A novel 12/14 conical bearingless switched reluctance motor is designed for the problem that the torque and suspending force control of conventional BSRM are coupled with each other and cannot control the axial suspending force. First., the structure and principle of the conical bearingless switched reluctance motor are introduced., and the main dimensions of the 12/14 BSRM are calculated with reference to the design method of the conventional SRM. then the size of the conical motor is determined by increasing the cone angle., etc. on the basis of the 12/14 column BSRM. three structures based on the large end of the rotor., the small end of the rotor and the middle section of the rotor are proposed to explore the effect of the cone angle on the motor performance with the same excitation current and magnetic saturation., respectively., to determine the final size of the motor from the consideration of the performance and the difficulty of machining. Finally., the effectiveness of the designed motor is verified by analyzing the inductance., torque., suspending force and coupling characteristics of the motor. © 2023 IEEE.

To overcome the limitations of traditional deep knowledge tracing models, particularly in capturing complex exercise relationships and handling long data sequences, we introduce SKT-BiGRU. this optimized model combines bidirectional Gated Recurrent Units (BiGRU), sparse attention, and RMSNorm. It first translates a learner's historical interactions into real-valued vectors for more accurate trajectory modeling. the sparse attention mechanism boosts computational efficiency and interpretability, allowing focus on critical data points for prediction. RMSNorm normalizes the neural network's outputs, improving training stability and convergence speed. the model effectively captures intricate exercise dependencies through self-attention and sparse attention. these hidden states and attention weights are combined with the bidirectional GRU output to predict a learner's performance on upcoming questions. Experimental tests carried out on two public datasets have confirmed that SKT-BiGRU, in comparison to the baseline model, exhibits an improvement in its AUC (Area Under the Curve) metrics ranging from 3.5% to 6.1%, and an increase in ACC (Accuracy) from 0.4% to 3.2%. these results demonstrate its effectiveness in augmenting deep knowledge tracing. © 2023 IEEE.

this paper proposes an adaptive notch filter (ANF) control method based on recursive least squares (RLS) parameter identification, to suppress the vibration at the end of a single-link flexible manipulator (SFM), for the end inherent vibration frequency generated during operation. Firstly, the damping of SFM is considered, and its transfer function model is established to analyze the causes of vibration generated at the end. then, the self-Tuning expressions for the notch filter (NF) parameters are derived based on the results of RLS parameter identification. Finally, the simulation and experimental results show that the method can automatically suppress the vibration problem caused by the end of SFM during the motion online. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid development of the Internet and the Internet of things, smart city and smart home are gradually penetrating into people's lives. through the cognition of existing smart furniture models in the market, research is conducted on the problem that the wisdom of furniture is only reflected in the electrical appliances, while the wisdom of resting sofas is underdeveloped. the wisdom of the smart sofa model lies in its ability to understand the user's habits and preferences through deep learning and to realize the user's living needs in terms of movement or temporal characteristics. Using a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the metaverse virtual model of intelligent furniture to realize the contradiction between user needs and real furniture defects. the results of the SPSS modeling experiments demonstrate the reliability and rationality of the blood pressure monitoring, heart rate monitoring, stand up assistance and childcare functions of the smart sofa. the innovative construction of a virtual model of a smart sofa provides thinking and data support for the development of smart furniture products. © 2023 IEEE.

During severe grid fault, doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)-based wind turbines (WTs) demand switching to transient controls (e.g., demagnetization control) to suppress fault current. However, the transient stability considering LVRT control under weak grid fault has not been explored. To fill the gap, this paper firstly established the transient model of DFIG- based WT during severe grid fault, taking demagnetization control into account. Based on it, the stability of DFIG-based WT is evaluated by the Lyapunov's energy function and inverse trajectory method. It discovered that improper demagnetization control could lead to new transient instability issue. Moreover, the implications of diverse elements (i.e., the grid condition, grid impedance, demagnetization coefficient, PLL control parameters) on the transient stability are revealed, and some control design guideline is provided for DFIG-based WT during severe grid fault. Eventually, the analysis is verified via experiments. © 2023 IEEE.

Since the discovery of the piezoelectric effect, the application of piezoelectric technology has been increasing. the rotary valve has precise and controllable characteristics for the contact dispensing process, and has become an indispensable part of the dispensing industry. For a long time, the working mode of piezoelectric ceramic valve controller is relatively single. the traditional point mode, line mode and single channel can no longer adapt to the development of industrial automation. With the increasing complexity of dispensers, customers have put forward more and more customized requirements. In order to better adapt to the development of dispensers, reduce the difficulty of control, and shorten the development cycle, a more flexible and convenient controller system is needed.

the high penetration of wind energy brings chal-lenges to the frequency stability of power systems. the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is desired to provide inertia sup-port by releasing kinetic energy (KE). However, it may cause over-deceleration and a secondary frequency drop. the installation of a battery energy storage system (BESS) is an effective way to solve the problem. this paper proposes a coordinated inertial control method of DFIGs and BESS for wind power plant (WPP) to support short-term frequency and enhance the frequency na-dir. the equivalent inertia of the WPP is analyzed to allocate power for each DFIG and BESS. In the proposed method, a state of charge (SOC) distribution factor is first proposed to calculate the active power reference of DFIGs and BESS. then, the allo-cated power reference of each DFIG can be obtained according to its level of KE. the goal of the proposed control method is to avoid the severe SOC decrease and the over-deceleration of DFIG, thus a stable effect for short-term frequency support can be ensured. Simulations performed in DIgSILENT/PowerFactory show the proposed control method has a good performance in improving the frequency nadir, keeping the levels of SOC and KE. © 2023 IEEE.

the HVDC transmission system achieves power regulation by fast control of the converter trigger phase. In addition, in order to expand the power regulation range and keep the system in a good operating condition, it is supplemented by converter transformer tap regulation. In this paper, we first analyse the tap regulation strategy in the existing technology, and put forward the dynamic no-load DC voltage method, i.e., according to the mathematical model of the high-voltage DC transmission system, we establish the dynamic no-load DC voltage reference value and the function relationship of DC power, and control the trigger angle or the shut-off angle with the increase of the DC power to reduce, so as to avoid the reciprocal regulation of the tap changer affecting the service life of the tap changer or even causing damages, and at the same time avoid the large fluctuation of reactive power. At the same time, large fluctuations in reactive power are avoided. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to solve the problems of wrong device address, unreasonable network bandwidth setting and low level of automation control of industrial Internet, a standard verification platform and test system for industrial Internet based on IPv6 fuzzy control are designed. We determine the network architecture of the industrial Internet according to the demand analysis, and complete the design and implementation of the embedded IPv6 protocol stack. We design a fuzzy rule library to describe the relationship between input and output. the corresponding IPv6 communication protocol and mechanism are used to achieve communication between fuzzy control modules and other system components. this module is used to accurately predict the situation awareness within the industrial interconnection network to ensure the security and reliability of communication. A real environment is established to test and analyze the data path, and the correctness and compliance tests of the system are implemented, which provided ideas for the development of IPv6 based industrial Internet network construction and promotion of related applications. © 2024 the Authors.
