Honey is an agricultural product that is very easily polluted. One type of honey-producing bee is the stingless bee, where this type of bee has its own uniqueness and quite high selling value. the weakness of honey from this type of bee is that it has a high water content, so it is quite susceptible to damage in terms of quality. therefore, in order to survive in the market, there are treatments such as thickening and adding mixed products to the honey. Some sample data were obtained from the location of this type of honey cultivator, then fluorescence-based spectrum data was collected with certain test scenarios. Discriman model analysis with principal component analysis is a tool to see the distribution of spectral data in this case. Principal component (PC) 1 with a value of 63% and PC 2 only 36% is the basis for consideration for proposing a generative model in processing spectral data that has a higher percentage of information values included in the dataset. © 2023 IEEE.

We propose an approach based on aspect-oriented programming to specify and to verify interaction protocols in the component interfaces of Java programs. First, based on method patterns of AspectJ we introduce a simple protocol specification language that specifies temporal orders of operations of an interface. We then develop an algorithm that takes a protocol specification and produces aspect code that will check for protocol conformance of programs that use the interface at runtime. Finally, we propose several extensions that enable the integration of our approach with static techniques and allow checking protocols over multiple components.

this one-day tutorial is aimed at software engineering practitioners and researchers, who axe familiar with object-oriented analysis, design and programming and want to obtain an overview of the technologies that are enabling component-based development. We introduce the idea of component-based development by defining the concept and providing its economic rationale. We describe how object-oriented programming evolved into local component models, such as Java Beans and distributed object technologies, such as the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI) and the component Object Model (CONI). We then address how these technologies matured into distributed component models, in partiuclar Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) and the CORBA component Model (CCM). We give an assessment of the maturity of each of these technologies and sketch how they are used to build distributed architectures.

this work introduces a Performance Model Management Repository (PMMR) for component-based enterprise applications. A PMMR is a central server that allows managing performance model components in corporate environments. A key challenge when using performance models in such environments is to distribute, update and maintain them. Especially, when software components represented in performance models are under the control of different teams in an organization. Additional problems arise as soon as release cycles for their components are not synchronized. A PMMR helps to address these challenges by introducing a central repository in which different performance model component versions can be managed and maintained. Such capabilities support the collaboration of distributed teams as they can manage their performance model components independently from each other. Performance models of specific component versions can be combined into one performance model as required for the current performance evaluation. We propose to build such a PMMR using the capabilities provided by the Palladio component Model (PCM) as meta-model and the EMFStore as underlying versioning repository. Copyright © 2015 ACM.

this roadmap describes ways that researchers in four areas - -specification languages, program generation, correctness by construction, and programming languages - -might help further the goal of verified software. It also describes what advances the "verified software" grand challenge might anticipate or demand from work in these areas. that is, the roadmap is intended to help foster collaboration between the grand challenge and these research areas.A common goal for research in these areas is to establish language designs and tool architectures that would allow multiple annotations and tools to be used on a single program. this volume constitutes the proceedings of the ?rst ACM SIGPLAN/SIGSOFT international conference on generative programming and component Engine- ing (GPCE 2002), held October 6–8, 2002, in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, as part of the PLI 2002 event, which also included ICFP, PPDP, and a?liated workshops. the future of Software engineering lies in the automation of tasks that are performed manually today. generative programming (developing programs that synthesize other programs), component engineering (raising the level of mo- larization and analysis in application design), and Domain-Speci?c Languages (elevating program speci?cations to compact domain-speci?c notations that are easier to write and maintain) are key technologies for automating program de- lopment. In a time of conference and workshop proliferation, GPCE represents acounter-trend in the merging of two distinct communities with strongly ov- lapping interests: the generative and component-Based Software engineering conference (GCSE) and the international Workshop on the Semantics, App- cations, and Implementation of Program Generation (SAIG). Researchers in the GCSE community address the topic of program automation from a contemporary software engineering viewpoint; SAIG correspondingly represents a community attacking automation from a more formal programming languages viewpoint. Together, their combination provides the depth of theory and practice that one would expect in apremier research conference. three prominent PLI invited speakers lectured at GPCE 2002: Neil Jones (University of Copenhagen), Catuscia Palamidessi (Penn State University), and Janos Sztipanovits (Vanderbilt University). GPCE 2002 received 39 submissions, of which 18 were accepted.

Modern virtualized system environments usually host diverse applications of different parties and aim at utilizing resources efficiently while ensuring that quality-of-service requirements are continuously satisfied. In such scenarios, complex adaptations to changes in the system environment are still largely performed manually by humans. Over the past decade, autonomic self-adaptation techniques aiming to minimize human intervention have become increasingly popular. However, given that adaptation processes are usually highly system specific, it is a challenge to abstract from system details enabling the reuse of adaptation strategies. In this paper, we propose a novel modeling language (meta-model) providing means to describe system adaptation processes at the system architecture level in a generic, human-understandable and reusable way. We apply our approach to three different realistic contexts (dynamic resource allocation, software architecture optimization, and run-time adaptation planning) showing how the gap between complex manual adaptations and their autonomous execution can be closed by using a holistic model-based approach.

the goal of aspect-oriented programming is to modularize crosscutting concerns (or aspects) at the code level. these aspects can be defined in either a general-purpose language or in a language that is fine-tuned to a specific aspect in consideration. Aspect-specific languages provide more concise and more readable aspect declarations but are limited to a specific domain. Moreover, multiple aspects may be needed in a single application and composing aspects written in different aspect languages is not an easy task. To solve this composition problem, we represent both aspects and aspect languages as modularized logic metaprograms. these logic modules can be composed in flexible ways to achieve combinations of aspects written in different aspect-specific languages. As such, the advantages of both general-purpose and aspect-specific languages are combined.

Geometric Algebra (GA) is an algebra that encodes geometry much better than standard techniques, which are mainly based on linear algebra with various extensions. Compared to standard techniques, GA has clearer semantics and a richer, more consistent language. this expresses itself, among others, in a much greater genericity of functions over the algebra. Exploiting this genericity efficiently is a problem that can be solved through generative *** paper describes our Geometric Algebra Implementation Generator Gaigen 2. Gaigen 2 synthesizes highly efficient GA implementations from the specification of the algebra. Functions over such algebras can be defined in a high-level coordinate-free domain-specific language, and Gaigen 2 transforms these functions into low-level coordinate-based code. this code can be emitted in any target language through a custom back-end. Benchmarks of our implementation show that the combination of GA and Gaigen 2 can rival the performance of standard geometry techniques, despite the greater abstraction and genericity of *** obtain this high performance, Gaigen 2 must adapt the generated code to the program that links to it. this is done via a profiling feedback loop. While running, the generated code makes a connection to the code generator. the generated code sends information about functions that should be optimized. the code generator registers this information and sends back new type information. After the program terminates, the code is regenerated according to the recorded profile. this profiling feedback technique may also be useful to implement other types of algebras.
