Efficient management of urban traffic is crucial for public safety. the traditional fixed-timing traffic light system presents considerable challenges for the seamless movement of emergency vehicles, notably ambulances. To tackle this problem, our IoT-based solution consists of two essential hardware components: a signal-emitting device integrated into emergency vehicles and a signal-receiving device at traffic signal intersections. these components utilize wireless communication to enable continuous data exchange. On the software front, we've developed a sophisticated traffic management system that can receive and process signals from the signal-emitting device, allowing for real-time adjustments to traffic signal timings. Our primary goal with this system is to prioritize emergency vehicles, particularly ambulances, by dynamically altering signal timings based on precise vehicle location and direction. this innovative approach eliminates the need for manual traffic control intervention and greatly enhances the efficiency of emergency vehicle response within the urban traffic environment. © 2023 IEEE.

To address the problems of inrush current, high-frequency switching body diode loss and Boundary Conduction Mode (BCM) working condition loss in totem-pole Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter, an improved totem-pole bridgeless PFC converter is designed using SiC Schottky diode and SiC IGBT, which reduces the effects of inrush current and conduction loss while improving circuit efficiency. Based on the direct voltage feed-forward control principle, the converter control system is optimally designed to cut the harmonic interference caused by the current spikes at the over-zero moment and enhance the power quality. Simulation model of the improved totem-pole bridgeless PFC converter and its control system is built using Simulink. Experimental results demonstrate that the converter designed in this paper achieves high efficiency and high power quality under the action of the control system. © 2023 IEEE.

In most super-resolution experiments, because the data set in the real scene cannot meet the quantity requirements, it is necessary to downsample the high-resolution images using the degradation method to obtain the same proportion of low-resolution images. However, because the same degradation method is used to process images, the processing process of low-resolution images is relatively simple, which is easy to cause model solidification in the subsequent training process. After the training is completed, the generalization ability will be generally low due to the single underlying degradation method. this paper uses the SRMD method to build an unsupervised multilevel degradation, and takes advantage of the adduction network generated in unsupervised learning. After extracting image features, it adopts anisotropic Gaussian fuzzy kernel, bi-cubic subsampling and additive Gaussian noise to compose the degradation training data set. Compared with the traditional bi-cubic PNSR, the performance is improved by 5%. the SSIM value is increased by 3%, and the running speed is increased by 7% on average. © 2023 IEEE.

In computer vision and 3D data processing, effective point cloud filtering is crucial for high-quality model reconstruction and analysis. Traditional methods like the weighted local optimal projection (WLOP) can reduce noise but often lead to over-smoothing, especially in complex or dense point clouds. this study introduces a novel point cloud filtering technique that integrates Kmeans++ clustering with an improved WLOA methodology. By pre-classifying the point cloud data with Kmeans++, the method enhances filtering efficiency and preserves more structural details. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach significantly outperforms traditional WLOP in terms of filtering accuracy and edge detail retention, particularly in large-scale or noisy environments. Additionally, this research assesses the impact of different clustering techniques on filtering performance, highlighting the effectiveness of Kmeans++ clustering within this framework. these findings advance point cloud processing technology and offer new insights and tools for further research and practical applications in the field. © 2024 IEEE.

Upon connecting numerous renewable power sources to the power grid, the inherent high randomness and volatility in renewable energy often result in challenges such as unbalanced power supply, diminished power quality, and unstable operational statuses. these challenges significantly elevate the complexity of urban energy operation and management. Moreover, with each micro energy network system catering to different energy preferences, conventional management practices within a single energy category must evolve to address multi-category energy optimization and control. this paper proposes an optimization and control framework for the urban energy internet, encompassing multi-category energy subsystems. Firstly, it formulates an optimization model for the urban energy internet aimed at maximizing integrated value across various energy categories. Secondly, it employs a model predictive control algorithm that relies on a two-time prediction domain for continuous optimization. Validation of the proposed optimization method is conducted using the modified IEEE 30-bus system distributed micro energy network. the results demonstrate that the proposed method optimizes the micro energy network with respect to their preferences. © 2024 IEEE.

