GeoCloud is a geological information service system integrating computing resources, data and application systems, which will be upgraded to 'GeoCloud 3.0' in 2021. the system realizes the cloud sharing of a large amount of geological data and the cloud service of real-time monitoring data. To ensure the stable and efficient operation of the system, this paper introduces an innovative unified real-time monitoring module, which is embedded in the multi-layer cloud service model. Automatically capture and analyze compute service performance metrics and log data at all levels of IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), DaaS (data as a Service), and SaaS (software as a Service) with non-intrusive technology. the monitoring system of this multi-layer cloud service model not only improves the operation and maintenance management level of 'GeoCloud 3.0', but also provides strong data support and technical guarantee for the further development and optimization of geological information services in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

the proliferation of digital technologies has led to an exponential growth in personal data generation, raising significant privacy, security, and ownership control challenges. However, existing centralized identity and data management models present concerns leading to data breaches, unauthorized data sharing, and loss of user ownership control. To address these issues, this article proposes a novel Personal data-as-a-Service (PDaaS) platform, which leverages the robustness of a permissioned blockchain to ensure data integrity and access control, while using IPFS for decentralized and resilient data storage. It enables a secure and decentralized user-centric framework for managing personal data while preserving user privacy and data sovereignty. Leveraging a suite of advanced technologies including decentralized identifiers, verifiable credentials, enhanced encryption techniques (i.e., quantum-resistant encryption), zero-knowledge proofs, and dynamic consent management, the PDaaS platform enables individuals to retain ownership and control over their data while facilitating secure and privacy-preserving data processing, sharing, exchange, and monetization. this paper presents the design considerations and framework architecture of the proposed platform, which was built using the Hyperledger Besu to assess its feasibility and performance. It also discusses the implications, use cases, and challenges of deploying the PDaaS platform. © 2024 IEEE.

Numerical models usually contain a large number of data reading and writing, which generally takes a long time. At present, massively parallel technology has accelerated the speed of computing in model, but due to the limitation of computer I/O ability, the acceleration effect is limited, and there is a serious load imbalance during the model operation process, resulting in a waste of computing resources. To deal with that, this paper proposes a new I/O scheme, which can dynamically optimize task allocation during program operation, make full use of computing resources, and increase the mutual coverage of computing and I/O processes, so as to effectively shorten the model running time. Finally, the test in the earth simulator shows that the new I/O scheme improves the operation speed of the regional high-precision air pollution model by 25.45%. © 2023 IEEE.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, chips have become increasingly important. the emerging RISC-V instruction set gradually provides powerful computing support for this field. In this context, along with the computing requirements of deep learning, this paper presents the design of a high-performance floating-point arithmetic logic unit (FALU) that facilitates calculations with double-precision, single-precision, half-precision, and Bfloat16 precision data. this design is based on a single-channel algorithm with merged rounding. It improves and implements a composite adder that combines high and low bits. It also proposes a tree-like floating-point comparator based on the Kogge-Stone parallel prefix network. To ensure that the FALU components meet performance requirements, we undergo functional verification in the Vivado simulation environment. Operating at 1.47GHz under the 28nm CMOS process, the components achieve the predetermined performance indicators. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we use the transport policy document of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as a starting point to explore the intergovernmental cooperation relationship for transport integration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and use social network analysis to construct the intergovernmental cooperation network of the transport integration policy and compute network metrics. the intergovernmental relations between central and local departments in the process of transport integration in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei discussed between overall network and individual networks. the results show that the structure of the intergovernmental relationship network is becoming more complex and the three-legged pattern with the transport sector as the core is becoming clearer. the inter-governmental relationship network continues to expand horizontally and vertically. the relevant departments of Xiong'an New Area are not sufficiently involved enough and are in a passive position in the cooperation. the asymmetric administrative hieroglyphs stand out. © 2023 IEEE.

