Considering constantly increasing demand for shift from mass production to mass customization and the need to maintain high level of automation despite permanent changes in manufacturing technologies and tools new approaches and solutions have to be provided in manufacturing. Cyber-Physical Systems and Industrial Internet of things are enabling smart manufacturing to tackle the challenge of data processing, integration and interpretation, but beyond uniformed data collection and visualization. the cognitive approach is argued to introduce brain and biologically-inspired algorithms capable to better adapt industrial systems for unforeseen conditions. Such approach should provide flexible and robust solution for manufacturing systems, enabling new level of adaptability and re-configurability in the system by self-X capabilities. In this paper contemporary solutions applicable for introduction of cognitive capabilities in manufacturing systems are studied and the architecture for cognitive manufacturing system employing benefits of Industrial Internet and Cognitive control is proposed.

Predicting user clicking preferences is a critical issue in the ranking process reflected by the returned results from search engines. A few studies have explored the extracted sequen- tial information in the queries while this underlying information can be focused on as a valuable source for predicting user click preferences. this paper proposes an attention-based LSTM model to predict user click preferences on a submitted input quey using the previous queries sequence and user click history. In this model, we use the topic distribution of user documents as attention to the LSTM model. the feature information of the content extracted is used as the attention information of the LSTM network during the training process. We compare the model with topic-based ranking models with data from an AOL search engine and Session TREC 2013,2014 to show its performance. the result reveals significant improvement in the attention-based LSTM model using topics in the Mean Reciprocal Rank by 13% compared to the baseline topic-based models.

Many countries are developing electric vehicles as a commitment to reducing the impact of carbon emissions. Electric vehicles have quite high prices compared to conventional cars. this high price is dominated by the price of electric vehicle components, namely batteries. this is what underlies the importance of designing a charging system that is not only fast but guarantees the safety of the battery. LifePO4 batteries are batteries that are sensitive to temperature changes. Exposure to high temperatures can have an adverse effect on LiFePO4 batteries causing faster degradation. In this paper, a charging system is designed that is equipped with CC-CV control which changes when the SoC reaches 80%, which is the limit when a Li-ion battery must operate. the internal temperature of the LiFePO4 battery is maintained between 30° - 40° by regulating the charging current using consideration of the internal temperature of the battery and the SoC itself to prevent the main aging mechanism of the battery. To achieve optimal temperature use pulse charging 30C and when the optimal temperature is reached the charging current is reduced to constant current charging 4C. Apart from that, it is also tested when the battery experiences a faulty condition and variations in ambient temperature which will affect the charging current. Simulations using Matlab Simulink have been successfully carried out to verify the proposed method above.

Online and robust localization in a large scale outdoor environment is an essential component for self-driving vehicles. this paper addresses the theoretical and experimental development of a 6DOF localization approach with an online Unscented Rauch-Tung-Striebel (RTS) Smoother. this work focuses on the performance evaluation of the Unscented RTS smoother from a low-cost inertial sensor and consumer-grade Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS). the method is evaluated on a publicly available dataset (with centimetre accuracy benchmark) where we compare our results against the stand-alone Unscented Kalman filter (UKF) and an offline unscented RTS smoother. the extensive evaluation against the conventional approaches demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach, capable of providing accurate/online vehicle's localization information.

Poly-articulated, myoelectric hand prostheses reproduce complex multi-degree of freedom movements, which are fundamental to effectively assist upper limb amputees in the execution of daily life activities. In this scenario, the control system consists in a pattern recognition algorithm translating the recorded electromyographic (EMG) activity into joint movements. However, the low decoding performance typically reached by the control system results in poor stability of the prosthetic device. In order to solve this issue, here we tested several state-of-the-art classifiers for decoding multi-joint hand movements from electromyographic recordings of arm muscles, collected from healthy subjects. Specifically, we tested: NonLinear Logistic Regression (NLR), Regularized Least-Square, Artificial Neural Network, Support Vector Machine, and Linear Discriminant Analysis. We aimed at minimizing the number of EMG electrodes (6 maximum) by optimizing each classifier in terms of the F1Score, and then we compared the performance of the classifiers. We found that the NLR algorithm achieved the best results with only 3 EMG electrodes. the optimized algorithms were then tested on three right arm amputees controlling a virtual hand. We obtained that algorithm's performance was comparable with that obtained from healthy subjects. In particular, the NLR classifier achieved 99% correct classification for all the patients, indicating its potential effective use in prosthetic applications.