Metro lines in megacities often experience extreme congestion during peak hours, causing passengers to strand on platforms and pose serious operational risks. this paper formulates a mixed-integer nonlinear programming model (MINP) for the train scheduling and passenger flow control coordination problem with adjustable dwell time on overcrowded metro lines. It can offer a service-oriented schedule plan and implements the effective passenger flow control strategy to reduce platform congestion while maintaining transportation capacity. By employing a linearization method, this paper transformes the proposed model into a linear program that can be efficiently solved via Gurobi. Finally, numerical experiments show that the total waiting time of passengers is reduced by 40.8%, which can effectively reduce rail traffic congestion, and verify the effectiveness of the model. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Aiming at the problems of insufficient feature extraction and inaccurate prediction in existing aircraft engines remaining useful life prediction algorithms, a fusion model based on feature attention mechanism, stacked noise reduction autoencoder and bidirectional gated cycle units (BiGRU) was proposed. Firstly, weight is assigned to each sensor data of aircraft engine by the feature attention mechanism, and new weight data is obtained. Next, the stack noise reduction autoencoder is used to extract the weighted data. then, bidirectional gated recurrent units are employed to predict the time series data and obtain the remaining useful life of the aircraft engine. To accurately select the hyperparameters of BiGRU, the Bayesian optimization algorithm is utilized for hyperparameter optimization. Finally, ablation experiments were conducted on the CMPASS dataset to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method, resulting in a root mean square error and score of 13.51 and 252.61, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

When a DC fault occurs in the DC power grid based on half-bridge MMC, a DC circuit breaker (DCCB) shall be equipped on the line to clear the fault within a few milli-second. With the improvement of system capacity and voltage level, the design requirements of breaking capacity and energy-consuming in DCCB gradually increase. Based on the active energy control of a half-bridge MMC, this paper analyzes the principle of suppressing fault current and analyzes the suppression effect of active energy control on fault current of MMC-HVDC system composed of domestic devices 4.5kV/5kA insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) and 5.2kV/3kA bi-mode insulated gate transistor (BIGT). the effectiveness of the proposed control method is validated in PSCAD. When active energy control is used in IGBT-MMC and BIGT-MMC systems, the fault current after fault can be reduced by 22.50% and 21.01%, respectively, and the absorbed energy of the circuit breaker can be reduced by 44.68% and 43.17% respectively. Active energy control plays a more significant role in the MMC-HVDC system composed of high-power devices. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper proposes a high-performance, lowpower, and wide-band Ring Voltage controlled Oscillator (RVCO) with a differential topology. Utilizing a dual-delay path method alongside a novel structure as a pre-charger and pre-discharger circuit has successfully improved the efficiency parameters of the proposed VCO. Also, employing composite load at the output node which shows an inductive impedance, leads to an increment of frequency bandwidth. the introduced circuit is designed and simulated in a standard 180nm CMOS process under the power supply of 1.8V. the oscillation frequency in the proposed circuit can be tuned from 853MHz to 3.178GHz with a variation of control voltage from 0.7V to 1.8V, leading to a tuning range of 115.35%. this structure achieves a phase noise of -87.02 dBc/Hz at 1MHz frequency offset from the carrier. Also, the presented VCO dissipates an average power of 1.495mw. the figure of Merit (FoM) of this VCO is calculated at -152.09 dBc/Hz and it occupies an area of 26.13 μm×50.9μm. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, Time-Sharing Power Supply MultiInput Dc Converter Type Two-Stage three-Phase Micro-Grid Power Supply System is proposed, which is composed of a timesharing full-bridge Buck-type multi-input DC converter cascaded with a three-phase four-wire inverter with capacitor mid-point balancing circuits, and the energy storage batteries are connected in parallel to both ends of the intermediate DC bus;the front-stage multi-input DC converter adopts energy management PWM control strategy with multiple new energy maximum power outputs, and the back-stage capacitor mid-point balancing circuit and the inverter adopt voltage-current double closed-loop PWM control strategy and bipolar SPWM control strategy, respectively. the front-stage multi-input DC converter adopts the energy management PWM control strategy with multiple new energy maximum power outputs, and the back-stage capacitor mid-point balancing circuit and inverter adopt the voltage-current double-closed-loop PWM control strategy and bipolar SPWM control strategy, respectively. the topology, energy management control strategy, power supply mode and steady-state principle characteristics of the power supply system are studied in depth, and important conclusions and key circuit parameter design guidelines are obtained. the simulation of the 3kVA 240360VDC/600VDC/380V50HZAC power supply system confirms the feasibility and correctness of the proposed scheme and theoretical analysis. © 2024 IEEE.
