module ensures that only authorized users or roles can access the corresponding scan chain data. By integrating these two modules and working in coordination with the JTAG, comprehensive protection of the scan chain is achieved. Experimental results demonstrate that the designed encryption monitoring scheme and permission allocation technology effectively protect the boundary scan chain from unauthorized access and malicious attacks. Furthermore, they can manage the usage permissions of authorized users to reduce the risk of unauthorized use in case of chip key leakage. Despite increased resource consumption in terms of time and space, the system remains within estimated ranges.