this paper reviews the applications and development of web crawling and text-image matching technologies in the field of information processing, with an emphasis on the CLIP model and its adaptation for Chinese contexts. Web crawling technology utilizes automated programs to simulate browser behavior, efficiently accessing and extracting webpage information, while text-image matching technology combines computer vision and natural language processing to enable computers to understand textual descriptions and retrieve relevant images. Notably, the CLIP model, a deep learning-based text-image matching technology, has garnered attention for its high accuracy, generalization ability, and unsupervised learning, which does not require large amounts of labeled data. the paper also introduces a major application in the realm of art and cultural heritage restoration, where these technologies play a pivotal role in the digital reconstruction, preservation, and virtual presentation of artworks and artifacts. Additionally, the importance of data ethics, privacy protection, algorithmic fairness, and preventing technological misuse are emphasized. the paper concludes with future trends pointing towards more intelligent web crawlers, more precise image semantic understanding, and more user-friendly experiences.

this paper proposes an enhancement to the existing Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) system implemented in the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) of PLN Central Java & Yogyakarta. the current system focuses on equipment capacity and switching operations. However, this study introduces additional variables such as the reliability index, disturbance history, technical losses, and load forecasting to improve system efficiency and reliability. A case study conducted on the KDS15 feeder demonstrates how these new variables optimize network reconfiguration, significantly reducing potential losses and disturbances. the FLISR algorithm's decision-making process was enhanced by using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to prioritize network sections for restoration, yielding more reliable results compared to the original method. Simulation results show a reduction in technical losses, improved prioritization of network recovery, and reduced recurrence of disturbances. Most required ata is accessible through Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), except for health index data, which remains unintegrated. the novelty of this research lies in integrating additional variables into the FLISR recovery process, demonstrating its potential to improve distribution network reliability and efficiency.

Applicated of LoRa technology itself will not separated from an interface who created to connect between humans and computers in this case a smart home device was made. this study aims to design a GUI interface for LoRa-based smart home and implement a smart home system using applications that can control LoRa-based household electronic devices. the results of this study are devices for applying LoRa-based smart homes and web-based applications as interfaces so that users can use smart home devices. LoRa Dragino is used as a client and server communication tool and the NodeMCU (ESP8266 Module) is used as a liaison between the server and the user through the GUI interface created. this web-based application is compatible with Android 6.0, 7.1.2, 9.0, 10.0, and iOS 9.3.5, and various browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. the test results of the interface design are made with a 10 times test of each feature that produces 0% error, which means that the features contained in the interface design are made to work according to plan. the average delay when controlling a household electronic device is 3.86 seconds. the furthest communication distance between the LoRa Server and the LoRa Client is 63 meters in blocked space and 183 meters in semi open space.

In this study, we suggest short-range, lightweight 6th subsequent generations (6 G) in-X network parts as a valuable radio concept responding to the demanding connectivity requirements of new applications like wearable control of arms equipped with robotics and critical on-body gadgets which include wireless heart pacemakers. the main requirements of ultra-high fidelity (exceeding 6 nines when) and sub-millisecond delay at all spatiotemporal contexts demand powerful radio systems contrary to fading and interference. Our study thoroughly explores technology drivers and methods for interference reduction in 6 G in-X subsidiary networks. the proposed methods include blind-repetition at pseudo-random frequency shifts and environment-aware tools for interference control through dynamic channel sharing. Additionally, we suggest two novel enhancements: real-time repeat order adaptation using current channel dynamics and preemptive packet duplication, during which subnetworks that are duplicate signals on a third channel group upon spotting possible nearby subnetwork interference. Simulations in an industrial workplace setting with mobile in-X subnetworks, by employing 3GPP-defined models, show the need for large internet connectivity, packet repeats, and environment-aware interference synchronization to achieve low packet loss percentages and sub- $100 \mu$ s delay. the suggested improvements show large packet loss rate decrease for systems with life times $\gt 2$ cycle times.