Electroencephalography (EEG) data is invaluable for investigating EEG physiology, neuroscience and clinical medicine. However, EEG signals are characterized by temporal nature, high dimensionality, and noise, which make it difficult for traditional feature selection methods for EEG data to extract useful information effectively with high computational effort. To solve this problem, this paper proposed a fast feature selection algorithm for multichannel EEG data based on a convolutional neural network (FFSEEG-GNN). Specifically, the algorithm pre-processes the multichannel EEG data, then extracts the waveform features and builds a CUDA architecture using GPUs to convolutional neural network operations. Finally, the most representative subset of features is selected in order of feature importance and feature extraction is performed. In addition, the simulation comparison experiment proves that the algorithm achieves 92.60% in terms of precision rate. therefore, the program has accurate feature selection capability, which is expected to play an essential role in clinical medicine. © 2024 IEEE.

Users’ behaviour on social media platforms reflects many aspects of real life, including personality, and these platforms provide a rich amount of textual data. Individuals communicate their thoughts, feelings, and ideas regularly, resulting in a rich and informative collection of personal data that may be used to a wide range of situations. As the word subconscious suggests, this is commonly referred to as "subconscious crowdsourcing," which means that people are unintentionally and subconsciously sharing information with their network. these people are therefore ideal candidates for personality prediction due to the massive expansion of those social media sites over the past ten years. Tweets, for instance, are frequently quite brief and display an odd language usage, consisting of acronyms and unique forms compared to textual sources. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

As a heterogeneous computing architecture, FPGA accelerators are widely used for AI and other fields. Compared with traditional CPU clusters, the architecture of the virtual FPGA cluster is relatively simple, and thus lacks the design of relevant mechanisms for data backup. In our work, a data backup optimization mechanism for the virtual FPGA cluster is proposed to select local sub-kernels and remote sub-kernels of other FPGA accelerators as data backups. During the selection of remote sub-kernel backups, the data transmission delay between the sub-kernel under evaluation and the sub-kernel to be backed up, the statistical probability of the historical errors of the sub-kernel under evaluation, and the internal environment influence factors in its FPGA accelerator are fully considered. the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed data backup optimization mechanism has shown good data disaster recovery performance. © 2024 SPIE.

this study created a categorization model based on stunting episodes, separating stunting and non-stunting groups. Stunting is a persistent nutritional condition in toddlers who are shorter in height than other children their age. data mining is one of the strategies used to extract knowledge from a large amount of big data and convert it into fresh data that can be understood as technology advances. the categorization model results provide a foundation for mapping the possibility of stunting events using the following methods: K-Nearest Neighbour, Logistic Regression, and Support Vector Machine (SVM). the proposed categorization model identifies stunting in toddlers from Pandeglang Regency, West Java, Indonesia, and Malaysia. the sample taken in this study consists of 798 children data. this study concludes that the three tests were successfully carried out, with data sharing ratios of 80%: 20%, 75%: 25%, and 70%: 30%, respectively. the model was repeated 100 times using a Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Logistic Regression (LR) and evaluated for precision, recall, f-1 score, and accuracy. the results of three experiments revealed that the best method is LR utilizing the chi-squared test feature selection, which achieved an accuracy of 85%.

Moreover, a 'soft' Voting Classifier that joins forecasts from RF, DT, and SVM supports framework execution considerably further. the blend of a simple to-utilize Flask framework with SQLite gives secure information exchange and sign-in usefulness while enhancing client testing for true arrangement. this far reaching technique not just further develops client and business information security and encourages distributed computing trust, however it likewise helps cloud specialist co-ops' and associations' trust in their ability to keep a protected web-based climate. Among the proposed calculations, the Voting Classifier scored the best execution accuracy of 96.45 %, while LightGBM accomplished 94 %. the leftover accuracy scores are as per the following: RF (95 %), AdaBoost (95 %), and XGBoost (9 4 %). © 2024 IEEE.
