this paper presents a PID-Based Bang-bang control system for controlling an Antilock Braking System (ABS) in heavy vehicles, simulated on a computer. ABS aims to prevent skidding incidents during sudden braking at both low and high speeds. ABS control using the PID-Based Bang-bang control method was tested with various variations of P, I, and D parameters to determine which parameter performs the best. the results of the four types of tests indicate that utilizing the Proportional and Derivative (PD)-Based Bang-bang control method effectively manages slip without oscillation and prevents skidding incidents. the time required to stop on both wheels is also faster compared to the other methods, namely 4.57 seconds with a stopping distance of 98.6 meters.

With the widespread popularity of intelligent connected vehicles, the demand for software updates of Electronic control Units (ECUs) is becoming increasingly frequent. However, as the functionality of software update packages becomes more enriched, the time required for Over-the-Air (OTA) update also lengthens accordingly, and the security of update packages particularly important in this process. Aiming at the problems existing in the current OTA update of vehicle, this paper proposes an OTA system solution based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) hybrid encryption and decryption technology and Ethernet transmission. through validation, this OTA system not only significantly reduces the time for OTA updates but also ensures the security of update packages, thereby meeting the growing update demands and security standards.

Individuals suffering from quadriplegia can achieve increased independence by using an assistive robotic manipulator (ARM). However, due to their disability, the interfaces that can be used to operate such devices become limited. A versatile intraoral tongue control interface (ITCI) has previously been develop for this user group, as the tongue is usually spared from disability. A previous study has shown that the ITCI can provide direct and continuous control of 6-7 degrees of freedom (DoF) of an ARM, due to a high number of provided inputs (18). In the present pilot study we investigated whether semi-automation might further improve the efficiency of the ITCI, when controlling an ARM. this was achieved by adding a camera to the end effector of the ARM and using computer vision algorithms to guide the ARM to grasp a target object. three ITCI and one joystick control scheme were tested and compared: 1) manual Cartesian control with a base frame reference point, 2) manual Cartesian control with an end effector reference point 3) manual Cartesian control with an end effector reference point and an autonomous grasp function 4) regular JACO 2 joystick control. the results indicated that end effector control was superior to the base frame control in total task time, number of commands issued and path efficiency. the addition of the automatic grasp function did not improve the performance, but resulted in fewer collisions/displacements of the target object when grasping.

this paper investigates the bipartite consensus of nonlinear multi-agent systems that exhibit cooperation-competition behaviour using a dynamic event-triggering control method. the setting of error functions based on agent states in much literature has been expanded in this article. We have additionally introduced combined measurement functions to solve the consensus problem with antagonistic behaviour and Lipschitz nonlinear dynamics. In addition, sufficient criteria for achieving leader-follower bipartite consensus are derived by applying the Lyapunov stability theory. By incorporating dynamic event- triggering parameters, the controller update is no longer restricted to a constant condition but adapts dynamically based on the error. Moreover, our communication strategy enhances communication efficiency and eliminates Zeno behaviour. A numerical simulation has conducted to evaluate the superiority of the theoretical results.

A wide range divider chain based on CML structure in 28-nm CMOS process is implemented including a main divider chain and a multiplexer selector in this paper. Each 2/3 dual mode divider can divide and divide the input signal, and the multiplex selector can screen the required frequency according to the control signal to output, which can achieve a large coverage and flexible and easy to adjust the frequency range of the divider output. In this work, the input frequency is between 20-30GHz and the output frequency is in a wide range between 0.83-15GHz. the frequency divider chain has a wider output frequency range and requires less hardware, which is more conducive to the on-chip integration of the digital PLL and greatly saves the entire chip area of the digital PLL.

Image Scenario classification is widespread for many IoT applications. Classifying scenario helps in making proper decisions. the study aims at classifying six different scenarios using a deep neural network algorithm. the proposed InceptionV3 classification algorithm could predict the scenarios and achieve 92.00% accuracy. A quick comparison is shown with the traditional machine learning algorithms, SVM and MLP. the study shows the power of the deep neural algorithm and classifies the scene image dataset with higher precision.

the picking path of a six-degree-of-freedom (6 DOF) manipulator was planned according to the order requirement for the problem such as small working space and various goods in self-service supermarket. Different control and fetching strategies are adopted to enable the end-effector to contact the surface of the goods smoothly and quickly for efficient and accurate goods suction. the experiment indicates that the motion trajectory of the manipulator is consecutive and smooth without jumping point; and the average working efficiency is 24s per piece with the rate of successful picking is 98% which realizes the function of grabbing the target goods autonomously for the goods-picking robot system.

With the recent advancement and rapid proliferation of wireless devices, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANET) is becoming a major immerging technology in the field of telecommunication networks. A MANET is a collection of wireless nodes that can dynamically form a network to exchange information without using any pre-existing fixed network infrastructure. Due to the mobility of nodes in MANETs, local connections changes frequently and makes the network topology change constantly. In order to maintain the local connections up-to-date and track neighbor relationship between the nodes, each node broadcasts hello packets at regular intervals. However, sending periodic messages at a fixed interval can cause unnecessary traffic in the wireless network, and so may give reduced performance in the presence of frequent topology changes. this paper proposes an adaptive Hello messaging scheme for neighbor discovery using Differential evolution optimization (DE). the proposed scheme provides a self-tuning method for automatically increase the routing performance by adapting the value of hello interval. By using the DE, each node has the ability to select the optimal configuration for Hello interval parameter that can improve the global performance of the network. the proposed scheme is implemented under NS-2 simulator and tested using different scenarios. Our simulation results have shown that, compared to the default fixed timer approach, the proposed scheme could effectively improve control traffic overhead without sacrificing other performances such as packet delivery ratio and Average end to end delay and without using manual configuration.

Wind energy is currently the fastest growing source of renewable energy used for electrical generation around world. Wind farms are adding a significant amount of electrical generation capacity. the increase in the number of wind farms has led to the need for more effective operation and maintenance procedures. Condition Monitoring System (CMS) can be used to aid plant owners in achieving these goals. Its aim is to provide operators with information regarding the health of their machines, which in turn, can help them improve operational efficiency. In this work, wind turbine fault detection system based on wind vs. power performance curve obtained from SCADA is studied. Considered fault detection scheme utilizes artificial neural network for training normal behavior of wind turbine system. Furthermore, In order to verify the effectiveness of the performance curve based fault detection scheme, SCADA data obtained from 850kW wind turbine system installed in Kunsan Korea are used and various simulation studies were carried out.

Some companies have extremely strict requirements for the safety management of personnel and equipment in the production plant, including real-time counting of the number of personnel. However, in practice, it may not be convenient to use traditional access control for real-time counting due to production efficiency. this study aims to design a video streaming-based visual counting method for personnel at critical entrances and exits. To achieve this goal, we extensively evaluated and compared the performance of traditional target detection algorithms to find the one that is suitable for our task scenario. Subsequently, we delved into the RCNN [7] family of algorithms and the YOLO [8], [9]family of algorithms for both two-phase target detection algorithms and single-phase target detection algorithms. We used manually annotated datasets to train the relevant models and tested these algorithms for performance evaluation in task scenarios. In the end, we chose the YOLOv7 and StrongSORT [9], [13] based algorithms to successfully implement the personnel counting task and achieved a small error through model optimization to make it suitable for complex scenarios.
